Why do we do the things we do?  There is always a reason to celebrate - and with a new collection of children's books, some of the holidays are answered!  We were sent a couple books for review (one explaining Valentines and the other explaining St Patrick's Day) add to it, we had a few extra St Patrick's books thrown in!  Of course, we sent some along to my nephews in Atlanta - but I will also be donating some to the daycare that Broxton and Savannah both went to.  I love books and we all know that childcare centers could always use extra books to let kids love to learn to read! To know me is to love me, right?  Well, as long as I can remember, I have absolutely LOVED VAN GOGH!!!!   I mean, like wow - his work is just amazing and beautiful and I could get lost for days!  Do you have a favorite artist that you are just constantly drawn to???   Let me try to break it down a bit for you - remember "coffee table books" back in the day?  I don't ever heard people mentioning them now, so I don't know if it is even a thing these days...  Anyways - when I was in college - I bought this HUGE Van Gogh coffee table book - it was pricey too, but I just knew I needed it!  Then, we had the local museum - The High Museum of Atlanta - have a big Van Gogh exhibit and my best friend Cindy went with me to see it. Valentines can be a bit tricky... We have already had Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years and SO MANY SWEETS - not to mention the Valentines events in class...
