We Moved!!!!

I just wanted to take a minute to let you know what has been going on....
I know some people have noticed that I have not been blogging as much as I normally do...

We bought a house!!!
Yes!  The last couple of months has been hectic!!!
We dealt with trying to find "the house" for us...
Then, we finally found it.
Bought it, started moving and the rest is history.

I say that.. but we moved and tried so hard to make sure it was a secret...
We wanted to surprise the boys with it when they came up for the summer!
(We did by the way!!!!)

Want to see our new house?

Yep!  That is our home!!!!
I love it. Broxton loves it. Marc loves it.  The boys love it.
We are all so very happy!!!!

With the house comes so much... and we are realizing that being homeowners we need / want so much...
(In time, right?)

Just wanted to let you know what was going on.
Now that we are all moved in and the boys know, I should be back to blogging like normal.

If you are looking to get a one of a kind Father's Day gift this year...  Look no further than Prep Sportswear.  I actually ordered a special shirt for MY dad for his Christmas gift last year.  We have an arena football team in my hometown and Prep Sportswear was who we had to order their shirts from...
So, when I had a chance to work in a review for Father's Day, I was excited as I was very pleased in ordering from them in the past.

Prep Sportswear has clothing for pretty much everyone.

They actually have a way for you to look to see if they have a vintage team from your past (or the past of those you might purchase a gift for!)  I looked for a couple, but lets be honest here... I don't really have any "vintage" teams right now...

I did look for our college teams and it is unfortunate that there are several schools that are not covered from Prep Sportswear.  I am sure it has something to do with the individual schools and their rules.  I was not that worried though, as I was able to make Marc an awesome shirt!!!!

Since Marc loves LSU (not a school they have)  I knew I wanted to go with a Purple and Gold scheme.  I found a collared shirt I liked, went with purple and then figured out I wanted to go with just "New Orleans, Louisiana" on it in gold.
The ordering was easy and then a bit later, it arrived in the mail.

I thought it was awesome that they even put a sticker on there saying that it was specially made.  ( I know, it is the little things!)
Marc was very surprised with the shirt and immediately had to put it on and show it off for me.  I was happy to see the excitement in his face.  When asking him his thoughts, he kept saying " I loved it!  I thought it was very comfortable."  I tell you, a man of few words !
I did like the way it fit on him... and the length was great too... Not too long, but not short either.

So - if you are looking for a great gift idea...
Keep Prep Sportswear in mind.
They not only have sports teams that we all follow, they also have different golf courses, military shirts and even Greek!!!!
As I said... Great Gift Idea!!!!

12 Rounds 2 Reloaded - Great Dad Gift #FathersDay

We love the WWE at this house... and that also includes the WWE movies.
When 12 Rounds came out, I knew I wanted to see it because it had John Cena and we all know how much I love him...  You know... he is so supportive of the military and the Make a Wish Foundation.
Well.... The movie was great (imagine that!)
When I saw that they had a new movie... 12 Rounds 2 Reloaded.
I was eager to see it as well.   This movie has Randy Orton as the main character.  (We also love him as well, so that meant we wanted to see it too!)

Let me start by saying:
As much as the WWE caters to the younger age.... this movie is NOT appropriate for the main WWE crowd. I am not sure if they were just not thinking about their target audience when making this movie... or if they were trying to broaden their fan base...
I will say this...
The movie was GREAT!!!
The boys were here for break (and all love the WWE) so we put it on.
It is not really appropriate language (*LOTS Of F-Bombs) but lets get real... they hear it at school, so I was not too concerned.  They just know it is not language for them to repeat.

From the first second it starts, you know you are in for a great movie...
12 Rounds 2 Reloaded starts with Randy Orton as an EMT.  He and his co-worker are called for an emergency and while there working on the person, he gets a phone call on his personal cell and the "12 rounds" of the game officially starts.  He has 12 "rounds" to the game... Miss a round, someone dies.  Make the round, save a life.. but NO COPS... and there is a time limit!!!!
If you are a fan of WWE, you will LOVE the movie as you have Randy Orton as the main character the whole time... If you are NOT a fan of the WWE, give it a shot.  Just look at it as seeing a movie with a cast you are not familiar with... You will not be disappointed.  Randy Orton did a great job in the movie and honestly, seeing him in this makes me want to go and try and see the other movie he was in called That's What I Am. (It was never available at a Blockbuster to rent, so I have yet to see it.)
Anyways... You know I can ramble.. but the bottom line is this...
If you like a fast paced action movie...
Grab one for an awesome Father's Day Gift (or grab it for yourself!)  You will be on the edge of your seat till the end!!!!

As paramedic Nick Malloy, Orton jumps into overdrive in this pulse-pounding, thrill ride filled with gripping suspense! Malloy receives a terrifying call from a vengeful psychopath connected to his past, and the maniac (Brian Markinson) threatens to unleash a murder spree unless Nick can complete a series of 12 challenges without involving the cops or missing a single deadline. With no time to spare — and his own wife’s life on the line — Nick must piece together cryptic clues and hunt down the killer before it’s too late!

New Movie Alert - The Oranges

Fresh-squeezed laughs and sexy fun sweeten this critically-acclaimed comedy with an all-star cast, including Leighton Meester, Hugh Laurie, Oliver Platt and Catherine Keener. What does it take to be truly happy? Two suburban families are about to find out when the Ostroffs' rebellious daughter Nina (Meester) returns home and starts an adulterous affair with long-time family friend David Walling (Laurie.) The outrageous scandal reaches hilarious new heights during the holidays and makes these New Jersey neighbors tear apart more than just wrapping paper. Love is a wrecking ball headed straight for The Oranges...and it may just change all of their lives forever.

I do not know about you, but with me, I will some times get a movie to watch just based upon the cast and not even read the synopsis.  That was the case with The Oranges.  I was not really sure what I was getting into, but I saw it had the chic from Gossip Girl, the boy from The O.C. and then that dude from House.  Ha ha (Can't you see how good I am with names?)
Well, I put the movie in ready to see what I was getting into.  I liked the cast, so I knew it had to be pretty good...   As soon as it started, I asked Marc if he got the vibe that Nina had a thing for David.  (It was just that obvious as soon as it started.)

It had a couple of funny parts, but I would not necessarily call it a "funny movie."  It is for sure not one to watch while the kids are up playing...  At least in our house, as it means he has to stop to see what is going on.  I did enjoy the movie, but I wish that they would have let Adam Brody (the guy that played on The O.C.) have more screen time... I just love him!
