If you follow me on social media, you know that I am all about #makingmemories with my kiddos.  I love my job, I love my friends... but family is what it is all about.  I have to admit, my hometown of Albany, Georgia doesn't really have much as far as things to do / events for my #makingmemories moments, but I can honestly say that they are trying to step it up!  When I was younger, there were several events at the Civic Center, from concerts to sports and it was always a good time.  As I got older (and the Civic Center did, too) the number of events started to dwindle and Broxton even asked a few times why it just sat there deserted.  Now...  there are events coming and we need to get the community behind to support those that come and open up an invitation to others to check us out!!!   The next "family" event headed down is the HOT WHEELS MONSTER TRUCK in February.  I hope that as events head down to Albany that I have the opportunity to ...

There is a particular quote that has stayed with me lately...  "We may not have it all together, but together we have it all.."  Those that know me, know that my kiddos are the most important thing to me.  I really will say that they are my everything and my biggest pride.  We might not do as much as we used to, but one thing for certain is we love, love, LOVE family movie night.  There really is nothing like getting snacks and drinks and then snuggling up to watch a movie with these guys!  I mean, we have plenty of furniture, but they like to sit as close as possible as if we only own 1 chair and that is all we are allowed to sit on! Recently, we were sent a Wonder Park DVD and family survival kit for review.  I know we planned on seeing it at the movies, but lets be real... It gets rather pricey if we want to go and see ALL the movies that are available.  Also, it isn't as "snuggly" in the theater as it is at home, if I am being totally honest!...

Last week we had Spring Break and unfortunately we did not get to go anywhere.  I hate that, but I was able to make the most out of it... We had a fun day where we went to the Fun Park and played putt putt, bowled, played laser tag and even some arcade games.  Another night was family movie night and I was so happy to be able to show them BUMBLEBEE.  We have been John Cena fans for a while (thanks WWE!)  so it was already exciting not even mentioning the whole TRANSFORMERS part of it all. Summer is almost over.  Seems like school just got out for the summer and now here we are starting back.  I remember when I was in school we got 3 months off for summer... now seems like they are getting shorter and shorter.  Honestly, I would not mind year round school, if they incorporated nice long breaks in between, but I think I am in the minority on this one.  Seeing as though I am a working mom now, we really did not get much time to go and do like we have in the past, but I tried to make it as fun as I could.  We planned a trip to the beach for several days and let me tell you... WE HAD A BLAST!!!!   I do wish time would slow down, as I know my "babies" won't stay "babies" forever... but I honestly LOVE watching them grow up and become who they are.  Yes, I have hopes and dreams... all parents do, but in the end... I want them to be WHO they are meant to be!    Since summer is coming to an end... and school has started back...

JoJo Siwa, does that name mean anything to you?  The ONLY reason I knew the name to begin with was because a friend posted on facebook about a JoJo Siwa Bow and I was so confused...
