45 Minutes In and I was Crying : Machine Gun Preacher
We saw the previews for Machine Gun Preacher on another movie we watched and both Marc and I decided that we wanted to see this movie. Lucky for us, we had the chance to review it and I thought it was good. Well, it is hard to say "good" about something so sad... You see, Machine Gun Preacher is about this "white" man that is pretty much a bad guy at the start of the movie... It starts with him getting out of jail.. Well, there is PLENTY of profanity and then he eventually finds Jesus. Or rather, Jesus found him... That was a turning point in his life and he starts changing his ways... He eventually ends up in Sudan and sees the bad things that are going on... (If you have heard anything about KONY, this is it right here... ) Childers, the "white preacher" sets out to try and help the people of Sudan because of all he has seen while there ... and feels as though it is his calling...
