Chicken Soup for the Soul Cat or Dog Lover Books

@OriginalFanBand Affordable Sports Memorabilia

We keep saying that we are going to exercise... but that is about it...
We have a walking track near us that we have gone to a few times and I will officially start walking when Broxton goes back to school in the New Year.
I have a Fan Band to wear, but to be totally truthful, I doubt I will wear it.

First of all...
What is a fan band?
It is an armband for you to show your support of your team/player without breaking the bank!!!
I was excited to see that they had the Braves... Hey, I am from Georgia.. and I am not a bandwagon fan.  Good, Bad or Ugly, I am still a Braves fan.  (Marc is a SF Giants fan...)
Well, they sent me a Braves one alright :)
But they did not just send any Braves fan band...
They sent me a CHIPPER JONES fan band.
So, this fan band is not going to be worn!
He just retired...
I wanted to put it up for safe keeping for Broxton, but I did not know if that was just me being crazy, or what.. I ended up asking Marc (he said to do what I wanted to do with it.. ) I then asked a friend of ours that is a big sports fan.  As soon as I was telling him about it, he was immediately like, you didn't open it, did you?  Keep that!
So.. it is not going to be opened.. it is up for safe keeping!
If you are a sports fan, or know someone who is..
This is a great (and inexpensive) way to show their team pride and still have money left to enjoy a game!!!!

The fan bands are in MLB and NBA jerseys...
Head on over to look and see if they have your team!
Make sure you like fan bands on Facebook and Twitter.

Daris Howard Books for the Holidays - #holidaygiftguide

Can you believe Christmas is almost here?
Wow... It really seems like this year has flown by!!!
Where does the time go?

Since the holidays are approaching, I wanted to remind you to take time to relax and enjoy the time, yes, life is hectic, but you can sneak a minute or two now and then!!
For me, I love when I have a few minutes to take a nice hot bubble bath!
Especially when we do have cold weather (Not too much of that lately, but I don't want ice again, so I am not going to complain that much!)
When I DO get to enjoy a bubble bath, I love reading a couple pages of a good book and that is why I want to share a couple books for you to check out.

I have to admit, I have not read these yet...
Life, hectic.. remember?  But, I do plan on reading them soon!!!!

Until then ( I will post reviews when I actually do read them) I did want to share so you could see if this was something that might be of interest to you.

Super Cowboy Rides:
Meet six year old Tommy Johnson, Super Cowboy and Super Story-teller.  When Tommy explains why a boy needs a dog for a pet instead of a cat, he wins everyone over with his down to earth and humorous view of the world.  But once Tommy starts school, things get complicated.  He gets put in the lowest reading group and told to stay in the back of the classroom.  He is picked on by his teacher and mocked by classmates.
When tragedy strikes, Tommy must carry a burden beyond what any first grader should have to face.  In the process of dealing with his grief, Tommy learns the meaning of true friendship.

The Three Gifts:
A beautiful Christmas story about three young men who are convicted of mugging little children for their Halloween candy.
Instead of sentencing them to jail, as is expected, the judge sentences them to 100 hours of community service babysitting at the Women's Crisis Center.
They were prepared for jail, but they were not prepared for what was in store for them as the children opened their eyes and hearts and changed their lives.

Life's Outtakes:
52 stories, one for each week, from the popular story column "Life's Outtakes."  These stories are a humorous and inspirational view of community and family life.

These all look like great books and I honestly cannot wait to enjoy reading them!

Relieve Your Eye - Optics Lab #Giveaway ($50 value)

Working in a sports bar for so many years, I have very dry eyes.   Well, I guess that is why they are so dry.  I really don't know why.  I used to wear contacts, but then I had to basically stop wearing them to work, as my eyes were so dry that it was miserable.  I actually had my eye doctor give me those artificial tears drops to try and help me...
Now, I hardly ever wear my contacts.  I normally wear them if I am going on a road trip (so I can wear my sunglasses) or if I am going out somewhere...   Other than that... glasses are 24/7.
I now also try and keep a bottle of eye drops in my purse at all times.
We were at a going away party once and this girl needed eye drops... They were from out of town and there was no where near us to go shopping to buy any.  I gave her my bottle and told her I had more, so she could keep it... but, what if I had needed some on the way home?
I remembered when I was younger my mom had these individual tubes that she kept in her purse..
I actually had some that I took with me to school.  Then, she never had them anymore, so I thought they must have stopped making the product.

Now, I see they didn't!!!
Mini-Drops is the name!!!
Mini-Drops are eye drops for dry eyes that come in single usage packs.  If you look at the picture, there are 4 tubes.  You just pop one off, pop the sterilized tip off and use, then discard!
Perfect to have in your purse... brief case, suitcase, bookbag... get what I am saying?!
That way, you can use it if you need... and have plenty for if you need to share a vial for someone else to use later!
We were sent a great package full of useful products from Optics Lab.
I was so excited for the that was what we used to carry all the time.

But then, I was totally surprised to learn of new to me products..  ( I say new to me, as my mom knew of it...)

Malcolm Finney, Medical Detective: The Case of Itch and Rash

When Broxton was a baby, I noticed this nasty rash on him one day...
He kept clawing at it and I eventually took him to the doctor.
Come to find out, he had eczema (I really had no clue what that was) and I needed to learn about it.

He would scratch his skin to the point it looked like he was clawing his skin off and at times, he would cry when I tried lotions and what not on it...
That being said, whenever I have the chance, I read and learn about eczema.
He does not get that many flare ups, but he still does...

When I saw that there was a children's book, Malcolm Finney, Medical Detective: The case of... itch and rash, I wanted to read this to see if it might shed more information on it... Or at least give me something to read to him to try and explain it to him.

Since Broxton is 3, I did feel as though the book was for older kids...
but, I did love that they had little note sections to tell you the definitions of different words...
Also, they have illustrations with the conversation in bubbles, but they also have basic story text as well, so you really do learn a lot.
Besides this book teaching about eczema, it was also helpful in teaching about allergies and other medical terms...
I felt like this book was a medical version of that television show, The Magic Schoolbus, as Malcolm actually went into the body to learn about the skin!

I thought it was a great book and I am happy to know that there will be other books in the Malcolm Finney series!  Up next, The Sugar Monster!!!

    @MrsRenfros Spices Those Meals Up!

We all know when it comes to cooking that I can always use the extra help.
Not that I am a bad cook, I am just not that big on exploring and creating new dishes...
I get paranoid that I will work my butt off to make a great dish, but then not like a certain spice and the whole meal be a waste... I am doing better with it now, but it is a slow process.
That was why I was pretty excited to have the chance to work with Mrs. Renfro's Gourmet Salsas.
Since 1940, Mrs, Renfro's Salsas has been making a name for themselves...
They have changed with the times to continue to create products that the customer will love and let me tell you, they do not disappoint.
We had the chance to try out a couple of them and wow...
I actually used one as a sauce for a pasta dish.. and I thought Marc was going to lick the bowl clean!
With his weird work schedule, I had made him a meal and left it for when he got home... We used the Garlic Salsa and he went on and on about how great it was... I was then a bit disappointed that I did not at least steal a taste, but I honestly thought there would be some left over, so I did not worry about it..  It was labeled as a "Roasted Garlic .  Medium Heat" so I was hopeful that it would not be too hot for him... He said he did not notice it being that bad at all (guess not since he ate it all!)
We also tried one of the salsa's over chicken once.
Another meal had me using it mixed with chicken, rice and veggies.
I have really enjoyed the way that Mrs. Renfro's Salsa spices it up and has a wide variety of heat to appeal to any and all salsa fans.
NOTICE -  If you have a foodie that loves HOT... Mrs. Renfro's Gourmet Salsa's even has the worlds hottest pepper in a salsa... That is right... GHOST PEPPER!!!!

If you want to try out Mrs. Renfro's  but are not sure what to cook, stop over and check out their recipe page...
I personally want to try the Super Spinach and Strawberry Salad:

    Super Spinach and Strawberry Salad

This recipe was developed for Renfro Foods by Carol Ritchie!

    Carol's Commentary:
Since super foods are all the rage, this salad boasts nutrient-dense ingredients. Mrs. Renfro's Pomegranate Salsa adds just the right balance of sweet and spicy flavor. A small amount of olive oil whisked into the salsa helps carry the flavors to every corner of your taste buds!
    • 4 cups spinach leaves
    • 1 cup snow peas
    • 1 cup sliced strawberries
    • 1/2 cup Mrs. Renfro's Pomegranate Salsa
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
Arrange spinach leaves, snow peas, and strawberries on salad plates. In a bowl, whisk together salsa and olive oil. Drizzle dressing over salad and garnish with almonds.

Make sure to follow Mrs. Renfro's on Facebook and Twitter.

Kung Fu Panda: Holiday Edition #holidaygiftguide

Broxton is at the age where he is really getting into the different holiday movies.  We love the Kung Fu Panda movies, so when I saw that they had a sort film that is called Kung Fu Panda Holiday, I was hopeful that we could add it to our movie collection.
It arrived just in time for us to be able to take it with us on our last "road trip" down to South Georgia.  We had to leave bright and early one morning, so I knew that Broxton was not going to be a happy camper.... As soon as I showed him the case of what he would be watching along the way, he was happy.
I will admit, I was jealous that I could only HEAR it, as Broxton was cracking up laughing!
We have watched it since we have been home, as I wanted to see it too!
At first, I was sort of put off as to why it seemed to be so rushed...  Yes, I knew it had a run time of only 26 minutes, but it seemed as though it was on fast forward... THEN it made sense...
The way it was set up, about half way through the movie, it just sort of  "went"  and all made perfect sense.
I thought the movie was cute and I loved that the story of the whole thing was the importance of family!
This is a great short film to add to your holiday collection!!!!

Beautiful!!!!! @CeeLoGreen: Mary Did You Know

Just thought it would be nice to share...
CeeLo Green just released his rendition of "Mary Did You Know" from his holiday album... and this video includes a preview of The Bible.
THE BIBLE is an epic 10-hour television series produced by Roma Downey (Touched By an Angel) and Mark Burnett (The Voice, Survivor, Shark Tank, Celebrity Apprentice) premiering on 3/3/13, and Blu-ray and DVD soon after.

**** This is not a sponsored post, I just wanted to share this with you all.

Naturally Me - Affordable Pampering! #holidaygiftguide

I recently had the chance to check out the site, Naturally Me.
Naturally Me is a store from a mom.  The owner, Chaundra, has 2 kids..
While growing up, they had skin issues and just as most parents, she could not afford to buy the expensive treatments... that was when she took matters into her own hands and created a product that they would be able to use... without the cost of it!
I for one am glad she did, as the prices on her site are very affordable.

That being said, I had to head over and check it all out... Of course, dealing with Broxton and his eczema flare ups, I was going to check out what they had for skin with eczema.  I was impressed that they not only had a body butter, but you could also purchase an eczema sampler set.
Surprisingly, I decided to treat myself!
I noticed that Naturally Me had a gardenia soy candle
If you know me personally, I love gardenia. It reminds me of my Nana and I love seeing gardenia scented products...   I was eager to try that, but I wanted to see if I could try more.
I was lucky that Chaundra said yes...
I was able to review their lime body scrub.  ( Really enjoyed it, I love how it exfoliates my skin, but doesn't leave me "too" greasy" as some scrubs tend to do.)
We also received the body butter.  I think I have determined that I am not a body butter fan.  Nothing against Naturally Me, but I feel like all body butters clog my pores and make me hot... Ha ha ha, am I the only one?  I actually have been using this on my feet, as the creaminess of the body butter is great after a shower to try and lock in the moisture a bit longer...
    But the soy candle?
Wow.. I will try and not get all sappy on you..
    I love it!
I enjoyed the smell of it as soon as I opened it.  It isn't so strong to knock you out, but it lets you know it is there. I have really enjoyed having this candle and the smell that it gives out is heavenly to me!    Actually, one time,  I had it sitting on a table (not lit, just sitting there open) and every time I walked by, I could totally escape back to my youth to when my Nana had a gardenia in the house and the subtle, yet oh so sweet smell would make it all okay in the world.

If you are looking for a great gift idea... I would say take a look at Naturally Me...
Besides the holidays, this would be a great gift for teachers to show you care about them caring for our future!

My mom has one of those card boxes that has separate sections for each occasion.
Yes, I have one now as well :)

Sports Illustrated Kids: Full Count #holidaygiftguide

Do you love baseball?  We love all sports here,  but Marc is a huge fan!
When I opened up our package and saw that we had just received Sports Illustrated Kids: Full Count, I knew that he would be eager to read it...  Little did I know that I would too!

This is a great book that is full of Top 10's of baseball...
From Mascots to Rivals...  to Ugliest Uniforms and most unusual windups!
This is a book for those that love baseball and for those that love baseball to share with those that might still be on the fence as to if they are fans or not!

I actually took this with me to read while I waited for Broxton in carpool.
I learned so much and really enjoyed not only looking at the pictures, but about the sport of "America's Pastime!"

I really think that boys and girls, men and women...
All ages would really enjoy reading this!!!!

Daddy and Me Fun Facts from Ice Age

Ice Age: Continental Drift is such a great movie...
We have really enjoyed it and we can even talk daddy into watching it with us!
With that being said, I wanted to share with you a post about "daddy and me" time events!
    Go to the Movies
The movies are a fun outing for any day of the week. Choose a new movie that interests you both, or check out a theater that plays classic family favorites. Depending on the time of the movie, you can go to lunch, dinner, or dessert afterwards to talk about your favorite characters.

Camping is a great way to take a break from everyday distractions like texting and Facebook and enjoy the great outdoors instead.  It provides the perfect opportunity to teach your daughter how to pitch a tent and start a fire. Many campgrounds also offer great hiking trails and rentals of canoes and paddleboats if near a lake.

    DIY Project
Everyone has a creative side and a DIY project is perfect for showing it off. You can try a large project such as sprucing up an older piece of furniture. Or maybe try a smaller project such as a plant holder for the back patio. Whatever you choose, make sure mom approves and consider all safety precautions.

    Day Trip to the Zoo
Even though the chances of seeing a wooly mammoth are slim, the zoo is a perfect place to take your daughter for quality bonding time. You can walk around in search of your favorite animals or take a guided tour to learn new and interesting facts. Make sure you bring a camera along so you and your daughter can take plenty of photos with the monkeys!

    Shopping… Dad’s Don’t Be Scared
A great way to bond with your daughter is to let her roam in her natural habitat… the mall of course! In order to keep things from getting out of hand, make the time about picking out the perfect gift for mom or another relative. And to balance it out, you can bring your daughter along the next time you are shopping for the latest gadget or sporting equipment.
What does your family do for "daddy and me" time?

Explore and Wonder with Time: Zoo 3D

We had the opportunity to review a pretty neat book and now I get to tell you about it.
Time Books (which I love, as we have several of them already) has released the coolest 3D book!
We recently had the chance to review, Zoo 3D and we loved it!
The images are outstanding and you really get the feeling that the animals are right there in front of you.  I was very surprised with the quality and was telling Marc about how impressed I was when we looked over at Broxton.  He was reaching out trying to grab the animals!  At that point, I stopped looking at the book and enjoyed the time watching Broxton as we flipped the pages!

You will be impressed with the images, but that is not all...
Time truly grabs you, as there is so much to learn as well!
Kids will love the pictures and the adults will love the time bonding and reading all the text on the pages!

Here is a sample of knowledge from the book:
    Know why a gorilla yawns?
    Nope... not tired!
Little "did you know" blocks are throughout the book,  but you also get to learn more about each animal featured!!!

    How I "Met" An Olympian!

    How cool is this?!
Remember how I told you I "knew" an Olympian?
(If you don't...  Long story short, I went to Seattle with a great friend of mine.  While there, we went to visit some of her family.  One of her family members, that I met for a brief second, was Courtney.  Wonder why the visit was so short?  She was on the way to Volleyball Practice... and now years later, she was IN THE OLYMPICS and yes.. I met her... )

I thought it would be neat to ask her a few questions and share them with you... so here we go:

Up first, I asked who she called first when she found out that she would be traveling with TEAM USA....
I can't remember who I called first, either my mom or my dad. Then Craig and Trevor and G-ma Cooper. It was such an incredible moment, and it was really cool getting to share it with all of them.
How long has she played Volleyball:
I have played volleyball since I was in 6th grade, so 18 years now. Crazy to think about!
If you could play any other sport in the Olympics, what would it be?
If I could play another sport in the Olympics I'd probably pick triathlon or the BMX bikes- those bikes sure looked fun!
Since I had no clue what it was like while over there, I had to know if they were able to see any of the other sports live while they were there...
I didn't see any other events live, but we had a TV in our rooms in the athlete village, so we could watch all the events from our room. And I'm pretty sure I watched almost every single event at some point during the games.
I also wanted to know what she wished she could have seen live, but did not have the chance to do so:
I wish I could have seen some track events live, because those athletes are so amazing, and the energy in that stadium is so powerful. I also really wanted to watch the triathlon because I just love the sport and admire what those athletes put their bodies through.
I also wanted to know what athletes she looked up to.
I look up to a lot of athletes for all different reasons. I'm a huge NFL fan, so I admire a lot of those guys. I admire a lot of the quarterbacks like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Aaron Rodgers for being so good at their craft and having such an influence on their teammates, Ray Lewis for his incredible work ethic and leadership, and someone like Barry Sanders for his humility and the way he lives his life off the field.
You know me... I wanted to know what some of the best memories were that she had from her experience there.
That's a tough question to answer. I feel so fortunate, so humbled, and so incredibly thankful for all the wonderful moments I had in London, it really is overwhelming. A few that come to mind are the first day my teammates and I got all our USA gear when we got to the village. It was so fun trying everything on together- laughing about the ceremony outfits- and it just kinda sank in that this was really happening. Another one would be right before Team USA entered the stadium during opening ceremonies. We were all chanting USA-USA-USA and I get goosebumps thinking about it now. Was an incredibly powerful moment that I got to share with my teammates and I will never forget it. Obviously the first time I went in in an Olympic match was a pretty cool feeling too- and something I've been dreaming about my entire life. The other best moments were getting to share this entire experience with my family. We got to have lunch together on days that we didn't have a game and those few hours every other day meant the world to me. To see how excited they were to be there, and to feel their love and support while I got to live out my dream is probably the coolest thing I think I've ever felt. It was such a blessing to able to have my entire family and a lot of extended family and friends be able to share this experience with me- and that turned out to be the best part of the entire Olympics.

    Isn't that just awesome?
She was so sweet to answer these questions for me... I really appreciate it!

You know, the whole time the Olympics were on, we were so proud of all of TEAM USA,  but it was kinda neat knowing that I had "met" an actual Olympian!  You would have thought Broxton was best friends with her, the way he would yell " USA! USA!  GO COURTNEY! USA!"

I can not wait until she is in the Olympics again!!!!!

Where Do Your Ideas Come From?

I realize that not all of my readers are in the US, so I am excited to tell you about a new site I have learned about.
If you are working on a new design for your toddlers room...
Kidsen has a great selection to check out!
Up first, I was trying to decide what I would do if we did not live in an apartment and I could decorate any way I wanted to.  But then I thought, you know, there is no need to worry about painting a wall when there are so many wall-stickers out there these days!  You know how I am about decorating without making a mark... Remember my love of the phototrax that we now have hanging in our house?
We all know how much my little one loves trains, so as soon as I saw the train stickers, I knew it was something he would love!
Then, I saw something that I want so bad for Broxtons room.
The only problem is I have not seen any in the states... and even if I did...
We really have no where to put it right now...
    Remember, apartment... in Atlanta...

But still, it is cute to think that if we had a house, I could plan on putting this cute children's desk.
I love looking at children's décor, so I can not believe that I had not seen some of the products they have before... I absolutely LOVE their toy box storage...  but with all of the books we have, I was totally checking out the book shelves they carry!
Also, for all of you that are in love with the owl theme that is going around like crazy...
No need to worry, they have plenty of Owl items to make you smile and have plenty of ideas for decorating to have your dream room!
How do you go about decorating?
Do you just sort of "wing" it.. or do you search online to find the perfect way to do so?
I look online and plan of dream rooms...  ( I used to graph out on graph paper the layout for how the room was set up to figure out space once furniture was in there!)

    Stompeez #giveaway #holidaygiftguide

I do not remember making my Christmas List as a kid from the different infomercials...
But, the times... they are a changin'!!!!
If you ask Broxton what he wants for Christmas, he can rattle off the list (that continues to grow daily) but I am lucky that for the majority, the list stays the same...
    One on the list...
You know what I am talking about!!!!
The slippers that have the ears that pop up to reveal their eyes!!!

I think they are just too cute and I can NOT wait to see his eyes when he opens them for Christmas!!!
Come to find out, they are under new management following issues from last year, so that should put a smile on everyone's faces!!!  Also, it is not just little kids that are putting these on the wish list...
I saw a friend of mine post on facebook that her kid had it on his wish list... and then a grown up friend of mine posted on her facebook that she thought they were cute and she wanted to sport a pair around her house!!!

Since I am giving these as a gift, I could not have an honest review of them..
but I can tell you this...
You want to make sure you have the right size..
They have the mechanism in the heel to make them pop open, so if you have a kid that will grow into them, they might not work properly.  I placed my hands in them and "walked" on the table to check it out... You don't have to have a whole bunch of weight on it to make them work, but at the same time, they are not "overly sensitive" to make them pop open with a slight touch.

They have several styles to choose from, so I know there is a pair out there to put a smile on your recipients face!
Lucky for you, one winner will be winning a pair of Stompeez
Please note, the winner will NOT get these before Christmas, because of the date of the giveaway.

Gift Finder: NOVICA $50 Gift Certificate #giveaway

A while back, I had the chance to work with NOVICA in a review of their products.
Well, I checking my emails the other day and I learned that NOVICA is constantly working on improving the shopping experience for all of their customers...

To start with, NOVICA has some of the most beautiful gifts I have ever seen.
They have items from jewelry to purses, sculptures to picture frames and so much more to look at.
What I think is so cool is that they are from all over the world.

When I had a chance to review in the past, I picked a beautiful ring for my mom... but that wasn't it... They had it packed in this beautiful box (that was traditional packaging for that area) and included a note that was written to the recipient.

Well, I was lucky when it came to picking that ring for my mom... but not everyone is so lucky!
Some people need a little help and that is where NOVICA is kicking it up a notch!
They have introduced their GIFT FINDER to help you find unique gifts for everyone on your list.

If you want to purchase something for the world traveler, why not look into a one of a kind purse?
With all of the parties being planned this year, look at the selection of host/hostess gifts.
Stumped as to what to get your dad?  Plenty of options... sweaters, jewelry, cutting boards.. the list goes on and on.

To help you with your gift giving...  NOVICA is giving you the chance to win a $50 gift code to check out their gift giving guide.

Get Rid of the Headache with @HeadCoolie

Have you ever had a headache?  What about a fever?
If so... (or if you are that lucky to not know what I am talking about, but know someone that does)  please keep reading!
We were sent a Head Coolie for review and this is pretty neat!
It is like a headband.. that has a little mesh backing on it.. with Velcro to hold the mesh to the front.
Well, the reason there is Velcro and all is there is an gel pack that you put in there.
The  pack is pretty thin, so it doesn't need too terribly long in the freezer to chill.
(The pack reminds me of those popsicles that everyone has probably tried at least once in their life.)

The other day, I noticed Marc had a headache.  (He hold whatever he is drinking to his head to get the cool to help his headache.)  So, I went and grabbed the Head Coolie.  I put it on his head and he laid there for a while and it appeared as though it helped to ease his headache.

We have not used it for fevers yet... but if it can help with a headache, I am happy with that!!!
Two more added bonus perks for me:
It is washable, so no worries if it gets dirty or sweaty.
Also, you can wear it on your forehead to eliminate headaches...or you can use it around your neck to help cool you down!  With us living in Georgia, I see me using it around my neck during the hot summers we have!

Make sure to follow Head Coolie on Facebook and Twitter.

    Adult Post: Zestra

With the holidays in your life....
Why not spice it up another notch with Zestra?

    All from the Zestra Site:

Many women say that feelings of desire, arousal and sexual satisfaction do not happen as naturally as they would like. Zestra was developed to provide a much needed option that is safe and effective for all women to feel more sexually satisfied effortlessly.
Zestra is a safe, patented blend of botanical oils and extracts, created to help women feel more — effortlessly. Topically applied Zestra works within minutes by heightening your sensitivity to touch — for deep, pleasurable sensations, sexual satisfaction and fulfillment.
After applying Zestra, the effects — the Zestra Rush™ — begin within 3 to 5 minutes and last for up to 45 minutes.
    Zestra Featured in Shape Magazine
Zestra has been recommended by millions of women, clinically proven, and physician approved. Despite all this, Zestra has had a difficult time getting its ads approved in any sort of mainstream media. Their ads have been refused by most TV networks, cable stations, radio stations, and websites such as Facebook and WebMD.
In a world where Viagra and Cialis can run advertisements during the Super Bowl including lines like, "An erection lasting more than four hours" why isn't it okay for women to talk about solutions for a better sex life?
Check out this article published in the San Francisco Chronicle and Huffington Post about the double standard in advertising that Zestra is constantly battling:

Important Information for You to Know about Zestra:
    • Recommended by doctors and other women's healthcare professionals.
    • Clinically proven to be safe and effective.
    • Hormone-free and paraben-free.
    • Topically-applied.
    • Works within 5 minutes, peaks at 10 minutes AND lasts up to 45 minutes.
    • Comes in convenient, single-dose personal packettes.
    • Has no known drug interactions.
    • Is made of botanical ingredients and is edible if ingested.

Zestra comes in convenient, single-dose personal packettes. Each individual packette keeps the essential arousal oils and extracts fresh and safe from light.
    1. Open a Zestra packette across the top, starting at one of the grooves on either side.
    2. Gently apply the contents of one Zestra Personal Packette (equivalent to 4 pumps from the bottle) to the clitoris and outer areas of the vagina.
    3. Within 3 to 5 minutes, you will begin to feel initial sensations — the Zestra Rush.™ These effects will peak at about 10 minutes and last up to 45 minutes.
    4. If you use a personal lubricant such a glide for comfort during sex, apply Zestra first. Wait five minutes for Zestra to begin to work, and then apply the lubricant. You must apply Zestra first to experience the Zestra Rush.
    * Most women find that one packette is the right amount. However, some women find a ½ packette is enough while others prefer more. We recommend trying one personal packette first, then adjusting, if necessary, the next time you use Zestra.
Zestra can be used as often as you like — including during each sexual experience.

Dinosaur Train Prize Pack #Giveaway #HolidayGiftGuide

I have mentioned before that Broxton loves Dinosaur Train and I actually enjoy watching with him..
Hello, trains and dinosaurs?  He loves it!
    Today, December 10, 2012...
We are getting introduced to 2 new Characters on the show!
Meet the Grandparents!   Grandma and Grandpa Pteranodon!!!!
Look at the new line up for this week:

“Tiny and the Crocodile”/“Meet the Grandparents”  Premieres December 10
Team Pteranodon travels to Dienosuchas Swamp to meet Deanna Dienosuchas, a crocodile over 12
meters with many big teeth, and a crabby attitude. Tiny leads the way to warm up Deanna who turns
out to be friendlier and less scary than the kids imagined. The Pteranodon kids have special visitors -
their Grandma and Grandpa! The kids delight in realizing they share similar traits with their
grandparents (laughs, expressions, and interests), and love showing Grandma and Grandpa around
the nest area and playing some games they all like.

“The Egg Stealer?” / “To the Grandparents’ Nest We Go!”  Premieres December 11
Buddy and Don stumble upon a mystery when they find unhatched eggs on their beach. The mystery
grows when some of the eggs are stolen. Don and Buddy become detectives and suspect that maybe
Tiny, Shiny, or other friends may be stealing the eggs. They’re not. Soon, all the kids join in to solve
the mystery, as they figure out that the eggs belong to an over-protective, caring mom named Olivia
Oviraptor who is just trying to keep her eggs safe. Buddy, Tiny, Shiny, and Don have fun spending a
special day with their retired Grandma and Grandpa at their cliffside nest. The kids get to see things
from their Dad’s childhood nature collection, and afterwards they play games and fish with Grandma
    and Grandpa.

“Double-Crested Trouble”/“Erma and the Conductor”  Premieres December 12
While riding the Dinosaur Train, Buddy and Tiny meet Dylan and Devlin Dilophosaurus, twin brothers with amazing double-crests on their heads. Dylan and Devlin like to compete over everything from getting the best seat on the train, to being the best hunter. After Tiny and Buddy spend time with the brothers, they show them how working as a team can help them succeed while hunting! The Pteranodon family is on the Dinosaur Train headed to the Big Pond for a special nighttime treat – watching a meteor shower in the sky! Mr. Conductor stops to pick up Erma Eoraptor, his best friend, whom he’s excited to spend time with that night. At the Big Pond, the Conductor and Erma are interrupted a few times while trying to be alone, but soon find the perfect spot back on the Train. They watch the meteor shower from there, as the Pteranodon family watches the amazing meteors from the Big Pond beach.

    “Dome-Headed Dinosaur”/”Treasure Hunt
The Pteranodon kids and their dome-headed friend Spikey Stygimoloch meet a brother and sister,
Patrick and Pamela Pachycephalosaurus, two dinosaurs with enormous dome heads. Spikey bonds
with the Pachycephalosaurus. Patrick and Pamela are athletes who invite the kids, Mom, and Spikey
along to watch them use their impressive dome heads to play a volleyball type sport called, Dome
Ball. Don has a large collection of things he’s found in nature, but he’s missing one hard-to-locate
item – amber. On the Dinosaur Train, Don and the other Pteranodon kids find out that Gilbert is also
looking for amber. At Amber Arroyo caves, Don and Gilbert separately search for and find amber,
    eventually bonding over their discoveries.

S.I for Kids For Those Younger Sports Fans

What do you get a kid that has everything?
Why not a gift subscription to Sports Illustrated for Kids?

My dad has been getting Sports Illustrated for as long as I can remember...
I honestly think he was a subscriber back when I was in high school, but I could be wrong..
All I do know is that at one point, my little brother had the kids version as a subscription as well!

I can also remember when Marc and I first got together... when the boys would come...
They would want a magazine for the bathroom (one especially) and I felt bad, as I had none for "boys" and what athletic boy wants to read Cosmo, Popular Photography and the likes?
I guess if I had thought about it, I could have ordered SI for kids...  but I did not think about it...
BUT, you better believe when they come for Christmas there will be one ready for them!
Keep in mind, it doesn't matter if you have boys or girls, if they love sports... They are sure to love this...  and what is better than giving them something they will not only enjoy, but we all know that reading helps to expand vocabulary and that by reading something you love, you are more likely to continue reading!!!!  (When you order a gift subscription online, you can print out a certificate to wrap for placing under the tree!)
While you are planning for a great gift for your sports lover, head over and check out the "2012 gotta get it guide" from Sports Illustrated.

****  I will be receiving a stocking as a thank you for sharing this with you. ****

    Pack It Away, With Packaways!

I was very intrigued when I heard about "packaways."
Have you ever heard of them?  If not, you are going to love this!!!
Packaways are storage containers that are reusable.  But get this, they are not just any storage container!  They are collapsible!!!  You can write on them and erase when needed!  Yes!  I think it is awesome!!!!

    Picture this...
You have all of our Christmas decorations packed up.  It is labeled CHRISTMAS.
You unload and decorate... Then, you just collapse them and it takes up less room.  You decide to donate them and decide to buy Halloween decorations... Next year, you break out the boxes and pack up your Halloween decorations. Since they are "dry erase" you just erase off CHRISTMAS and then write HALLOWEEN.

    Or.... do you camp?
(I don't so no worries there...)  Well, you can pack up what you are going to take on your trip in your packaways... then, when you get to your campsite, just unload and break it down.  When it is time to pack up the campsite and head home, you just pop your box back and you are good to go!

Another awesome thing?  It is all one big piece, so you do not need tape!
Yes, it is just the coolest thing!
We have one that I was able to use for Christmas gifts.  Then, once I wrapped and the box became empty, I was able to fold it for now until I find what I wan to put in there next!
The other box has books in there!  I am thinking that I will be putting Broxtons clothes I am keeping in one...  (Moms that keep hand me downs, this would be great, as you could store the clothes and then just change the size written when you change sizes in the box!)

The packaways come in colors like pink, blue, green and white..
They also have more than one size... so, if you are only needing a 12 gallon, you are good to go, but if you need a 21 gallon, they have you covered!

Packaways also come in Tote boxes and also ones that go under the bed!

Make sure to follow Packaways on Facebook.
