If you have visited this blog before, you might know how much we love the shoes from Stride Rite .  I will sing their praises, as they are really good for us.  Broxton can do some damage on shoes, so for the longest time I would just buy a cheap pair from a local store and when they were worn out, we would just buy a new pair.  We then tried out Stride Rite and we have never looked back!  Well, actually this one time, his daddy wanted to buy him a pair of shoes like his, so we ventured out to that store and after wearing them for about 10 minutes (and him not liking them) we took them back to their store and then headed further down in the mall and got him a new pair of Stride Rite shoes!  ...

If you have not heard of Paw Patrol, you really should check it out.  It is a super cute show from Nickelodeon about a group of Pups that live with their caretaker, Ryder.  They each have their own "thing" they do... Be it a police dog, a fire dog, a recycle dog and so on.  We love each of them for different reasons.  This year, all fans of Paw Patrol were gifted with a new pup to love... With Back To School all around us, I wanted to take a few minutes to highlight on a product that many don't really think about.  Okay, Okay, maybe it was just me.. because I didn't think about it until this year!  Each year when back to school rolls around, I go and start thinking about clothing.  Having a young son, we always had to go and grab the cute character t-shirts and then I would grab a few polo style shirts as well.  The polo style were great, as he could wear them to school and then wear it on Sunday to church!  Each year for Christmas, I get all the boys a pair of pajamas that they wear on Christmas Eve.  Normally I just grab the pj pants, but last year, I went and got them ...

It is enough with a baby and a very hard headed son!   Until then, he can somewhat get his "fix" by watching a puppy filled DVD from Nickelodeon.   He is happy watching it and I don't have to clean up after a puppy any time soon!   I know that the days of these shows are almost all in the past, as he will sometimes say they are " too baby" for him... but he doesn't complain when it is on as background while he plays with his toys!  I love tha...

The older Broxton gets, the more he turns into his own person and I just love it.  I guess it was about a year ago when he started drifting away from the preschool shows we used to watch together and turned to choosing other shows.  One was Teen Titans Go.  I was not familiar with it at all, but once he watched, he was hooked!  He loves the show (to the point where my mom got him Teen Titans Go figurines for part of his Christmas last year.)  I didn't realize how popular it was, until I heard other children talking about it.  Yep, pretty big on the young boys radar!!!!  Lucky for us, they just released Season 2, Part 2: House Pests on DVD.  Might want to grab it now and put it up for...
