Aloha Friday - #68

Image
Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog. My question this week: Does it ever bother you when you ALWAYS comment on certain blogs and they NEVER comment back? My answer: It used to..... Now, I just do not comment as often. I feel that if I take the time to comment, you can respond at some point... I know some blogs are bigger than others, but every now and then, I think it is nice! :) That's just me though... Have a great weekend! Don't forget to enter to win the Carmex Tinted Tubes ... Ends tonight!!! Also, stop by my Project 365. .. and feel free to join up!

Santa Brought Bathtime FUN

Image
I do not know how many of you have this... If you do not have one... You might want to get one... SOON. Santa brought Broxton a SUMMERS INFANT TUB TIME BUBBLE TOY . We FINALLY got it out tonight... You just put 4 batteries in it... and bathtime has changed - for-ever!!!! Broxton LOVED it! We LOVED watching him play! You can place it wherever you want in the tub... Here are a few picture to show how fun it is... Here is his look of excitement: Trying to catch a bubble: Splish Splash! Moved it up higher! Down lower so he can turn it on and off: This baby doesn't make just a couple bubbles... It makes TONS of bubbles!!! So glad Santa brought this for Broxton !!!!!!

Wasa - A healthy alternative - Review

Image
You know we all snack... a bite here... a bite there... Did you know that Wasa has a great alternative to chips and crackers (and bread... Oh MY)?! They have this "crispy flatbread " that is just so yummy! We were able to review all 3 (Rosemary, sesame, original) of their flavors and I am having a hard time picking which one I like the best! I think I would be more apt to buy the Sesame again... Although Broxton could not get enough of the Rosemary! We tried them plain as just something to munch on... Yum... and filling! I also used them to make sandwiches. You can go to their website and there are several recipes that you can try as well! My favorite? (WILL be trying this SOON) Cream Cheese and Smoked Salmon! They even include the nutritional information at the bottom of the recipe! Oh, and tell me that the Margherita Pizza on Wasa doesn't look delicious?! By the way... Bob Greene, of THE BEST LIFE DIET recommends Wasa ! See, I told you it was good! You can use t

Creative Professional - Review

Image
I have always been one to just brush my hair and go... Combs have NEVER been in my bathroom. The main reason? They always seemed to break or they could not get through the thickness of my hair. That has since changed! I was lucky enough to be able to review a handcrafted tortoise shell comb from Creative Professional. I really like how it works the tangles out of my hair with little to no effort. I normally wash my hair, brush it and then pull it back into a pony tail. That is the extent of it... Sorry, I do not really do anything else to it unless we are going somewhere. With this comb, I can take my hair out of the ponytail and comb through it with great ease. Now, how can my hair get tangled up if its in a ponytail? Well, I take it down and put it up several times throughout the day... You know, when a loose couple of strands get out! Normally, I have a couple knots in it... Lots of working it out or just brushing through it (bad, I know!) Now, I can just comb it out.. I like the c

W/W - Thai again

Image
Remember when I tried Thai food for the first time? Well, we have gone a few times since then. We actually went to two different places, but the second place is wonderful! Why is it so wonderful? Well, of course ... THE FOOD! But it is more than that... When you walk in, they all make you feel so Welcomed! The lady that works there... Not sure if she is the owner or manager or what... But she always grabs Broxton and gives him a big hug and kiss! Then she talks about how cute he is and how much he has grown. Now, I am not sure that she remembers us... but she sure makes it seem that way! We went last night and once again... Oh, he is getting so big! He is just so cute! She always makes him his own little meal and brings it as soon as it is ready. She even asked when we were going to bring a picture of him to go on the "Curry Curry Kids Wall." (The place is called Curry Curry and they have a wall with pictures of all kids!) I promised her next time we came, we would bring a

I'm coming back!

Hey guys and gals! I have missed you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry that I have been absent for so long... It seems like a million years since we were here together. Let me explain... Remember that Broxton and I were sick... Yeah, that lasted a week... ALMOST better, then we went and got the brothers... Now, we have 4 boys and daddy... Oh yes, one female here.. ME! First night back....... The youngest of the brothers gets sick.......... Get that all cleaned up... Starts over again... All. Night. Long. (oh, and daddy had to go to work) Then, the oldest of the brothers gets sick. (Luckily only once) Wow... Great start to Christmas break. (Come to find out, they had been sick the week before too) Well, everyone is on track to getting all better... Then Broxton and I get the cold or whatever sneaking back up on us. We ended up being sick Christmas... Oh, we gave my mom and dad a little extra present... They both got it too! I ended up taking Broxton to the doctor... He is on antibiotics now
