Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. The other day we were able to enjoy a sneak peek of TURBO...    IN 3D. I thought it was super cute... I mean, it is a kids movie... About a snail that wants to race. Marc was not really impressed with it ...   Broxton  on the other hand, had to tell everyone how funny the movie was and that his favorite part was watching the snails and the tomatoes.   I thought it was cute and caught myself laughing several times. (You could hear other adults cracking up as well!) I loved the detail they put into the "cars" for the other racing snails...    Would I go see it again?  For sure!!! This is cute for those with kids that like racing...   SYNOPSIS: Tur...

Explore and Wonder with Time: Zoo 3D

Image
We had the opportunity to review a pretty neat book and now I get to tell you about it. Time Books (which I love, as we have several of them already) has released the coolest 3D book!   We recently had the chance to review, Zoo 3D and we loved it! The images are outstanding and you really get the feeling that the animals are right there in front of you.  I was very surprised with the quality and was telling Marc about how impressed I was when we looked over at Broxton.  He was reaching out trying to grab the animals!  At that point, I stopped looking at the book and enjoyed the time watching Broxton as we flipped the pages! You will be impressed with the images, but that is not all... Time truly grabs you, as there is so much to learn as well! Kids will love the pictures and the adults will love the time bonding and reading all the text on the pages!  Here is a sample of knowledge from the book: Know why a gorilla yawns? Nope... no...

I Think Jack Dawson Was In My Living Room - Titanic 3D

Image
I am not even going to lie...  I could have sworn that Jack Dawson was in my living room yesterday! You know... Jack Dawson... AKA Leonardo DiCaprio from Titanic!  I was so lucky to have the chance to review the latest from Titanic.. Titanic 3D.   A friend of mine kept laughing at how excited I was over this...  but I could have cared less, I was like a kid in a candy store or on Christmas morning... I mean, I was REALLY excited!  Let me tell you how it went... Well, let me back up and tell you that I am not tech savvy, so that was a start right there...  But then, I go and put my 3D movie in... Put my 3D glasses on...  I am ready to go... but nothing...  Come to find out, our blu-ray player needed updating first...  So, I am on the phone figuring this out... Then, the lady says " let's see if it is working now"  I turn it on and the menu screen about slaps me in the face!  It was IN 3D!  I...

Finding Nemo in 3D - Just Keep Swimming

Image
I was so excited to know that Finding Nemo was going to be coming out in 3D- Why? Because I just love that movie...  Gotta LOVE Dory too... (You know I love Ellen, so that was a given!) We were so lucky to have the chance to go and see Finding Nemo in 3D last week. It was so awesome! We got there, grabbed our glasses and picked the seats that I thought would be perfect for us. The movie started and in true Pixar fashion, we had a treat... It was the dinosaur from Toy Story and WAS the partysaurus in this one! It was super cute and I have to be honest... I would love for another Toy Story to come out... I can not get enough of those guys! So... Back to Nemo. This has been one of Broxton's favorite movies since I can remember. We have it on DVD and if it is EVER on TV, we watch it like we don't own it already! I knew Broxton was going to be excited seeing it on the big screen (don't get me started on our television... my dad jokes that it came over on the Mayflower!)...

Let's Go Out To The Movies

Image
With all the Disney / Pixar movies coming out...  Looks as though Broxton and I will be having a couple "dates" soon.... For the longest time, he was obsessed with the movie, Monsters Inc... Now that it will be coming out in 3D, I am so excited!   Is anyone else excited? Do you have "dates" with your little ones to the movies or to lunch? ***** I was not asked to post this, just wanted to share... *****
