I believe that Broxton and I might have watched Timmy Time once before..Don't quote me on that, but I think that is about right.
We received the Timmy Time DVD that is scheduled for release September 20th and of course, i wanted to see what it was.
We have seen the advertisements, but I wanted to watch it all. So, Broxton snuggled up with me in the chair and we put it on.
Okay, so there is no talking...
I actually was annoyed by it at first, un…

#WIN Breaking the Press DVD #giveaway

This looks like a great movie!!!
Especially one for a family movie night.

Win a Copy of Breaking the Press, Available on Sept. 20A young man loses his way but through the power of his family’s prayers finds the path to redemption and rediscovers the love of his father in BREAKING THE PRESS, on DVD September 20 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.A recent recipient of the Dove Foundation’s ‘Family-Approved’ seal for all audiences over the age of twelve, this inspiring Biblical parable stars Drew Waters (“Friday Night Lights”) as Joe Conahey, a small-town high school basketball coach whose Christian faith is tested by an unsuccessful season and the intense pressure that results. The family’s two star sons—the older, diligently hardworking brother Matt (Chad Halbrook, Brotherhood) and the younger, naturally-gifted Josh (Tom Maden, “According to Jim”)—are separated when Josh selfishly transfers to a powerhouse school hundreds of miles away. Aloha Friday - Is it to early?

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.
My question this week: Is it to early to start thinking about Christmas Shopping?
My answer: Not for me, I am already planning my Holiday Gift Guide, with reviews and giveaways! Kicks off October 1st :)

@KidfreshFoods is making meals easier here: #kidfresh #giveaway

I am not the best of cooks by any means, so when I can find something healthy and easy for Broxton, you know I want to try it! I was lucky enough to be part of the blog tour Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Kidfresh. We were told that the Kidfresh Products were at our local Publix, so we headed there to see, sure enough, right there in the frozen food aisle!
You can check out their store locator to see where you can purchase.
I bought one of each variety that they carried. (I was a bit disappointed, as they only carried 3 of the 6 different meals. I even looked to make sure that they were hopefully just out, but there was no space for it, or a label.) Either way, I grabbed them and brought them home...
Here is what we bought:
If you look, you can see Broxton pointing that he wants to try the Mac - +- Cheese . I had to give it a try as well. I loved it and Broxton gobbled it right up!
It was very good with real cheese, not just some cheese sauce!!! Here is a look at the finished meal!
I bet h…

You know I love to read... You also know I love the whole Chicken Soup for the Soul Series.
That being said, lets just get right to it!!! They have yet another great book out now. Chicken Soup for the Soul: Just for Preteens is a great gift idea for the tweens you have in your life.
Chapters: 1- Feeling Good About Yourself 2- New Faces and New Places 3-Learning Lessons and Doing What's Right 4- Crushed 5- The Kindness of Others 6- When the Going Gets Tough 7- Finding Your Passion 8- That Was Embarrasing 9- Family Ties 10- Bullies and Bully Payback 11- Friendships to Last a Lifetime

Thomas and Friends : Day of the Diesels (DVD Review)

As we all know, Broxton LOVES Thomas and Friends... We have the toys, the books and of course, the DVD's.
I was excited to know that we would be adding to our DVD collection with the newest DVD from them.
Thomas and Friends: Day of the Diesel was not really what we were expecting. Yes, it had Thomas and Percy, but it seemed a bit too "negative" for Broxton. Don't get me wrong, we don't try and pretend the world is perfect.. With this DVD, it just seemed a little older than for a 2 and a half year old.
This DVD has the introduction of two new firefighting engines... Flynn and Belle. Broxton LOVED it!!!!!
Thomas shows them around Sodor Island, but in the process of doing so, Percy gets pushed to the side and is feeling ignored!
Then, there are the Diesels... Ugh...... I don't care for them, neither does Broxton!
Diesel 10 is a bad guy and long story short, he takes advantage of Percy feeling left out!
Broxton did not really get into it the first time, I do not know if it w…

W/W - Picnic with Caillou

Betty Crocker Brownie #giveaway

If you know me...You love me, for me... Not for my cooking.
I admit it, I am not one that sits around baking and making the house smell all warm and full of cakes and pies and brownies and what not... I just do not know how... You can only begin to imagine how big the smile was the other day when I told Marc I would be making brownies.. Talk about a special treat!!!
The thing is, I was given a prize pack from Betty Crocker to try out their new Milk Chocolate Traditional Brownie Mix.
Okay, first of all, I LOVE MILK CHOCOLATE... Second thing, I love anything SWEET and brownies are just delicious!!!

So, I put on my new apron (provided in my prize pack, and guess what, I loved it, I have never owned an apron and it made me think of my Nana!)
I grabbed my new spoon and then set out to make the brownies. Oh, then I got to worrying that I would not have all the ingredients!
That must have been a joke my mind was playing on me, as I flipped the box over and saw I needed like 3 things!!
Talk about simple a…
