(Most known for Peter Rabbit, but goodness, she had many other books as well!)  I was excited to add this one to our library because of it being Beatrix Potter, but once the book arrived, I was excited because it was a bit different from others.   Savannah laying down after I read the book to her.  Perfect for gift giving, it has a place to do a book dedication. I loved how the illustrations reminded me more of watercolors than classic illustrated children's books.  Each pa

Nickelodeon has a great lineup of shows that are not only fun to watch, but they are also educational for the littles to enjoy. Although Broxton is growing up and not into these shows as much as when he was younger, we try to keep kid shows on as background noise for the little hints of knowledge that he picks up without even knowing he is doing so.  Blaze is not just a show about a Monster Truck, they teach STEM and that is big in girls and boys at this age!   Make sure to check out the new DVD - available on February 16th. One day we are in hats, jackets and more. The next day its a light jacket and no need for all those extra layers.  I do know this much... We are getting ready to have "winter break" next week and that means that we will be enjoying Disney's Snow White.  I loved it when I was younger and Broxton has yet to see it.  I think he will enjoy it with me, so we shall see!!!  Don't forget that it was recently re-released on Blu-Ray and DVD in the Walt Disney The Signature Collection. Would make a great movie night gift basket for Valentines! Enjoy the activities below!  I also added a fun link to a chore

I forgot what movie we went to see, but the previews had The Secret Life Of Pets as one of the movies to see.  Broxton and I were both cracking up laughing and marked this as a movie we MUST see when it comes out.  Too bad we cold not remember the date, but we have it now!!!   July 8th...    Have you seen the previews for this?  Are you planning on seeing it when it comes out? For their fifth fully-animated feature-film collaboration, Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures present The Secret Life of Pets, a comedy about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day. Comedy superstars Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet and Kevin Hart make their animated feature-film debuts in Th
