I received product samples as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.” When you think you are pregnant, you immediately rush to the store to purchase a home pregnancy test.  Well, at least that is what happens in our house when this happens.  I normally try and buy more than one, as I need to be 100 % sure in the outcome. There are many tests out there and you can pretty much buy them anywhere.  You want to make sure it is a name you can trust, so look for the pink and white box that says First Response on it.  When we first thought we were pregnant with Broxton, I don't know how many tests we

Broxton has been talking about the fact that he wants to go fishing.  I hate it for him, but I am just not one to go fishing, so that is going to have to wait. Lucky for him, we were sent a Little Tike Fish 'n Splash Water Table for review.  I know it says ages 2 and older, so it is a bit on the "baby side" but I will tell you this.. Give a kid some water to play with in the Georgia Summer and they will find a way to have fun!    The original plan was to take it to give to a friend of ours that has younger children, but Broxton wanted to at least try it out. He got out there and was laughing and giggling and having such a good time. His sweet self even started talking about how next year he was go

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation .   Ever since we found out we were pregnant, Broxton has been concerned that the baby would not have enough toys to play with.  Every time he goes into a store, he wants to buy a toy of some sort for her.  We have been lucky to only have him buy her 2 at this time, but I know more are in store.  I learned with Broxton that there are many extra items that we purchased and did not need... Well, I don't want to make the same mistake this time around.  I want to purchase things that are beneficial.  One thing?  Beary Rumples from  Rumple Buddies .   Beary Rumples is just one of the products available from Rumple Buddies.  I love that they not only send you the Rumple Buddies toy, you also get a book to go along w

We have been lucky enough to review Curious Critters Volume One and Curious Critters Volume Two in the past....  Now, we have the third volume, Curious Critters Marine  by David FitzSimmons.  Broxton was excited to get this book and I absolutely love all of the photos throughout the book!  Read more about it:   FitzSimmons is at the forefront of environmental education. He produces exquisitely-detailed, up-close photography of amazing animals that inhabit the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, as well as the Gulf of Mexico. Through stunning photography, children go face-to-face with animals ranging from a spectacular spoonbill to an incredible blue lobster, from a tufted puffin to an upside-down jellyfish, and from

Little did I know that this was going to start the whole DVD off with showing us how to make bowling balls (so we were both interested in watching it!  He even quit playing with his toys to come sit and give his whole undivided attention!)   The four episodes / books included on this DVD are as follows: “ If You Give a Mouse a Cookie ” – Reader: Beth Howland One thing leads to another in this episode, with LeVar in a bowling alley, showing how certain actions lead to consequ
