I just know I can not be the only one who sees things on social media and wonders if it is legit or not... Right?  I also know I can't be the only one who wonders how some of the ads pop up on my Facebook... but that is for another day.  Anyways -  as I was scrolling on Facebook one day, an ad popped up for THE LOUD CUP.  I thought that was a pretty neat idea, but did not really think it would be that great at a loud football game.  Kept on scrolling, to be honest.  Then, it popped up on my Instagram.  and Facebook.  and Instagram again.  You get the picture.  At this point, curiosity was getting awful close to killing the cat, so yeah- I was giving this cup some thought. Broxton plays football - we love cheering him on, but let me be honest, I can only BE SO LOUD.  I went for it - I reached out to THE LOUD CUP to see if they might be interested in working together... and it got loud around here when our cups arrived!!!! Just a little post to give an update on how life has been.   First of all, I am going to be a grandma!!!! Remember how Marc has older boys than our two?  Well, the one that joined the Coast Guard called me back in the beginning of the year to let me know his girlfriend was pregnant!  She is due any day now, so my heart can't take it!  I keep waiting for a text with a picture of the newest baby to love!   Next - my baby brother, Ashton - well they had their baby at the end of last year.  He is a beautiful baby boy and I sure do love him!   Savannah has somewhat grown out of her UNICORN OBSESSION stage... She still love them, but where we h...

I have wanted to have Little Free Libraries around my hometown for a while now.  We finally had an old newspaper stand donated to us and that was the start.  We got it painted and then were lucky enough to have permission to place the library at our local ENT.  I wanted to share just SOME of the great books that are in the first (of hopefully several) libraries around here.  Perfect for the young sports fans!    FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. I am not sure if you are aware, but there is a football game being played this weekend that is sort of a big deal.  If you are not a football fan, you can still enjoy it because of all of the commercials sprinkled throughout the game.  I will be watching both the commercials and the game, what about you?  Some people go to the parties for neither the game nor the commercials, but they go for the spreads of food that many people have at their party.  What do you have planned to do for that fun Sunday event or is it just another day in your house? As I said, one main thing is all of the food that people do for the big game.  I remember back when I worked in a sports bar.  We had amazing ...

As much as I love reading books with Broxton, it is also fun to get the Sports Illustrated for Kids Books that has fun information.  These books are not only fun for Broxton to learn cool sports facts, it is also fun for us to read and the boys enjoy them as well.  When the Big Book of Who All-Stars book showed up, I was eager to see how much Sports Knowledge the guys in my life knew... This book says " THE 101 ATHLETES EVER FAN NEEDS TO KNOW." The contents inside?   Baseball, Basketball, Football, Golf, Hockey, Olympics, Racing, Soccer, Tennis and Xtreme. Up first?  I flipped over to GOLF and called up my brother to see if he knew all the answers.... A sample question: "Who is the golfer with t...

What is better than football?  How about football AND Charlie Brown!   We were sent the DVD   Touchdown Charlie Brown   for review and as soon as Broxton saw the case, he immediately had to yell out "FOOTBALL!"  followed by "Charlie Brown!"  finally followed up with " I want to watch that NOW, mom!" Of course, I put it on and we laughed and had a great time enjoying a classic such as Snoopy and the gang!  "Take to the filed as Peanuts score another all-new collection of hits.  It's the big homecoming game and Charlie Brown is in the spotlight at team kicker.  If that wasn't enough, he is also an escort for the homecoming queen and her court.  But w...

In the past, we have done football teams (UGA and LSU) but then I decided that I wanted to try and capture something a bit more personal for them.  Something to define that year for them...  The plan is to give them these ornaments when they get married... You know, a way to start their family tree without it being naked! Until then, it gives us something to look back on and reminisce. This year, it was a bit hard to decide what I wanted to do... (and let me be honest, I am not going to tell you what I decided on, since I don't want them to see before they unwrap it!) I was torn... With so many options, what was I sup...

Lil' Teammates impressed me when they released Teeny Mates...  Now, they have done it again with the Teeny Mates NHL line, NFL Series 2 and the TagALongs!!! Just what does that mean? It means it is time to ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION!!!! I wanted to do them as a collection for Broxton. But then, they arrived and he LOVES playing with them!!!
