Ever since Broxton saw the previews for Russell Madness, he has been asking when we would see it.  I was excited when it showed up, as I knew it was going to be a great movie night!  Broxton was so excited that we could not wait for night and we popped popcorn and had a movie day to watch it.  The fact that the monkey is the monkey from Night of the Museum had Broxton thrilled, but I was secretly excited to see the monkey (from the Hangover) and to hear the voice of the dog, since he was voiced by the kid that plays Adam on The Goldbergs!
The movie was a good one, great family entertainment!  We meet a family that inherits the old family wrestling arena that has seen better days... only stipulation is that they have to make a profit in the first year...   Watch and see what all happens!  I will say, Broxton enjoyed it so much he has already requested that he and daddy have a movie night next time dad is off and can watch it with him!

Synopsis
RUSSELL MADNESS tells the story of Russell, an undersized but big-hearted terrier who dreams of having a family of his own. After running away from his pet store, Russell gets taken in by The Ferraros, a family desperate to revive their grandfather’s pro wrestling arena. That’s when they discover their new pet pooch has incredible wrestling skills. With help from his coach, Hunk, a savvy and hilarious monkey, Russell rockets to the top of the pro wrestling world and becomes a famous sports superstar. But when a dishonest promoter double-crosses the Ferraros, Russell will face his biggest challenge and discover that the strongest tag team is family.  RUSSELL MADNESS is rated ‘PG’ by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA).

When Broxton was younger, he was totally obsessed with Jake and the Neverland Pirates, to the point that he went as Jake for Halloween one year.  We have several Jake books in our library and thanks to a new set of board books being released on March 31st, we have more to add now!

Although Doc McStuffins is a female main character, Broxton still enjoys for me to read the Doc books to him.  I think it is because he enjoys seeing Doc taking care of all the stuffed animals, because he likes to do that as well.  I love the books because it shows how to love and care for your toys!
We were sent the new box set of board books featuring our favorite little Doc, Doc McStuffins!  (This set will be available for purchase March 31st.)  In this set, we have 4 books that feature Doc and the gang.

Doc McStuffins - Doc on Call has 4 books inside a cute little carry case.
The books included are:
Stuffy the Brave- In this book, Stuffy talks about loving to go on adventures and he is brave... but Doc points out that being Brave means knowing when you need help.  In the end, Stuffy tells everyone to call him Stuffy the Brave.  (This was Broxton's favorite.)
Hooray for Cuddles - In this one, we see just how close Lambie and Doc are... and that cuddles are great for keeping people from being worried, or sad... and that in the end Cuddles are the best medicine!
The Doc at Work - This book lets us see Doc working and how she records everything in her big book of boo-boos!
Help is on the Way - The final book has us watching Doc work on all of her toys, but also shows her mobile clinic and how she takes care of the neighborhood toys too!

We enjoyed all the books and quite honestly, I loved that they were so short.  I think each book was like 10 pages total.  Perfect for little ones that would be reading board books!   Broxton was hoping that each book was a sequel of the book we had just finished, but he did enjoy seeing what all Doc was up to!

If you know us at all, you know that we have been wrestling fans off and on for all of my life. Broxton has been to several wrestling events and enjoys watching them live and on TV. When I saw that The Flintstones were teaming up with WWE, I knew this was going to be a DVD that Broxton was going to love.
Little did I know when I surprised him with the DVD that he already knew about it.  He handed it to me and said "Let's Yabba Dabba Doo this!  Let's watch it now!"  So we did!
I am not sure what I thought it was going to be, but it had the wrestling super stars as just regular people as it started, then they started wrestling.  Of course, the "mastermind" behind it all was Fred, with Barney pulling for him NOT to get involved with the crazy hijinks!
If you are a fan of wrestling or a fan of The Flintstones, you will enjoy this!  You get to see several of the wrestlers you like and get to cheer on Barney and Fred!

Get ready for some raw-kin’ action in this all-new, original movie that brings some of WWE’s toughest, wildest superstars to Bedrock! When Fred loses his family’s vacation money, he hatches one of his hair brained plans to get it back. It’s a sports entertainment spectacle that involves throwing his best bud, Barney into the wrestling ring with the likes of John Cenastone (John Cena), Rey Mysteriopal (Rey Mysterio) and even The Undertaker, with Fred himself as event promoter! The crowds roar, the “clams” are pouring in from ticket sales and even Mr. McMagma (Vince McMahon) is taking notice of all the hoopla. Can Fred keep serving up bigger and badder matches or is he in for the rocky ride of his life? Including all-star appearances from The Boulder Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) Marble Henry (Mark Henry) and Daniel Bry-Rock (Daniel Bryan), it’s time to get the whole family together for a collection of hard-hitting, side-splitting laughs from the most epic event in all of prehistory!
A still from the Movie
