Smell Good with Jafra #Review

Image
You know how you have a scent that reminds you of a special time or place?  Well, at work, we are always about trying out new scents and seeing what works best for each of us.  I was sent Navigo Ocean Femme by JAFRA and of course I had to use it for a day date with Matt!  He loved it and I did too!   FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. I will be honest, JAFRA was a new to me name, but the Navigo Ocean Femme bottle grabs my attention and I really do love the scent!  To me, it is light and sweet.   From their site:  Experience the liberating allure of Navîgo Ocean Femme, a refreshing blend inspired by California, to ignite your passion and transport you to an oceanic escape, where salt-kissed golde...

Winning with OffCourt Fragrance

Valentines can be a bit tricky... We have already had Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years and SO MANY SWEETS - not to mention the Valentines events in class... So at this point, my kiddos don't get much in the sweets area from me!  Also- add to the mix I have a teenage boy and a tweenager- that should explain so much! Verdant fig leaves offer a complex and inviting natural green to lead this scent. Vetiver goes deeper bringing a mossy, almost woodiness, while white musk rounds it off with a clean, crisp airiness. Inspired by earthy freshness like hiking Big Sur after a spring rain or cycling the Mediterranean. Robert Piguet Fragrances #Review #Ad

I will be the first to admit that I am the last one to know fashion... and all things "girly."  I don't wear much makeup - just weddings and events when I need to get dressed up.  I go for more casual than attention grabbing... but I do love perfume.  I have tried a few of those "clubs" but have had no luck.  Let me tell you this... I am not a fan of going and sniffing a ton of scents either...  Having said that... I DO NOT want to waste money on perfume and not like it.  I mean, that stuff is not cheap!  I bought one that I had to spray like half a bottle on me to even smell once.  not a fan.  So when I had the chance to check out Robert Piguet, I was excited.  What excited me the most was that they had a sampler set.  Again, you don't want to go buying something and not like it.  I did see they had a gardenia scent and I hate that it wasn't included in the sampler, but it is what it is!  I have tried a few of the scents ...

Smell the Holidays Getting Closer? #scentsicles review

Growing up, we always had a tree.  A beautiful tree full of great ornaments and memories of years gone by.  I never had a real tree.  NEVER.  Each year, my mom would get my dad to get the tree out of storage, then she would decorate.  When I moved out on my own, we bought a cheap little tree and a couple of ornaments to go on it. Nothing fancy, but it was a tree.  When I got married, I wanted to have a pre-lit tree so bad that I could not stand it (I don't mind decorating the tree, but those lights... man that drives me nuts!)  Marc and I had a deal, he would string the lights on it, I would do the ornaments... and that was how it was...UNTIL we bought a beautiful artificial tree on sale- PRE LIT! I was thrilled with our purchase and that was how it has been.  Until a couple years ago. He got in his mind that he wanted to go get a real tree...  It was a big deal as we took Broxton to the tree farm and purchased one... Talk about making memor...

Look @AuricBlends for Great Gifts!

The holidays bring about all sorts of gifts... From toys and books to clothes and cooking utensils.  Another gift you can give?  Anything from the site, Auric Blends .  I was sent an early Christmas present of a couple of their products and I was very pleased. Not to mention, impressed!  The scent of the Egyptian Goddess was wonderful to me.  I did not think that it was that strong, so as I wrapped Christmas presents, I gave a nice spray for me to enjoy one day.  Little did I know that the scent would not agree with Marc.  He immediately came in sneezing and asking what I sprayed that had him allergic.  (If you remember, he has a very sensitive nose, so I should have been prepared.) The Egyptian Goddess fragrance is described as soft florals, light powder and musk. I am not sure what had him sneezing, but he ended up asking me to take a shower, as it was really bothering him.  I on the other hand thought it smelled wonderfu...
