My experience with Home Chef

Image
I will be the first to admit that I am not one that loves to cook.  Want me to tell you why?  Honestly, I don't want to spend all of my time in the kitchen using these different ingredients that I know NOTHING about and then not like the food.  That is real talk right there.  We went out to eat once and I ordered something with sage... yeah, realized I am not a sage fan... I ate it, because I paid for it... but I would have been ticked if I had paid for it AND took the time to cook it to find out I did not like it.  Lucky for me, Home Chef gave me a chance to check them out and in the process try a few new things.   Ready to hear all about it?  FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Sixth year for @DennysDiner to partner with #NoKidHungry

If you are anything like me, you see commercials and start wanting to go to that particular place, only to find out that there is not a location near you.  If it is an eating establishment, it is much worse than a store.  Stores mean you can normally shop online, ordering a meal, not so much!  That was the deal with us and Denny's until recently.  There is a Denny's heading south when we go visit family and there is a Denny's heading in the opposite direction. Near us? Nope, not a one!   FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. I was fortunate to have the chance to treat the family to dinner at Denny's recently.  We had a day trip and made it a point to stop at Denny's on the way home.  I have to admit, I don'...

Now that school is back in for us, people are in to more of routine.  We are still celebrating.  It is the little things, right?  First day of school was a success?  Why not have a frozen drink after school to celebrate?  First week was great?  Let's have pizza night to end the week on a good note!   You can go big or go small, but things you want to keep in mind.... FUN FUN FUN!!! If you follow me on Instagram you saw some of the pictures from that night. It was great, but I wanted to post this now, to remind you that although summer break has ended for many, that doesn't mean that you can'...

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. Being a mom is one of the best things in the world to me... Getting to see him learn and grow, absolutely amazing!  Summer is so fun for us, since there is no worry about having to get up and go to school, it is about enjoying being at home and as always, making memories! One thing I am not fond of?  Running from here to there and having to worry about what to cook for dinner. This summer started off a bit busy for us.  We had his preschool graduation, a big brother graduation, karate classes went to 2 times a week instead of 1 and he was still in baseball! So, although school was out, we still had places to go and things to do!  The last thing on my mind was running to/from karate and baseball wh...

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. So, a couple weeks ago, we had the opportunity to head to Chuck E. Cheese. Broxton had seen the commercials about it and had been asking, so we decided to surprise him with a treat to go there.  He was so excited and was eager to take his picture in front as soon as we walked up to the building!!!! Getting ready to head inside!   The reason we were given the chance to go was to share with you a new app that is now available. It is the Take a Snapshot with Chuck E. App.  You are told about it as soon as you walk in.  (No, it is not forced down your throat from the staff, but they do have advertising for it as soon as you open the door.)  The App is FREE and it is pretty neat.  Throu...
