No longer need to put your back into it. #tfal ice cream scoop works!

Please don't tell me that you are one of those that doesn't eat ice cream when it is cold weather.  I used to be, then I went to Utah to visit one of my best friends and we stopped to get ice cream in the snow and I realized I had been missing out on ice cream for months because it was "cold outside!"  What?  That is crazy!!! There should never be a time to say NO to ice cream!  I don't know about where you are, but it is still warm here, so even if you are a no ice cream in cold weather person, you can still enjoy now!
We were recently sent the
T-fal Ingenio Ice Cream Scoop for review and now I get to tell you about it.

  • Heavy cast material scoops smoothly and effortlessly through even the hardest ice creams
  • Ingenio! Features a hygienic "kick-stand" that elevates the scoop off of the counter
  • Available at: Amazon, Kohls.com & various grocery stores nationwide
  • MSRP: $12.99

I don't know if you know this or not, but I used to work in a sports bar.  There was nothing worse than when someone ordered Ice Cream and you had to get that big thing out and start trying to scoop it out.  UGH  Talk about needing arms of steel! Well, with the Tfal  Ice Cream Scoop, you just slide that bad boy on in there and it scoops it out for you with ease.  It says "even the hardest" but I did not try that out.  With habit, I normally get out my ice cream, then get the bowls / spoons and whatever else I need... Then I get to scooping.   Works perfect for me and so glad we have a new one.  Pretty hard to get the ice cream with a spoon or one of those plastic scoops!

Now, go buy some ice cream, toppings and this cool scoop. Plan an ice cream sundae social and enjoy!!!   That does sound good, bet you can't guess what we will will be eating soon!

Disney on Ice - Follow Your Heart - Atlanta Tickets Available Now

When Broxton was little, we went on several "mother son dates" and I love the time spent with him one on on.  Now that Savannah is here, it is normally the 3 of us and that is great too, but I do want to do one on one "dates" with both of them. Don't you agree that it makes it more special when they get all of your attention, even if it just for a little while?

Fruit Shoots are perfect to throw in the lunch box!

What do your children drink each day? I wish I could say that mine drink water non stop, but that just is not the case.  Neither of them are huge fans, but we do attempt to drink it as much as possible! Broxton is normally only allowed to take a juice to school for lunch and that is his juice limit for the day.  We were recently sent a selection of Fruit Shoots to give a try and that is just what we did!

Fruit Shoot is a refreshing fruit juice drink made with real juice from concentrate and with no artificial flavors or high fructose corn syrup. It comes in six delicious flavors, including fruit blends like Strawberry & Raspberry, Berry Burst, Orange & Mango, Pink Lemonade, Apple, and Wild Berry Grape, and the No Sugar Added variety has 20 calories or less and just three grams of sugar (for the 10.1 Fl Oz/300mL bottle).  Additionally, Fruit Shootmade with plenty of water to help kids refuel, and has a re-sealable sports cap – perfect for on-the-go.

I tell you this, I love that they are resealable.  I know that if I send it in for Broxton's lunch, he can drink what he wants, close it up and then bring the rest home.
I have actually noticed that I grab them to take as a drink to go for me from time to time. (I am really trying to work on my soda intake, so this is a great alternative.) I love that they have NO ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS or HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP!!!!   I will be the first to admit that I am not the one that goes reading labels, so when I see this as an added bonus, it does make me happy!
These are great for drinks on the go. Perfect for when you are out and about enjoying life!!! Head on out and buy some now!!!!

Swan Princess - Princess Tomorrow Pirate Today - Which would you choose?

Savannah is getting at the age where she will watch a little TV with me.  No, she doesn't sit long enough to watch anything long, but that is fine with me.  I would rather her be up and moving anyways.  I do like to sit with her and watch her expressions when we do watch something on the TV, it is so cute how her little mind works!  We were recently sent a box of goodies to enjoy a movie titled, The Swan Princess. Princess Tomorrow, Pirate Today.  With it being "princess" I knew it was for Savannah and I and not to even ask Broxton to join us. Boy was I wrong...

Our kit arrived and Savannah was excited when we were playing putting the Pirate Eye Patch on. You could tell Broxton was curious as to what all she got and why there was Pirate stuff in there "for a girl!"  I had to tell him that a princess could be both... and to remind him that she loves playing with his cars and wrestlers just like he does!
I was excited to see the movie and I will admit, I was a bit skeptical when it started.  There were these creatures singing and acting weird.  I thought for sure Savannah would be put off by them, but I guess she has not been taught to be scared of them, so they did not bother her.  We got to meet the princess, see the Queen and then the real fun started.  What would you rather be?  Princess? Pirate?  Why not both?  Who is stopping you????

In the brand new original animated film, Princess Alise is training to be the perfect royal but in her heart all she wants to do is sail the seven seas as a swashbuckling pirate! After setting sail,Princess Alise is shipwrecked and washes ashore on an island where she meets Lucas, a young boy who has been living there by herself. They have to work together to survive and get back to civilization!

As I said, I was wrong.  It was a movie that Broxton and Savannah both enjoyed. You get the excitement of the Princess experience and then the thrill of the Pirate experience, but which is more fun?  We all enjoyed the movie. If you have a younger child, make sure you take the time to watch it.  I am pretty sure you will enjoy it as well!
