You know what I have started noticing more and more, thanks to Social Media?  Mommy Camps!! In case you don't know, let me share with you!   Some moms have started doing themed weeks.  You pick a subject and do different activities to go along with the theme for the week.  Sort of like a summer camp at home. I recently received the new Bubble Guppies DVD - Fun on the Farm and it would be great to tie in to a Farming week. You could read books about farming, watch this DVD, try to plan a garden at your house and if you look online, you might be able to find a farm near you that will allow you to take a little "Field trip" to work into the fun week!!!!  FTC Compliant Review Policy: The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Do you have pets?  We don't... yet.  Maybe one day, but no time soon!   Broxton had asked for a puppy or a sibling and well, we see what route we chose to head down!  He loves dogs and maybe one day we will get a dog for him, but not these days. It is enough with a baby and a very hard headed son!   Until then, he can somewhat get his "fix" by watching a puppy filled DVD from Nickelodeon.   He is happy watching it and I don't have to clean up after a puppy any time soon!   I know that the days of these shows are almost all in the past, as he will sometimes say they are " too baby" for him... but he doesn't complain when it is on as background while he plays with his toys!  I love tha...

We love summer here, for several reasons.  One reason, school is out.  The other reason?  Swimming pools and being outside!!!!   While that is all fun and we can make lots of memories, we actually love fall as our favorite season.  You know... the cooler temperatures, the leaves changing... and let's not forget FOOTBALL SEASON!!!  (You can also add in Halloween and Thanksgiving, but the top for me is Football Season and Cooler Temps!)  Once school starts back, Broxton also starts back... asking when fall will be here!  We were excited to get the Celebrate Fall DVD from Nickelodeon for review to help get us ready for the new season!   Beach parties may be over, but autumn fu...

Yes, numbers and the alphabet are great and they need to know that, but also it is great to introduce them to other things to learn to really expand their mind.  When Broxton started watching BLAZE, we saw STEM being involved, now we get to see that STEM teaching is crossing other Nic...

He acted sort of out of it... and he never really asks to watch TV that much...  As soon as he got home from school, he asked if he could watch Bubble Guppies - I was so happy that we had recently been sent their newest DVD... Bubble Guppies Animals Everywhere.  Of course, I put it on for him and he sat there- zoned in to watching it (that is another thing that never really happens... He is always so busy!)   This would be a great addition for an Easter Basket or even a good go to movie for any road trips planned - think Spring Break or Summer Vacation!!!! Broxton absolutely loves Bubble Guppies and Team Umizoomi.   I love it too, as they TEACH and Broxton really seems to learn when he watches it.  I know that all shows for his age "try" and teach, but some are better than others...   He even requested a Bubble Guppies book from the school book fair this year! Since he just loves these characters, I was so excited to get the Bubble Guppies / Team Umizoomi DVD for review:   Into the Snow We Go !  Synopsis:  Join the Guppies for a festive special as they work together to share the joy of the holiday season with their neighbor, Mr. Grumpfish.
