#HolidayGiftGuide - @BronnersXmas Beautiful Ornaments

When I was younger, my mom used to give my brother and I Christmas ornaments... My grandmother gave me quite a few as well through the years... Then, when I had my own tree, I actually had a couple to put on..
So, when Marc and I got married, I knew that was something I wanted to do for the boys. It would be nice... Have the different ornaments on our tree, but as they married, give them all of their ornaments through the years to add to their tree... I wanted them to be personal and just for them... One year they got UGA/LSU ones...
This year, I found a really cool website that is "The World's Largest Christmas Store." I did not dare to venture to their other products, as I was just looking at the ornaments...

With all the ornaments, I was in heaven!
I knew if I started looking elsewhere, I would be in trouble...
They have it all!
Just click on Christmas Ornaments and you see it:

#HolidayGiftGuide - I See Me Book

When looking for a great Christmas gift this year, think of a personalized book!
We were able to review the "I See Me" line's Christmas book...
"Broxton's Very Merry Christmas" was a huge hit for him!
When we received it, I went ahead and gave it to him.
We read the pages and he loved seeing (and hearing) his name throughout the book. I love that it has his name on the front of the book, as well as the binding!!!! I have noticed with some books, they just don't write anything on the binding, this works great for his bookshelf!
Another plus?
You can inscribe it with whatever you want it to say... Whenever I give a book as a gift, I ALWAYS write inside it to the recipient.
As we flipped the pages, it was created just for him... With a note to Santa from one of the birds... If you want to look through the book before purchasing it, you can even visit the I SEE ME website and click on the I See Me Very Merry Christmas Virtual Tour Link!!!!
Broxton loved the book so muc…

#HolidayGiftGuide - Thymes

Do you enjoy a nice relaxing bubble bath? A wonderfully scented room? Do certain smells take you to another time?
I was so happy to get the chance to review a couple of products from Thymes. I will be honest, since having Broxton... I don't really get to enjoy nice hot bubble baths as often as I once did... I still enjoy them from time to time, but they are more of a treat now than I ever thought they could be. While thinking about great holiday gift idea's ... I thought about Thymes. The packaging is so nice and elegant to me. Not to mention the different scents they carry. It just seemed like a win win situation!

If you are looking for a stocking stuffer idea, they have several products that would be perfect!
Also, if you are looking to make a beautiful gift set, they have you covered on that too!!!

Look who is back for Aloha Friday ~ What?

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Linking up with Kailani....
My question this week: Do you eat Ambrosia Salad? If so... Do you have a recipe you would like to share?
My answer: My husband wants it... but I don't know how to make it, of course I have looked online, but there are so many different ones... I would like a recipe that someone has tried and likes... ha ha ha.. Thanks so much! Have a great weekend!!!!

#HolidayGiftGuide - Celestial Seasonings

Are you a fan of hot tea?I love it! Nothing better than a nice mug of hot tea during the cold months....

Being a South Georgia girl, I was raised on Sweet Tea... Let me tell you a secret. I sometimes make a nice big pitcher of Celestial Seasonings Peppermint Tea... And yes, drink it cold over ice... WHooooHooo...
I got to thinking about great products and I was lucky enough to get to tell you about Celestial Seasoning today... With the cooler temps heading our way, it would be nice to have this on hand. Not everyone is a fan of coffee, so this would be great to have for unexpected guests... Not just unexpected, but think about offering it after dinner... Or before going out to build a snowman... Or to just enjoy reading a book by the fire... I can go on and on with different scenarios for you. Also, it would be a great gift idea. Just get a couple different flavors and make a nice gift basket. Give it to the tea lover you know. Or make a gift basket to give as a hostess gift. College …

#HolidayGiftGuide - English Idioms and Expressions For Everyone

I was thinking about how hard it must be to be a foreign exchange student here... The language can be a bit difficult. Think about how many words have different meanings/spellings... Not to mention how things are interpreted.
With the book "English Idioms and Expressions For Everyone, Yes, Even You!" you can read and see just how difficult it might be. Besides seeing how difficult it is to learn English, you can also learn a bit as well!
Take for example: "Butterflies in stomach" - We all know that it doesn't literally mean "butterflies IN stomach" but to someone learning, they might be confused... This book explains: A sign of being nervous.
Why I like this book: It gives you the saying on the left.... Then, on the right, it gives you the "definition" of it. They also use it in a sentence for you. Sometimes, they include "also" or "compare" for better explanation.
They even try to keep it clean. If the need for a profane word is t…

#HolidayGiftGuide - On The Go Time #bookreview

I have reviewed books by Elizabeth Verdick in the Toddler Tools Series before and this one is perfect for my holiday gift guide. The book I am referring to? On The Go Time by Elizabeth Verdick.
With so much to do, there is bound to be a time or two when you have to load your little one up to go run errands... Be it to the store for a holiday meal or to buy gifts...
I really liked this book. As with all the books in this series, it is a board book. Also, it is as vibrantly illustrated and simply written so that kids of all ages understand. Let me tell you about this book:
"What comes before Go? We know... Get Ready! Get Set!"
Then... the book explores all the places you GO.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED that it started with Go to the Potty before you leave. We work on this with Broxton all the time!!!! It also goes through getting ready to go... Then, another great part? When the little ones start wanting anything and everything... (and are told no) It reminds them to take breaths and calm dow…

A NON TOUCH Thermometer? Vera Temp Review

With the weather changing, you know that means we will get a cold or two in this household... I hate that, but it has always happened, each and every year, for as long as I can remember. I heard about the Kidz-Med Vera Temp Thermometer and I was eager to review it. Have you heard of Vera Temp? The NON TOUCH thermometer...

We received it in the mail and I immediately took it out for play, I mean... REVIEW.
It is a NON TOUCH thermometer. Not to mention, it doesn't just take the temperature of humans... You can also take the temperature of other things! I took Broxton's temperature... Then, I got to experiment... I took the temperature of the room, of the light bulb, of our drinks... See where I got a bit excited?
This would be a great baby shower gift!
You are not only giving them a thermometer to take care of their new bundle of joy from being sick... You are also giving them a thermometer to test the temperature of the bathwater... a thermometer to test the babies room... a thermo…
