I love Dora, because it teaches Spanish too and we all know that the younger they are, the more they absorb!    Now we have Season One of Dora and Friends!!! Make sure you grab a copy, perfect for a gift this season!!!!! Dora   and   Friends : The  Complete   First   Season  DVD includes the following episodes: DISC 1 ( Dora   and   Fr

A blogger friend of mine sings praises about probiotics and to be honest with you, I have heard of them... but have never used them.  Until now... Let me clarify that though.  I have yet to use them for me (I know I need to and that is on my to do list, but I have been giving them to Savannah.)  I read online it was great to give it to them even more so after they were on antibiotics to try and help with adding the good bacteria back. I have yet to notice any difference, but then again, we are just now getting started with using them. I wanted to share that Mommy Bliss has released BABY PROBIOTIC DROPS. (I thought this was very informative to read about probiotics and c-section babies .)  We use several of their products.

I can mark that off my list @CrossPens #StarWars #GiftGuide #MakeYours

I work hard at making sure my loved ones get just the right gift for Christmas.  Yes, I know it is NOT about the gift, but I love seeing their face when they open up the gift I got them.  It is most exciting to see the joy on my sons face, as it is all still so magical to him. (and now we get to see the magic all over again with our daughter.)  Well, this year, I have a bit of a dilemma.  I was sent an AWESOME  DARTH VADER gel ink pen from Cross. As soon as I was told about it, I knew it was going to be a gift - to me, from me!  It arrived and I was impressed.  (I am a new Star Wars fan, I will admit that, but I know of all the characters from my husband and son!)    I sat it over on the bookshelf, as I was going to

We were recently sent the K'Nex Combat Crew 5 in 1 Building Set for review.  Let's just go ahead and get this out of the way... It says for ages 7+, but this 30 something year old mama was struggling.  That isn't saying a lot, since I know my eyes aren't as good as they used to be and my hands are much bigger than a 7 year old, but whoa nelly... that was some work! We decided that since Broxton had been doing SO WELL in school, we would allow his elf to give it to him.  It was great as it was supposed to be a daddy and son event.  Yeah, that quickly ended when the patience of daddy went flying out the window and mommy had to step in.  Broxton was getting frustrated, as we were both trying to do the sa

Remember when I told you how we had a horrible end of October, all of November, start of December?  Yeah, well Broxton normally doesn't get a fever... Sometimes it is around 99, but that is about as high as it gets.. when it was up as high as it was, I was FREAKING out... Yes, with all of us being sick off and on, we basically had at least one person at the doctor each week.  I know that fevers are fighting infection, but when it gets that high and won't go down, you want to do anything and everything... those high temperatures were SCARY!!!! The doctor said to just watch him, but lets be real... Your "baby" is sick, (even if they are 6, they are still your baby!) and you want to do ANYTHING to make the

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. Let me tell you what happened here!!! I was invited to go to an advance screening of Star Wars : The Force Awakens and of course I said yes.  I do need to admit something first.  I was never really a Star Wars fan.  I know who the characters are because my husband and my son are HUGE FANS.  So, when I was invited I decided that I might need to watch the others so that I knew what was going on.  There was a debate over the order to watch.  4,5, 6 and then 1, 2, 3.... or just 1,2,3,4,5 and then 6.  We decided that I would start with 4 and go... I never got around to 1,2 and 3.  (I was told that it wasn't that big of a deal to miss those before seeing number 7.  What do you think?)  Anyways---   I was so excited to

Can you believe Christmas is almost here?  I know it is the same time each year, but I guess the days seem long and the nights seem LONGER ---  Hello, 4 month old baby!!!   Either way, it seems like the time keeps flying and now we are getting ready for a house full of family and great memories to be made!   With that comes gifts... and if you are lost as to what to give someone, I have a great suggestion!   I was recently introduced to Hugg-A-Planet and I am in love.   Let't be honest, with the world today (the news makes me sad every time I turn it on or log onto the internet)  we can all use more hugs and love.  Right?  Click on over   HERE   to read about them from the company standpoint.  I want to tell you abo

I just wanted to sort of "toot my own horn" for a minute. I have several great companies that I have worked with for a while now and I can say that I love the relationships I have built with them.  When I received the email saying I was chosen as the Fox Home Ent. Image - Amazon  Boo's Beard is a great book to try and explain to children that everyone is different, but all want to be loved and included.  This book is perfect for children to somewhat start to try and explain autism a bit and to show that there are children out there like them. Maybe they have never met a child on the autism spectrum, or maybe they are on the spectrum and want to know they are not alone. Either way, this is a great book.  Tom is a little boy that has a hard time understanding facial expressions.  He enjoys going to the park with his dog, Boo, but wishes he was included in playing with the other children.   One day, a little girl comes over to see his dog and starts making faci

Up first is a Christmas themed book, Sofia's first Christmas.  In this book, Sofia gets to spend Christmas with her friend Vivian.  They have a great time together, I loved the book, and the message : the best gift of all is spending time with those you love!  The other book that would be great to give is Let the Good Times Troll.  In this book, we get to meet the trolls that have been banished to live under the castle.  Of course, Sofia finds out what really happened and sets out to make things right.  Find out what ends up happening to make this a great story too!   Sofia's First Christmas

We love all that PBS has to offer and the latest " 20 Furry Tales" doesn't disappoint. Especially when you consider it is 4 hours... and the SRP is less than $10.  Talk about a great deal!!!!  This would be worth it to give to several kids on your list!!!!  “ 20 FURRY TALES ,” which includes approximately  four hours  of adventures, is available exclusively at Walmart stores (SRP: $6.99). It features stories and clips from Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Caillou, WordWorld, Super Why, Peg + Cat, Arthur, WordGirl, Reading Rainbow and Wild Kratts. From picking a new class pet with Danie

Around here, it is almost time for Winter Break.  I can not say it is almost time for winter, as it sure doesn't feel like it. Yesterday we were enjoying temperatures in the 70's,.. doesn't feel that "wintery" yet around here.  With the colder temperatures (hopefully) on the way and school almost out for a few weeks, we will be looking for something fun and exciting to do INDOORS if it gets too bad outside.  I was excited when a package arrived with a cute selection of board books. They will be perfect for Savannah as she gets older and it will be cute to get Broxton moving this holiday season!   Up first, Santa Shimmy.   You get to Shake it fast.  Shake it slow.  March March March with a HO
