I'm Ready to go back to the Creative Discovery Museum! It was so fun!!!

Image
Day Two: Creative Discovery Museum Broxton loves Bob the Builder. I love how they all work together to get the job done and at times, the machinery reminds me of little kids how they let their minds wander... I was so excited to hear that the Creative Discovery Museum in Chattanooga had a Bob the Builder Exhibit going on while we were there. Of course, I contacted them to see if I could come check it out and in turn, share it with you... Luckily for all of us, they said YES!!!! As if the playground looking atmosphere up on the roof doesn't call you to come check it out... I know that the different sculptures out front will! Just look at Broxton's excitement! I had a huge grin on my face when I walked in to see a Big Belly Bank ! (You know we love them, remember my review on Buddy ?!) When you first enter, there is just so much in every direction! We let Broxton choose where to start. We first started with the water. They had boats and ducks. You could pour the water or...

Please click on the photo's to enlarge them. All other posts should be better to view. Thanks! Day One: Lodging Chattanooga Choo Choo If you have been visiting my blog the past couple days, you have read about our trip to Rock City and to the Tennessee Aquarium . Well, guess where we stayed? When we went up to visit for the day, we of course had to stop and visit the famous Chattanooga Choo Choo ! Once I saw it, I thought it would be an amazing and unforgettable trip if we could actually spend the night in one of their Victorian Train Cars! As with all of my postings, if you want to learn more about it... (And you should!) Head on over to their website and read all about the history of the Chattanooga Choo Choo ! I will tell you that Terminal Station was erected in 1908 and that it came to be the Chattanooga Choo Choo in 1973... When you pull up to the Choo Choo ... You are greeted with a humongous terminal station. Once you park to go register... These beautiful d...

Thomas In Charge DVD Review

Image
Broxton LOVES trains! He loves seeing train tracks, he loves seeing trains, he even loves hearing trains in the distance! Loving trains as much as he does, he absolutely LOVES Thomas!!!! You have no idea how much he LOVES Thomas the Train . He watches Thomas when it is on.. He plays with his Thomas toys... He wears his Thomas clothes as much as possible. So, you know what that meant? As soon as the new Thomas In Charge DVD came, Broxton was so excited! He happily squealed, "Thomas!" Of course that meant that we had to put it on as soon as we could! On this particular DVD, there were 4 episodes: Thomas In Charge Henry's Good Deeds O The Dignity A Blooming Mess I am not sure which one was our favorite! I really liked Henry's Good Deeds. With this, it shows that you do not need to try and do good deeds... If you just do what you should be doing at all times, good deeds happen!!! We always enjoy watching, but I think that we both enjoyed A Blooming Mess. Watching it, we...

Do you LOVE Bubbles too? Gazillion Bubbles - Review

Image
As you know, we love being outside. We love playing with anything and everything... but one of our favorites? BUBBLES! We love bubbles, as you know by now. You can only guess how happy I was when I saw the cool bubble toys that Gazillion Bubbles has to offer! We looked at all the cool toys they have and wow, they have plenty! We decided that the best toy for us to review would be the Gazillion Bubbles Cyclone ! The best thing, is that it is battery operated! That means that I do not have to sit there and blow bubbles for hours on end! I surprised Broxton and told him to get his cars to go outside. We got outside and I pulled the box over. It was pretty easy to deal with. I admit, I got frustrated, because I was having a hard time getting the battery compartment open... Or so I thought. Marc came to the rescue and showed me that I had indeed opened it, I was just stressing over nothing! Shhhhhhhh , I know! Anyways, we put in the batteries and then screwed the bottle of bubble solution...

Tom and Jerry: Fur Flying Adventures Volume 2 - Review

Image
Who doesn't just LOVE Tom and Jerry? I know we do! I remember watching this when I was younger... I always wondered, why didn't Tom ever catch Jerry? Also, unlike most cartoons, they never spoke! What was up with that? Either way, I love that Tom and Jerry is a timeless classic in my opinion! No matter the age, everyone can laugh at how silly they are!!! We were able to review Tom and Jerry: Fur Flying Adventures Volume 2 and it was just as great as I remembered! How funny is this, right before we received the DVD, I walked in to see Broxton and Marc watching them on TV like the week before! Cute!!! We really enjoyed watching this DVD. I love seeing these and of course all the additional characters... (I heart Spike the dog!) Synopsis: One flustered feline + one resourceful rodent = 14 wild and wacky cartoons! Tom – the eternally crabby cat – and Jerry – the hopelessly adorable mouse – find themselves in a fracas once, twice and many times again in this latest bunch of 14 f...

Ebeanstalk - Review

Image
I have discussed Ebeanstalk before. I love how the site makes it so easy for anyone and everyone to take a look around and see what all they have to offer! I also love that if you are one that does not have children, they can sort of help guide you. I remember when friends would invite me to their kids parties.. I would have NO CLUE what to get them.. I mean, yeah... they are turning 3, but what are three year old gifts ? With Ebeanstalk , you just search, Toys for a 3 YR old and it will help you out!!! I know that we have a friend that has a little boy that just turned one and another turning 4 or 5, isn't it horrible that I do not remember? Where does the time go? Well, I am all about buying books and toys and everything else, but I really think that I might have to go with books this time, as he has every toy imaginable! I was looking at Books on Eric Carle . You know, the Hungry Caterpillar Book? Well, he has more than just that one! He has several that I have never even hear...

Sprig Toys - Eco Friendly and WALLET Friendly Too! Review

Image
So, I recently learned of this company, Sprig Toys . Yeah, I know some of you must think that I just have to live under a rock, but hey... I am still learning about everything out there! Anyways, enough of my learning... For now! Well, I was excited to see what the toy was going to look like... They talk about being Eco Friendly , Battery Free, Kid Powered... What was this going to be? I was so excited... No, make that VERY IMPRESSED when the toy came for review. Marc was equally impressed and Broxton was ready to play! I was hanging out with a friend and I immediately had to tell her about it... She just HAS to get some for her son! We chose the Dino Adventure Rig . Tell me this is not just the cutest? It has a mommy dino , a baby dino , an adventure truck and an adventure guide!!!! I thought it was just too cool because it is made with recycled paper and reclaimed wood! It is even paint free, as they add dye during the production process!!! How cool is that?! If you ask me, Very! B...
