We recently watched Disney's Cinderella and I absolutely loved it.  The movie was great (maybe I don't remember much of the story, so I was hooked from the start.)  Another great thing I enjoyed about the movie?  Their costumes!   The dresses they wore were absolutely beautiful, well, minus the step sisters!  Check out this clip:

I was so excited when I was given the chance to review the Blu-Ray when it was released.   I started the movie while he was busy playing with his Army Men and Trains...  Something he heard caught his attention, so he started popping his head in from time to time to see what was going on.  Saying this to let you know that it might not be just a "princess story" and that kids of all ages could enjoy it. One reason I wanted to see the movie was because, hello, it was Cinderella! The other reason

If you are looking for a new movie to watch for movie night (note, not family movie) then you want to look at Spy starring Melissa McCarthy, Jason Statham, Rose Byrne and Jude Law.  We were lucky enough to get to watch it for a Girls Night in not too long ago.  I will go ahead and warn you that the "theatrical version" still has plenty of profanity.  (There is also an "unedited version" that is available, if you choose to watch it.)    As soon as it started, we were cracking up laughing, you can pretty much expect it from Melissa McCarthy, so I was ready for it!   The movie is full of excitement (and laughs) from the start, so I do recommend adults watch it when you have a night free of the childre

If you know my husband, you know his favorite holiday is Halloween.  As long as I have known him, that has been the ultimate for him.  He gets so excited when he is able to be off of work to take Broxton trick or treating and I know Broxton enjoys that time with his daddy.  This year, Broxton started early on what he wanted to be.  Thanks to Costume Supercenter , we had a great time looking at all the costumes that were available.  He had many choices, but not all were things that I thought was age appropriate, so it took a bit longer than we had planned.   We looked at things that we thought would be cute for him to go for Halloween, not only trick or treating in the neighborhood, but also at the local church function

All opinions are mine alone. #ReadySetSnack #CollectiveBias As soon as it gets close to back to school time, I immediately start trying to think of ways to make Broxton's lunch exciting.  One main problem we have?  He gets too excited at lunch and wants to talk more than eat.  He has let me know that sandwiches don't taste that great at school, but he loves them at home.  I try and mix it up so that he doesn't get bored with what I pack, but I will be honest, I try to stay away from sweets and what not. He tried to get me to pack him pieces of cake or cupcakes once Savannah was born and we had people spoiling us bringing treats all the time. Well, he was excited when he was surprised with a Hershey's Smores Pudding Cup in his lunch recently!   Have you tried them yet???? Can you see the Hershey's Pudding?  I had a hard time finding it because to be honest with you, I thought it would
