We are a Marvel family here.  We love them -  all of them!  It is a joke that Thor is my boyfriend... Do you like pickles?  I do!  My kids do.  I don't know of many that don't, although I know there are some out there!  Back in my younger days, when I worked at the bar, we had a group of exchange students that came over from Poland.  They spoke about how over there, they did shots of vodka and chased it with pickles!  (Never heard of that one!)  When I turned 21, they gave me a bottle of Polish vodka and we all had to drink it and chase with pickles, I will never forget that!   Well, now I guess more people know about drinking and pickles, but did you know that pickle juice is also good for muscle cramps?  Yeah!  I have heard it before and more and more the older I get!  There is a product that would be great to have on hand for the athletes in your life!  You can buy bottles of pickle juice that have portions in there, perfect to throw in the athletic bag to have on hand. I will be the first to admit that I am the last one to know fashion... and all things "girly."  I don't wear much makeup - just weddings and events when I need to get dressed up.  I go for more casual than attention grabbing... but I do love perfume.  I have tried a few of those "clubs" but have had no luck.  Let me tell you this... I am not a fan of going and sniffing a ton of scents either...  Having said that... I DO NOT want to waste money on perfume and not like it.  I mean, that stuff is not cheap!  I bought one that I had to spray like half a bottle on me to even smell once.  not a fan.  So when I had the chance to check out Robert Piguet, I was excited.  What excited me the most was that they had a sampler set.  Again, you don't want to go buying something and not like it.  I did see they had a gardenia scent and I hate that it wasn't included in the sampler, but it is what it is!  I have tried a few of the scents ...

 To say that COVID changed things is an understatement.  Before COVID, we used to go to the movies and have a movie date at least once a month.  Sometimes it was just the kids and I, other times it was with the grandparents as well.  It was always a great day and the kids and I were always so excited.  Once COVID hit, things changed and we stayed indoors.  Movies were no longer a place to go and experience, but you better believe that when they announced we could watch a NEW DISNEY MOVIE at home (Yay, thanks for Disney Plus!) It just made sense to me.  We had snacks, we had drinks, we had the movie and the cold temps and the darkness... When Rock Dog came out, it was new to us and we had not heard much about it.  After watching, it was quick to see that it was going to be a favorite.  We like singing the songs and both kids will actually watch with no complaints.  It even had a place in the car to be put on when we went on longer road trips.  When I got the email that Rock Dog 2 was coming out, I was eager to see it.  I was so excited when it arrived and I wish I could have recorded the kids faces.  They were just as surprised as I was, as we had no clue there was even going to be a second one.  Unfortunately, it did not grab our attention like the first one did.  Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed it and are glad to have it in our library, but it wasn't as good as the first one. When the first Trolls movie came out, we were so excited.  We loved that movie and have so many toys/ coloring pictures/ memories singing the songs and quoting right along with the movie. We had planned on seeing Trolls World Tour in the theater... but COVID had other plans.  We have been planning to have a movie night to watch at home, but life has been a bit chaotic lately and we have yet to make the time to do that. We have been trying to be better at going to the movies to see all of these wonderful movies that keep being released.  Thing is, it gets rather expensive when you buy the tickets and then what movie watching is complete without drinks and snacks?!?  We had totally planned on going to see Dumbo, but the weekend we got there to get tickets, we realized it had already left the theaters!  I honestly don't know who was more excited to see it... If you have been around me before, you know that we have major issues with eczema at our house.  Broxton had it as a baby and outgrew it, thank goodness...but little miss Savannah?  Man, this girl has it rough!!!!  She has had a tough go with it off and on from when she was little.  It never really cleared up and was getting worse seeing her pediatrician, so I ended up taking her to a dermatologist because I thought it had to be something else if nothing was working.  Nope, it is eczema... she just has it REALLY bad and has SEVERE sensitive skin.  (Yes, we have changed detergents, watched food, used oils, tried a million different lotions and even had friends make different concoctions for her... nothing works.) We took her to an allergist when the dermatologist told us to do so and poor girl... she is allergic to everything (dirt, grass, trees, nuts, you name it) ...  Like, it would be best to have her in a bubble, but that is not fun... Hard to imagine Shimmer and Shine have their sixth DVD coming out... Savannah has loved Paw Patrol since the first time she watched it... As a kid, I loved the Goosebumps Books by R.L. Stine.  I was so excited when Broxton decided he wanted to watch the Goosebumps movie that was out with Jack Black in it.  We laughed and were spooked, so when we heard that Goosebumps 2 was headed our way, it was a given that we were going to watch it as well.  I will say that I do wish we would have seen Jack Black more in it than we did, but other than that... It was a great movie.  (So much that we had to have movie night a couple times with the same movie being watched!)
