***** “The Walmart gift cards and information have been provided by P&G.”  *****

As a mom, I try and save as much as I can... but lets be honest, I was trying to save money even before I became a mom.  I am not a penny pincher, but I do try and get as much as I can for my money.  That is one reason I love shopping at Walmart - Great Prices!!!   Lucky for us, there is a Walmart near us  and we shop there often!  I love that as of right now (until April 30th)  they have the P&G Stock and Save event going on...
That means savings on items I need and that I use often.

Looking to save? Here are the deals:

I have always been a Charmin girl.  For as long as I can remember, Charmin in the BLUE (that is how Broxton knows which one to get) is the one we stock our house with.  The other day, our store was out of the blue that is on sale, so I grabbed a pack of the red.  Hey, we normally have TONS of toilet paper, but being sidetracked with doctor appointments, I totally let it get down to one roll in each bathroom and that wasn't happening...  I grabbed the red to get me through (and then returned to Walmart a few days later to grab my blue ... and the sugar that I forgot to buy 2 different times!)

We use napkins instead of paper towels here, but my parents are obsessed with the Bounty Select a Size, when I saw it was on sale, I had to snap a picture to let them know!

While there, I had to sneak over to the baby section.  I had no clue what price diapers were these days, but we were a Pampers house with Broxton, so I know I will need to stock up on these too, especially since they are on sale right now!

To help you stock and save, P&G is letting me host a $25 gift card to Walmart for one lucky reader.   Just enter on the Rafflecopter form below.

Joseph and the Colorful Coat - The Brick Bible for Kids was perfect to give to Broxton.  We all know the obsession my son has with those Lego Bricks!  (He is playing with them now, as I get this ready to post!)  When I saw that they even made these books, I knew that I would want to check one out.  A "brick Bible" sounded perfect for him.  Everyone knows if you talk about something that interests a kid, they will be more likely to pay attention and want to hear about it, so incorporating the love of Lego with telling a Bible story was a very smart idea!
In this book, we get the Bible story of how Josephs brothers threw him down the well and then decided to sell him...   We see that he is sent to prison... and yes, we see him reuniting with his family.  The catcher is that it is told with Lego Minifigures!
Broxton enjoyed looking at the book, having me tell him the story and then having me read it to him a few times.  An added bonus in this book is at the end they have around 10 Lego pieces that are hidden in the book, so you get to go back through the book and look for those pieces.  A little " hide and seek" or "I spy" if you will!  (No need to worry, the answers are there in case you can't find them!)
What Bible Story would you like to see made into a Brick Bible Book?
