Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. This Morning Sam Went to Mars   tells the story of eight-year-old Sam, who is always daydreaming about exploring space and the deepest seas, which is awesome—except when he’s supposed to be focusing on homework or in class. It seems like all he hears is, “Focus, Sam!” and “Pay attention!” The doctor says Sam is lucky: He has a very powerful brain! But he does need some help focusing. She gives Sam and his dad lots of strategies to try, like staying organized, eating better food, and asking for help when he needs it. Sam’s favorite strategy? Make time to exercise his imagination! Did You Pump?

*  This is not a sponsored post.  I just know that as a mom (that tried to breastfeed and pump)  I would have loved to have had more information out there for me.... So, without further ado... Let me tell you about the Evenflo Breast Pump:  This liquid gold (Breast Milk)  is one of nature’s purest forms of nourishment; however, the way a mom expresses her milk during pumping could affect its purity. To prevent contamination, moms are advised not to share or buy used pumps, and to avoid ‘open system’ pump where there is no barrier between the milk collection bottle and the pumping mechanism. In these open systems, breast milk can be exposed to the air and bacteria, and can actually backup into the tubing and pump – areas that are difficult to clean and can become a breeding ground for bacteria, mold and viruses. Instead, moms looking to buy a breast pump should invest in a closed-system like the high-quality, yet affordable, Advanced Double Electric B...

First Practice of the Season W/W

Broxton decided that he wanted to play Soccer...  So, we signed him up...  When I was growing up, all the kids did t-ball and football... soccer wasn't a typical sport...   (Not that I know of)   Anyways, now, it seems like soccer is "the" sport for little ones to play...  I am fine with it, as it lets them run and be active, not to mention work together as a team.   Here is Broxton ready for his first soccer practice.   Of course, he had a blast...  What made it even more awesome was that my brother surprised him and came to watch a few minutes of his second practice... When Broxton kicked the ball in the goal, he had to look over to make sure Ashton had seen it... I thought that was so super sweet!!! Just look at this face... I love it!!!!!!!!!! What sports are big ones for little kids where you live?
