Disney Baby by @DailyRenewal

Image
No matter if you are a first time mom or an experienced mom of more than one.. Chances are, you like names you can trust.  From baby products to items for the house. When I saw that there was a product line called Disney Baby, I knew it would be great... I mean, it was associated with the Disney name, right?! We were sent the Disney Baby Shampoo. It was such a sweet and subtle smell!   We have been using it and Broxton's hair is so clean and soft...  Not to mention it smells great!  It is not an overpowering smell, but it does stay around for a bit...  There is nothing sweeter than him climbing into my lap and me leaning to kiss his head, only to catch a whiff of his clean and fresh hair.  As I said, it is not overpowering and you can not smell it if he runs by, but you can smell it if you lean down to love on him...  As we know, bath time is fun for him... I am happy knowing that this not only smells good, but ...

Let's Get Ready to Rumble!!! Costume Supercenter Review

Image
It is almost time for Halloween! That being said, have you decided what you are going to be this year? I used to dress up when I worked, but I didn't dress up last year. Last year, Broxton went as Elvis... I loved it and so did the few people that saw him. This year, we wanted something more like his personality... After looking and looking, we thought that the Lil Champ Costume was perfect! If you have visited here before, you might have seen the photo's of Broxton and daddy play boxing. It is their father / son bonding time and I love to watch the two of them! Broxton with his "mean face." So, do you see why we decided to go with this? I started my search looking for sports costumes for kids . As soon as I saw it, I knew it was meant to be!!!! This really is cute, as it seems to cover it all! You get the muscle suit with the boxing shorts... It also comes with a "champion" belt (very lightweight, so no need to worry!)...

Have your Little One In Style - @Babiators Review

Image
With summer eventually going to end... We need to remember that wearing sunglasses is not only great for the pool, but also for any outdoor activities. (Hey! College Football starts THIS SATURDAY and last I checked, they played outdoors!) Did you know that a child's eye lets in 70% MORE light to the retina than an adults?! Wow, just think how the sun gets bright and you need your sunglasses when out and about... Did you ever think about your "back seat driver" needing them as well? I never did, at least not in that aspect!!! Lucky for Broxton , I received an email telling me about this... Babiators are awesome! They are BPA free, so no need to worry once they head to the mouth, as we all know they will eventually be there at some point!!! I heard they were virtually indestructible. That cracks me up!! As soon as they arrived, Broxton wanted to check them out. Marc was quick to say, no that he might break them if he was holding them in the house... I told hi...

Only Two Minutes? @TwoothTimer #Giveaway

Image
Do you brush your teeth for two minutes? Did you know that is how long you should? I never really gave it much thought, until I read about the Twooth Timer ! Talk about a great idea for those learning to brush their teeth, as well as those that are needing a friendly reminder about how long they need to be doing it! The Twooth Timer is a timer that is in the shape of a tooth. It goes for two minutes (the recommended time) and then a loud buzz goes off! Once the Twooth Timer arrived, I wanted to know how I was doing in the whole scheme of things. I actually wasn't too bad! The first time, I went way over... I am not sure if it was because I was trying to make sure I "beat the clock" or if I just brush for a long time... Then, another time, I brushed for not as long. Hey, I am just being honest! Broxton loves to turn it on. We normally do for two turns on him... The first time, he brushes them himself... Then, we turn it on and I brush them for him! It works and we are ...

Dandelion Earth Friendly Goods are Great for Toddlers! Review

Image
We try to make sure that Broxton not only eats good food, but also that he eats on great tableware. We have bought several different plates that have different characters on it... One or two uses later, the plate is all scratched up... Or there is this film like stuff peeling off of it. We all know that children's products are not always cheap either, so it really frustrates me when I have to throw items away that have only been used once or twice. Now, we have a tableware set that has really impressed me so far. Have you heard of Dandelion Earth Friendly Goods ? We were able to review several of their products... So far, so good! The first up, was the Infant Bowl and Spoon. Broxton has been using this for several items. I like that it is a BOWL that has a divider in it. We have used it for veggies on one side, dip on the other. We have also used it for different flavored ice cream! The next up was the Divided Plate. We actually took one home to leave at my parents house and the...

Ebeanstalk - Review

Image
I have discussed Ebeanstalk before. I love how the site makes it so easy for anyone and everyone to take a look around and see what all they have to offer! I also love that if you are one that does not have children, they can sort of help guide you. I remember when friends would invite me to their kids parties.. I would have NO CLUE what to get them.. I mean, yeah... they are turning 3, but what are three year old gifts ? With Ebeanstalk , you just search, Toys for a 3 YR old and it will help you out!!! I know that we have a friend that has a little boy that just turned one and another turning 4 or 5, isn't it horrible that I do not remember? Where does the time go? Well, I am all about buying books and toys and everything else, but I really think that I might have to go with books this time, as he has every toy imaginable! I was looking at Books on Eric Carle . You know, the Hungry Caterpillar Book? Well, he has more than just that one! He has several that I have never even hear...

What is an AWESOME birthday gift for a kid? WaterBlocks Review

Image
I saw an ad online that mentioned Water Blocks . Of course, I had to know what that was! So, I went on over to take a look. They are just one of the coolest toys that I think I have ever seen! Have you heard of Just-Think-Toys ? Do you have Water Blocks?! We now do! Broxton LOVES to get a bath. He loves water of any sort... (If you did not know that, you can always look at my pictures of him in the pool , I love them!) I just knew that if he were to have Water Blocks, that he would just have that much more fun! They arrived and Broxton was so excited! We had to get them out and play with them in the living room. We received the Super Set that Broxton just loves! The Super Set comes with 20 pieces which also includes a small ball. With the Super Set, you can build a little track for the ball to race down! So fun and yes, we have done this many many times!!!! Just look at the excitement on his face watching the ball! We also received the Seaport Set . Broxton loves it because it comes w...

Zippies - Just the Right Pal to Have Hanging Around

Image
When the boys come for the summer, you can only imagine the water bottles and sometimes drama that ensue's over who's drink is who. You see, all the water bottles look the same. I really do not like writing their names on the side, as it ends up getting on their hands... So, I was quite happy to hear about Zippies ID Labels ! Now, these are not just any label. Better than that, they can be placed on just about anything! You know how some labels are... They are stickers and you put them there and that is that... Well, why would you want to put one of those on a disposable water bottle? With Zippies , YOU CAN!!!! Let me tell you about Zippies ! They are just the cutest! Zippies are actually little plastic pieces. One one side, it is a cute character... On the other, a place for name and information. Of course, when we got them... Broxton thought they were toys! First of all, we had been at the doctor all morning, so he thought he had a stethoscope for the house... Then, I sho...

Image
I have never been a fan of feet... You can ask people that know me... I can not stand them, please keep them away from me! But, there is something about the feet of a baby. I love them, the cute little toes... The little feet that have yet to travel this crazy world... You get where I am going. Most of all, I love Broxton's feet! Although he is not technically a "Baby" anymore... He will always be MY BABY! I always crack up when Broxton grabs a pair of my socks... I used to wear the funky designed socks most of the time, so I still have some... Broxton will come in and hand me a pair asking to wear them. How can I say no? I don't... He wears them and I laugh... I was so happy to hear about kidssocks .com They not only have cute and fun socks... They also have plain white socks for when we are in shorts and tennis shoes... Frecklebox- Review and Giveaway

Image
I have been following several blogs for quite some time now. Not only do I blog and host giveaways, I also enter quite a few as well! There is one company that I have tried to win and I have just not been able to be the lucky one... Until NOW! I just LOVE personalized gifts , but I can not really justify buying one just because. I mean, yeah... I am excited that today is Monday and all, but that doesn't mean we are running out to celebrate! I was so excited to know that I would be getting to review an item from Frecklebox ! Yes! I know, I had planned on looking into getting Broxton something from them for Christmas, so I had my eyes on a particular item. If you think about it, Broxton is not a popular name that you will see already listed on the personalized gifts... Nope, I knew we would not be running to the store to grab something! Just what was it that I wanted so bad? The My Name Is... Personalized Book . This book is just too cute!!! Not only do you personalize it with thei...

Kidlandia - Review and Giveaway

Image
I am all about teaching Broxton things... We work on our numbers and colors... Shapes and everything else we can think of... I have heard that if you start with the basics of just showing them the states that they will learn them faster than other kids that are introduced to them later. When I heard about that, I immediately started looking for a way to introduce the states, without it really being a lesson. I was so happy when I found that Kidlandia sold maps of the USA as placemats ! To make it even better, you could personalize it with your little ones name!!! (As well as the fact that it even has a place to make a "holiday" with their birthday!) Of course, that was what I wanted to get!!! I was so happy to be able to review one for you, besides Broxton getting a great placemat .... One of you will win a gift code to get something for your household! Kidlandia has several different items that you can choose from... Puzzles, Placemats , Posters... Growth Charts, Gallery...

Zip Bin- Road and Rail- Review

Image
Broxton has plenty of toys... From stuffed animals, to balls... Trains and cars... Trains and cars are his favorite! He puts his cars on the train tracks... He races the trains with the cars... The one problem we have... Storage of all those train tracks! I like to keep them together, but once you open the pack, they no longer have their own "place." Until Zip Bins . We were able to review the Zip Bin Road and Rail . Can I just say... LOVE IT! Have you heard of these? Do you have kids? If so, you have got to get one/two or several! Let me tell you.. We picked the road and rail because of all of the toys... but, I think we need to get more. If anything, because it is storage... and another toy! Let me tell you about ours.. It is a bin that zips up into a box to close... That has a lid. That means perfect for storage. The Zip Bin Road and Rail opens up to have a little town on it... With roads and a rail road track. See how it holds a little of everything? So..... You store ...

W/W - Got the Haircut

Image
My last W/W post was dealing with Broxton needing a haircut... Well, he got one! His first haircut ever was from my hairstylist and dear friend, Ally... Well, once we moved back up here, we found this cute little place called Pigtails and Crewcuts . I blogged about it here . We went there a couple times, but then last December, we stopped by a supercuts / greatclips whatever it was called... It was out of convenience... WELL!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN! HORRIBLE! It was so short, we were worried he would not need another haircut until he was 10! So, when his hair was FINALLY ready to be cut, we went back to Pigtails and Crewcuts . LOVE.THAT.PLACE!

Feeding Buddy - Big Belly Banks - Review and Giveaway

Image
I am so excited, that I really do not know where to start... Let me start with how this came about... I was online and someone mentioned " Big Belly Banks ." Well, I had never heard of it, so of course, I had to stop and look them up. LET ME TELL YOU. These are just THE CUTEST banks that EVERY child needs! Yes, I said it! Every child needs one! :) These are not just some run of the mill bank, they are all handcrafted and AMERICAN MADE! (You know how I am about the AMERICAN MADE items!) Anywho ... I looked at each and every single one of them... Just thinking how much fun we would have with it... So, I emailed and John (the inventor) and we discussed sharing Big Belly Banks with you! Let me just say, how cool is it that he created these banks for his 5 children... Whoo , he must be tired, 5 kids... Wow... Moving along... These banks... They are wooden... ( I love that idea, wooden just seems more of a classic keepsake) They have the patented coin track. See, they are not just...
