Nelle and Lizzy - Review and Giveaway

I am not a real big jewelry fan... My mom is!
That said, when I fall in love with something, I fall in love with it!
My mom has rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets... You name it, it matches her outfit.
Me? I have the basics of my jewelry and I wear it every day... No need for extras here!
That being said, I am in love!

When I was younger, my friend had a "Russian wedding band," it was 5 wedding bands in one ring.. I loved it! I wanted it, but I did not want 5, I wanted 3. I never could find it... and finally, I gave up looking for that one!
Now, I have found it! (and it is even better than what I had hoped for!)

Have you heard of Nelle and Lizzy?
If not, you really need to go and check them out!
I am telling you, this is wonderful!
Have you noticed that many of the great items happen because someone was looking for a special something and since they could not find it, they just created it themselves? This is what happened here... Nelle and Lizzy are two moms, who work together to create beautiful pieces of jewelry! Actually, Lizzy wanted a certain piece of jewelry and when she could not find anyone to help, she called on her friend, Nelle, who was able to work with her and produce beautiful pieces of works!

I was sent a sample ring to write an honest review. I love it!
First of all, the packaging is just wonderful! The packaging alone is something worth talking about!
Your piece of jewelry comes in this adorable little brown box with a ribbon holding it closed. The ribbon has the Nelle & Lizzy logo on it in purple. Once you open the box, it is filled with lavender and rosebuds! Your piece of jewelry is in there! You can go to their website and see what I am talking about, they have a picture of the beautiful packaging! (Have you ever heard of such before?! I think that is just the icing on the cake on this company!)
I was sent a triple band. Yep, I have fat fingers, so it would only fit my pinkie, but guess what?! I wore it anyways! ( I wanted to be able to write a thorough review!)
I love it! You can arrange it to have the names in whatever order you want...
The great thing about Nelle and Lizzy? You can order a single, double or even a TRIPLE ring!

Let me just point out the options:
Single Ring? Your child's name... or your loved one... or whatever else you can think!
Double Ring? Your loved one & anniversary... Or your children's names... or your child's name with their birthday!
Triple Ring? (The one I want) You and Your loved ones names & anniversary... Or all your children's names.. have twins? Have their name and the third one have their birthday on it!

Best of all..
You can get a single or double ring and then leave one blank... Send it back and get it filled in at a later date! How awesome is that?!
As I said... In LOVE... Yes, I am!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, I should also tell you...
They sell more than just rings!
You can get earrings, necklaces, bracelets and charms...
If you know that this would be a great gift, but you are unsure what to get... Just send a gift certificate!

Here is the BEST PART!!

Nelle and Lizzy are offering a $50 Gift Certificate to one of you!
How great is that?!

CSN Stores - did you know?!

Okay, maybe I am still really new to all this online shopping.
I mean, I usually just run and get what I need, I am not one that spends hours shopping, or window shopping or anything like that. I have just recently started looking online to buy things. No real reason as to why I never had before... and honestly, no real reason as to why I have started.

But, I have to tell you something that surprised me!
I have seen on other blogs all about the "CSN Stores"
I hate to say it, but I really did not know anything about them.
I just learned though...
They are made up of over 200+ stores!
Did you know that?
They have a store for everything!

Furniture? Check!
Home Decor? Check!
Baby Items? Check
School and Office Supply? Check!

I started looking around and I tell you now, whenever Marc and I get a house...
We will be looking at everything that CSN offers!

I have said that I would love to have the back yard with Adirondack Chairs...
There are lots of really nice items at www.allmodern.com
For those wanting a home bar... A "mans den" or whatever it is called these days,
They even have a store all with BUNK BEDS!!!
Obviously, Broxton will not stay a baby forever...
So, I have already started looking at kids bedding.
I do know that eventually, Marc and I would like to try and have one more child, so as I looked at all of this, I was already thinking WAY into the future!

Let me know what you think about CSN stores...
Have you ever heard of them? Bought anything from them?

I will be reviewing an item from them soon, check back so I can tell you all about it!!!!

Maybe someone can help me...
I need to figure out my twitter thing... LOL..
I am not a twitter user that much, but I need to set it to go to my phone..
BUT only to allow 2 people I follow to tweet to my phone...
The others I will get online, but I really NEED 2 of them to go to my phone.
Can anyone tell me if this is possible?
I would appreciate ANY help!
I think I see something about adding twitter to my phone, but like I said, I do not want them all to go, just 2 people..
Thanks guys!

Joy of Soap - Review and Giveaway

I was lucky enough to be able to review a couple of soaps from "The Joy of Soap."
Melissa sent me 3 different soaps to try and of the two I have reviewed, I love it! I have not reviewed the 3rd one, "
Manly Man" because I am waiting on Marc to get home to check this one out... Although, be the description online and the smell, I might just have to give it a try myself!

The two I have reviewed are:

Elizabeth's Wild Hair Shaving Soap
Developed by Elizabeth, a top-notch acupuncturist, this unique shaving soap incorporates the medicinal qualities of willow bark to tame those wild hairs which are so difficult to shave. And, you won't experience any painful razor bumps afterwards. Peppermint acts to energize and restore the senses.

Feeling Frisky
Our own classic scent, this clever mixture of tangerine, grapefruit and lime with calendula flower petals evokes the sensation of an invigorating spa treatment. Perfect to be shared with someone you love. Grapefruit oil has a cleansing and toning effect, while tangerine oil helps to increase circulation to the skin. Calendula is long known to promote healthy, younger-looking skin.

I really liked the Wild Hair Shaving Soap. As I first used it, I was trying to figure out a way to describe it. You know how your skin feels when you first apply lotion? Like the moisture is being absorbed and the dryness is going away, leaving a smooth soft touch? Well, that is how this feels as you are lathering up! It doesn't have a "soapy" residue that most have. When I shave, I hate using soap, I normally use lotion or conditioner! But, now, I think that might be getting ready to change! Marc shaves his head, and being in the ARMY, that means a clean face and fresh shaved head ALL the time, so... We normally go through plenty of lotion just with him shaving! I can not wait to see how he likes this! We might have to go to a his and hers with the shaving soap!

The Feeling Frisky has a nice scent as well! When I first opened the package, I thought "whoa! Sensory overload!" but once I actually removed the soap from the package and smelled each individual soap, I knew it was just because of it being boxed up to ship. The scent is not strong enough to blow you away, but it is strong enough to let you know it is there.

Now, to tell you a little about "The Joy of Soap"
Here is the About Us info taken from their website:

About Our Natural Skin Care Products

The Joy of Soap was created as a result of my many years spent traveling for work, which can be fun and exciting but hard on your skin. I always had trouble finding soaps that were not full of skin-drying chemicals and ultimately decided the way to get the finest possible soap was to start making my own using natural ingredients and old fashioned craftsmanship. From this The Joy of Soap was born.

In addition to the dry atmosphere on airplanes, commercially made soaps placed in hotel bathrooms add to skin dehydration. All of our natural soap is hand crafted, hand cut and hand wrapped in small batches, using certified organic oils, therapeutic grade essential oils and ingredients that are gentle on your skin. Our smaller size soap is perfect for work or pleasure trips enabling you to nurture your skin while away from home and be conscious of the environment by eliminating the need to dispose of hotel soaps and packaging. Take my soaps with you in a handy container on every trip and always enjoy the nurturing results of The Joy of Soap natural, organic ingredients.

Customers have been asking for other bath and skin care products, and based on suggestions and feedback we are working on a line of bath and skin care products that will help you to develop your own daily cleansing and bathing rituals using gentle and nourishing oils and botanicals that leave your skin clean, refreshed and rejuvenated, and that provide you with a daily indulgence to restore and increase your well being.
