I have to tell you, it works! I know that there are days that my mind is always racing... You know how it is... you are ready to go to sleep, but your mind is still going and you can not fall asleep. Lori Lite has the answer! Lori started off creating stories for her own kids. That has now evolved into books and Cd's . In continuing with her company, she has also expanded by now carrying Cd's for teens and adults. The Indigo Dreams CD is composed of 4 parts. The first part is AFFIRMATION. With affirmation, you concentrate on saying positive, feel good messages. Part two is BREATHING. Whenever you need to feel calm and peaceful... This teaches you a calming technique to help with your breathing. I think that this could be my favorite one. I have tried

Homestead Company - Review and Giveaway

Image
I was fortunate enough to receive some amazing products from Homestead Company for review. What makes it better is that one of you lucky readers is going to win a $40 Gift Certificate! How awesome is that? You can use it on yourself... or as a gift! Doesn't get much better than that! Broxton has eczema. The Dr. said it will come and go and that most children outgrow it. He gave me some medicine for him and yes, it does come and go.. Well, The Homestead Company has a really good product that we got to try... They sell Eczema oil. There are several reasons why I like this product. We have been using it for over a week now and I have noticed that the flare ups are not as frequent as before. I also really like the fact that it comes in a roll on tube so that it is easier to apply. (I think that Broxton thinks it is a game, whenever I put it on, he cracks up laughing like it tickles!) The other thing is the fact that it is NATURAL, so I can take comfort when putting

Baby Gift Basket - Review

Image
I was recently sent a security blanket for Broxton from The Baby Gift Basket Co. As soon as I took it out of the box, my mom went nuts! It is the cutest thing! It is a soft little bear / blanket. We are all about naming our toys, so this is Yogi. I will try and get a picture of him, but Broxton is FINALLY taking a nap and I do not want to wake him. This blanket is the softest thing I think I have ever felt. How about it even has a rattle in it? Talk about a 2 for 1 special! They even personalized it and put Broxtons name on it! This is a definite must have for anyone you know with a child! Here is a picture of the one they have on their website. I love all of the diaper cakes that they offer! Whenever Marc and I are expecting again, I know I will be leaving hints to one of these! Which one do you like? I am torn between the FROG / Gund Boy / Silly Safari. (That is IF we get another boy... ) If we have a girl, I would say: Gund or Sweet Safari! Actually all of

Random Tuesday Thoughts

Image
So, as I said earlier... I am going to try to post more often... And with that, here is my contribution to Random Tuesday Thoughts. Check out more at the un mom. To start with.. We went and had a great Thanksgiving with my moms side of the family. It was nice, good food... BUT, once we got home... My brother and I realized that there was NO TURKEY there! How crazy is that? None.. There was ham, but no Turkey on Thanksgiving?! That is like kool -aid with no sugar... Or a cheeseburger with no cheese... Or onion rings with no onions... It JUST AIN'T RIGHT! Speaking of Onion rings with no onions.. No joke, my dads friends kid (this was A LONG time ago... ) We all went out to eat and he seriously ordered onion rings with no onion. He was young, it was cute! On to Tiger Woods... I am glad he is okay. At first I was wondering what happened.. Then, it was not a big deal. But, now... With all the secrecy, I am just a bit NOSY! I wonder if we will really ever know what that is about. Oh

Give Me Five Monday - Meme

Image
Becca has a Monday Meme that I want to take part it. I could not find one for THIS MONDAY, so I took her topic from last Monday... Give Me Five reasons you can be thankful this year. 1. My son. He was born in February and I have to tell you, I LOVE BEING A MOMMY! 2. My husband. Although we are apart in miles, he is ALWAYS in my heart. I can not wait until he is home and I can be in his arms again! 3. My parents. Without them, I think I might go crazy some times... 4. My camera. With that, I am able to keep a pretty good recollection of everything... The birth of Broxton. Seeing Marc off for his deployment. Seeing Broxton grow up. 5. The internet! Without it, I would not be able to talk to Marc... He would not be able to see Broxton growing up... and I would not be able to meet all of y'all!

If anyone wants to help me...

I would LOVE to know how to go about finding all these different Meme's ... I see them on other blogs (but by that point, I am normally late and I don't know if that would be good or not!) I just saw the 5 question Friday one... Umm , hello? It is MONDAY, I kinda missed that one! Ha! So, if anyone knows how to go about finding some and getting going ON THE RIGHT DAY..... Please, give me some comment love and let me know how I can join in on the fun! Also, I saw on another blog about " Daybook " I think... Anyone that wants to explain that to me, I am paying attention! Well, that is it... FOR NOW! I am still learning the blogging world. ( I love it, but want to be more active, that is why I am asking about the Meme's !) Hope everyone has a great day!
