I know a book that we will for sure be reading more and more closer to summer time.  Fobie Friends - Hold Your Seahorses!  Water is the WORST!   You see, this book follows a little girl that loves the beach... but doesn't want to go anywhere near the water.... This is Broxton if I have ever seen it.  He LOVES the pool... and LOVES baths... but there is something about the ocean that he HATES.  The one time we took him to the beach, he had a blast, playing in the sand the whole time.. but as soon as we took him near the water, it was a nightmare and he did not like it one bit...  Hopefully reading this book to him several times will get him to realize it really is a fun time!!!

Hold Your Seahorses!  Water is the WORST! is our third book and is available in hardback. A day in the sun and sand is supposed to be fun, but not when it includes touching the water! A little girl is overcome with anxiety when her mom insists she “try again” to get wet in the ocean. Launched into her imagination, she is greeted by a small, wise friend who takes her on a wild ride under the sea! Comforted by her new friend, the little girl decides that the water can be a fun and exciting place!

Afraid Of Heights? Climb the Monkey Bars? That's Bananas!! @fobiefriends #facefears

The second book that we were able to read from Fobie Friends was Climb the Monkey Bars?  That's Bananas!!  I was happy for this one, as I wanted to make sure Broxton is not afraid of heights... You see, I am not afraid of heights, but I am TERRIFIED of falling... so, most times, I will not climb and do things for my fear... I don't want Broxton to ever be held back, so this was a great one for him to read!   He loved it and as with the other Fobie Book, he loved the rhyming and excitement through it all.  Another thing I loved about this?  The main character is with his Papa on this one... (not the typical mom or dad that are in so many of the books!)

Climb the Monkey Bars? That's Bananas!  is our second book and is also available in hardback. Here, our young boy faces his fears on the playground. Excited to play on a new jungle gym, he tearfully changes directions when his Papa encourages him to climb a ladder so he may join friends on the monkey bars. When his imagination tosses him into a wild place, a gentle, furry friend coaches the new climber through his first success with high places.

Little One Afraid of the Dark? Read - Did My Owl Just Growl from @FobieFriends #FaceFears

Broxton has never really been "scared" of anything too terribly much... But, for some reason, once we bought this house, he started showing a few fears.  I know some of it has to do with the fact that he has big brothers being typical big brothers... but then other fears are just that of young children.  I am not overly concerned, but I did think it was absolutely awesome that we were sent a few books that show that many people are scared of many different things.
The first book for us - Did My Owl Just Growl.  I wanted to read it first, since it was a funny title and I wanted to see what the owl was going to do... (I had no clue at the time that it was the first book in this series!)    Broxton and I loved Did My Owl Just Growl and the story behind it...
First of all, let me tell you... The rhyming of it all makes you really get into the reading and I know that with it being a rhyming book, it will be great to work with Broxton as he learns to read...
But moving along, in this particular book.... the main character is a kid that is scared of the dark.  As his mom tells him good night, the night comes to life with all the things he is scared of... and then we meet the owl that helps him face his fears!!!     Broxton and I both really enjoyed this book and have actually read it a few different times getting ready to go to bed!!!

Fobie Friends - Did My Owl Just Growl?  is our first book and is now available in hardback. The turmoil begins the moment the lights go out. Our frightened young boy is in his bedroom tucked in for the night, but he is confronted with eerie sounds and creepy shadows that send his imagination soaring into the spooky, dark woods! Fortunately, an unexpected friend guides him through his adventure.

Is your little one Afraid of the Dark??

With all of this crazy weather, you don't know if you are going outside to enjoy a beautiful day or if you need to plan a day inside snuggling up and enjoying a couple movies.  Having said that, I wanted to share a couple movies that showed up in the mail.  I will be posting reviews later, just wanted to share in case you were looking for a movie to watch.

A Chorus Line
A group of dancers congregate on the stage of a Broadway theater to audition for a new musical. After the initial eliminations, 16 hopefuls remain. As the film unfolds, the backstory of each of the dancers is revealed. Some are funny, some ironic, some heartbreaking. No matter what their background, however, they all have one thing in common - a passion for dance.

Did you know that MGM was releasing classics now?
Have you seen A Chorus Line before?

Remember when I told you that we went to LegoLand Discovery Center?
Well...  I also told you that I was going to share with you the photos of the Star Wars characters that Broxton met...

He was excited to meet Darth Maul...
This is one of the LDC staff.  But check out that light saber!!!

Then, he met the Jedi's and he loved seeing them and their light sabers!!!

All of a sudden, Storm Troopers entered the place!!!  He was THRILLED to see them, since he was a Storm Trooper for Halloween!!!

There were a couple of different ones, but don't ask me.. I have NO Star Wars Knowledge!
But, I do know that we spotted 2 of them riding on one of the rides!!!  Broxton thought it was hilarious... but you better believe that he had to tell Darth Vader about it when he saw him!

He was also pretty excited to see Boba Fett... He did have his daddy make a Boba Fett pumpkin for Halloween, so I did know who that was!!!

While playing in the racing area of LDC, Broxton spotted Chewy and had to go and show off the car he made... Broxton was thrilled that Chewy stopped to check it out ... and a bit later when Broxton was up there racing it, guess what... Chewy was behind him watching!!!!

The BEST part of it all?  Seeing Darth Vader.  Broxton will tell you that Darth Vader is his absolute favorite and when he was there... oh my goodness... Broxton had to tell him about the Storm Troopers riding the ride.  He had to tell him about how he dressed up as a Storm Trooper for Halloween... and of course he had to show off his Star Wars shoes that have light sabers on them that light up!!!

We had a great time and I would say it was a total success!
Thanks to Legoland Discovery Center for the chance to come check it out...
Also- thanks to the GA 501st for volunteering their time to be there!!!

Side note - if you plan to go to Star Wars days (I believe they have another one in the works for later this year...)  I would totally call before purchasing tickets... The day we went, the characters had already left... but luckily we were able to go the next day.. and get these great pictures...  I would just call to confirm that they will be there when you are planning your trip.

Are you a fan of Peanut Butter?  If you are, you need to read this and prepare for your tastebuds to be blown away!!!   We were sent a pretty awesome ( if I do say so myself) supply of Peanut Butter.  Have you heard of PB Crave?  It is so much more than just peanut butter...  It is premium peanut butter that has added extra goodness!  PB Crave has 4 flavors sure to make your tastebuds beg for more...

Coco Bananas, Razzle Dazzle, Cookie Nookie, and  Choco Choco.

I love Peanut Butter and banana sandwiches, but we don't always have bananas on hand... With PB Crave, that taste is only a couple steps away in the pantry!!!
I recently learned that my brother was a huge PB&J fan.... and of course that meant I wanted him to try it out...  (This was when we FIRST got it...)
Well, I opened it and he made a sandwich... but he was not really impressed...
He thought it was okay... and that it only had a very slight flavor of the added twist...
He left and then I decided to make my sandwich...
Yeah, we did not mix it up...  and once I did... It was GREAT!!!!
I love the cookie nookie as my favorite....

But Broxton???  He is all about the Choco Choco!!!
(He will not normally eat Peanut Butter sandwiches if I make them, but if I make him a sandwich with the choco choco, he loves it!!!!

I wanted to not only share with you an awesome tasting product, but I also wanted to share with you that THIS FRIDAY is National Peanut Butter Day!!
Being from South Georgia and knowing that my grandad was a former peanut farmer...

Valentines Idea? Love You More Than Anything

Just in time for Valentines - or for any day you want to show you love someone...
Love You More Than Anything by Anna Harber Freeman is a cute book.

I read it to Broxton... but I am also going to "give" it to Marc as well....
You might wonder why I would gift my husband a "childrens book"  and to be honest, it is because it is a book about love!!!   On most days, Marc and I will tell each other we love the other "more than" and then name something... So this book totally fits us!!!!

Each 2 page layout has a cute scene (oh yeah, as soon as I told Broxton the title, and showed him the book, he said it was the two of us on the cover!  I LOVE THIS KID!)   with different ways that they love MORE THAN...
Such as :
One page spread has - Giggle, wiggle, jump and run.  (and shows the family headed to the playground and a bunch of other kids there.)
Then, the next page spread has - Love you more than playground fun!

I really enjoyed the rhyming of the book.. and the ways they love more than.
If you are looking for a great book to share your love...
This is a great one to get!!!

In working with Zim's Products in the past, I was given the chance to work with them in the new release of their latest products...  The Arnica Zim's Max and the Zim's Advanced Gel.  I was eager to try the Arnica Max Gel as Marc had bruised his leg and I wanted to see if it would help him.  As soon as I applied it, he immediately said he felt a bit of relief.
I have actually been able to use one of the products on Broxton.  His eczema started to flare and I applied it to him at night before bed... as he always does, he fought me to put it on him... but once it was on, he was fine and did not seem to be bothered by it.   We have really enjoyed being able to use Natural products without worrying about what all chemicals we are putting on our skin!!!

Zim's Arnica Max is specially formulated with Arnica for the temporary relief of minor aches and pains of muscles and joints associated with simple backaches, arthritis, strains, bruises and sprains.

Zim's Advanced Gel Acemannan and Arnica is used as a protectant for minor cuts, scrapes, abrasions and burns. This product contains Acemannan, nature's purest form of Aloe Vera.

From their press release:
Zim's Advanced with Hydrocortisone is the latest in naturally-based first aid products that help with a host of skin care issues including rashes, insect bites, eczema and psoriasis. The Zim's Advanced Gel with Acemannan can help treat cuts, scrapes, abrasions and burns.
Zim's Advanced Gel with Acemannan will be available in a 3-oz. version and Zim's Advanced with Hydrocortisone will be available in a 3-oz. cream form as well as a 3.25-oz. continuous spray.

"We are not just about cracked skin anymore,'' said Perfecta Products, Inc. Director of Marketing & Sales Mark Smith."Our new Zim's Advanced items are designed to meet consumers' request for more natural-based products. We have combined science and nature to create superior products."
In addition to Zim's Advanced, Perfecta Products will also release Zim's Arnica Max. Zim's Arnica Max includes a proprietary blend of Arnica and Aloe Vera which includes organic Aloe, natural Menthol and Arnica. It will be available in 4-oz. gel and 3-oz. roll-on.
Arnica is one of the most popular homeopathic medicines and used by many athletes and weekend warriors worldwide.
"Perfecta Products has been a leader in the use of arnica and other natural products in the topical analgesics category. We have been using it in our products for more than 60 years," said Smith. "We felt it was important to bring out a new product specially formulated using maximum arnica to provide temporary relief of minor aches and pains of muscle and joints associated with simple backache, arthritis, strains, bruises and sprains.''
