Indigo Dreams Relaxation CD - Review

Who doesn't need to relax from time to time?
I was recently sent an Adult Relaxation Cd from Stress Free Kids for review.

Indigo Dreams Adult Relaxation is perfect for the end of the day.
I have to tell you, it works!
I know that there are days that my mind is always racing...
You know how it is...
you are ready to go to sleep, but your mind is still going and you can not fall asleep.

Lori Lite has the answer!
Lori started off creating stories for her own kids.
That has now evolved into books and Cd's.
In continuing with her company, she has also expanded by now carrying Cd's for teens and adults.

The Indigo Dreams CD is composed of 4 parts.

The first part is AFFIRMATION.
With affirmation, you concentrate on saying positive, feel good messages.

Part two is BREATHING.
Whenever you need to feel calm and peaceful...
This teaches you a calming technique to help with your breathing.
I think that this could be my favorite one.
I have tried to do this before, but the CD helps you so much more.

Part three is VISUALIZATION.
The visualization added with the speakers voice calms you.
I have heard before about colors and the effects it has, but when you hear it this way...
It puts you in a sleepy state that I can not remember when I ever felt that way.

Part four is RELAXATION.
This is the one I listen to after the Breathing..
People have told me to do this to help relax and fall asleep.
I have tried it before and my mind starts to race.
With him talking, it kept me focused and relaxed.

I also like that you do not have to go in order of the CD...
There is no certain order to listen and it seems to work whichever way you listen.

Please head on over and see all the other Cd's that Lori offers.
This would be a great gift to give your loved one..
The gift of relaxation!

Lori has also added a Holiday Stress Tips video on YouTube...
(Never thought about it before, but love the idea of the photo album with the kids!)

It is that time of the week!

As Kailani says,
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

My Aloha Friday Question...
Is ANYONE ready for Army Wives to come back on?!

After the way the season ended, I am already looking forward to it...
I think it doesn't come back on until June! This is going to feel like forever!

I actually started blogging as a way to "talk." Being home with Broxton all day, I was not really getting much of adult conversation... So, I figured I could blog... and if someone wanted to read it, they could. I am trying to get into posting more... Reading other blogs has allowed me to venture into meeting different people and learning so much!
Since I first started, I have found that I am more of a review blogger now.
I have been able to learn about so many products that I had never even heard of!
The companies I have been fortunate to work with are full of great people.

Also through my blogging, I have made friends that are pretty AMAZING! A few of my friends from before the blogging days are on here, so it is also nice to be able to see their kids.. and yes, they are just too cute!

Those that I would like to award are:

BlueViolet at A Nut In a Nutshell - your blog is what makes me laugh every single day...
Lorie at The Shewbridges of Celebration, FL - you are a strong woman and I know that you will make it through Nikolaus' deployment
Joanna at The Casa - Love seeing the girls grow up... and I had NO IDEA she was so crafty!
Hettie at A Little Piece of our Heaven - Another woman strong in her faith and love the updates of Ryan!

I could go on and on with a reason why I love all the blogs I follow..
But, I need to go check on Broxton.

Thanks again Melissa for the award!
I am not sure if I can award it back to you... so I am not going to do it and look stupid!
But, without you, Jumpin Beans would not be here..

Homestead Company - Review and Giveaway

I was fortunate enough to receive some amazing products from Homestead Company for review.
What makes it better is that one of you lucky readers is going to win a $40 Gift Certificate!
How awesome is that? You can use it on yourself... or as a gift!
Doesn't get much better than that!

Broxton has eczema. The Dr. said it will come and go and that most children outgrow it. He gave me some medicine for him and yes, it does come and go..

Well, The Homestead Company has a really good product that we got to try...

They sell Eczema oil.

There are several reasons why I like this product.
We have been using it for over a week now and I have noticed that the flare ups are not as frequent as before.
I also really like the fact that it comes in a roll on tube so that it is easier to apply. (I think that Broxton thinks it is a game, whenever I put it on, he cracks up laughing like it tickles!)
The other thing is the fact that it is NATURAL, so I can take comfort when putting it on his face. (The medicine always worried me, so I was hesitant to use it on his face. )

You can buy the Eczema Oil :
1/3 Ounce is only $5.75
1 ounce is $12.95

From their website:

  • Comes in a convenient roll-on applicator that makes it easy to use and carry wherever you go.
  • Safe for all ages, even newborns.
  • Safe for use around eyes.
  • Relieves itchiness; noticable, visible results possible with consistent daily use.
  • Also helps with psoriasis and other forms of dermatitis.

Melanie is awesome!
She also sent a little something for ME!
She sent the Foot Spa Set.

Talk about relaxation!!!
The lotion is awesome, it really moisturizes (thanks to MY MOM, I have REALLY DRY skin!)
You know how most lotions are all slimy / greasy? Not this!
It goes on and absorbs into your skin...
I know Marc is going to like knowing that my hands are FINALLY getting a little softer!
Especially after washing my hands a million times a day, just rub a dab of this on and you are good to go!
Side note, it smells AWESOME!
It is Peppermint and Eucalyptus. I have to tell you something though...
The smell caught me by surprise the first time I put it on, I immediately wanted to eat something sweet... LOL, it is that YUMMY!
The Hand and Foot Scrub is great! I ended up going and buying a warm pair of fleece socks so that after I use the pumice stone and the Foot Scrub, I could totally relax and put my socks on to keep the pampering going!
You can buy the Foot Spa Set for only $22.49.
( It is currently on sale!)

Here is the website description on the Foot Spa Set:

  • Our all natural Hand & Foot scrub is made with dead sea salt, and raw shea butter. It's sure to soothe dry and cracked skin on hands and feet.
  • Use the Peppermint/Eucalyptus Hand &Foot Lotion to soothe tired feet and help to heal dry skin throughout the day.
  • The pumice stone is great for sloughing away calluses and rough skin.
  • Most lotions have ingredients that actually dry out the skin, causing your skin to need more frequent applications.
  • Once you try our lotion, you will experience the difference, and in the end actually save money.

So, head on over and check out all the wonderful items that they sell!

Baby Gift Basket - Review

I was recently sent a security blanket for Broxton from The Baby Gift Basket Co.

As soon as I took it out of the box, my mom went nuts!
It is the cutest thing!
It is a soft little bear / blanket.
We are all about naming our toys, so this is Yogi. I will try and get a picture of him, but Broxton is FINALLY taking a nap and I do not want to wake him. This blanket is the softest thing I think I have ever felt. How about it even has a rattle in it? Talk about a 2 for 1 special! They even personalized it and put Broxtons name on it!
This is a definite must have for anyone you know with a child!
Here is a picture of the one they have on their website.

I love all of the diaper cakes that they offer!
Whenever Marc and I are expecting again, I know I will be leaving hints to one of these!
Which one do you like? I am torn between the FROG / Gund Boy / Silly Safari.
(That is IF we get another boy... )
If we have a girl, I would say: Gund or Sweet Safari!

Actually all of them.. I love it!

I also really like the Baby Einstein Educational Wagon!

For the new moms in your life, they offer a variety of packages for her too!

If anyone is looking at getting me something...
I am all up for the Double Chocolate Layered Towel Cake OR Moms Escape Kit.

I could go on and on...
But, why don't you just head on over and check out all the great items that they have!

I will post a picture of Broxtons "Yogi" whenever I can...
Like I said, it is just too adorable!

Random Tuesday Thoughts

So, as I said earlier...
I am going to try to post more often...
And with that, here is my contribution to Random Tuesday Thoughts.
Check out more at the un mom.

To start with..
We went and had a great Thanksgiving with my moms side of the family.
It was nice, good food...
BUT, once we got home...
My brother and I realized that there was NO TURKEY there!
How crazy is that?
There was ham, but no Turkey on Thanksgiving?!
That is like kool-aid with no sugar...
Or a cheeseburger with no cheese...
Or onion rings with no onions...

Speaking of Onion rings with no onions..
No joke, my dads friends kid (this was A LONG time ago... )
We all went out to eat and he seriously ordered onion rings with no onion.
He was young, it was cute!

On to Tiger Woods...
I am glad he is okay.
At first I was wondering what happened..
Then, it was not a big deal.
But, now...
With all the secrecy, I am just a bit NOSY!
I wonder if we will really ever know what that is about.

Oh yeah...
Last for the day..
This is more of a rant here:
A few weeks ago, Target had 40 years of Sesame Street on DVD for sale at $9.99
of course, our Target was out of stock. So, I asked for a rain check. The guy quickly told me that it was not a sale price, that was the permanent price, so he could not give me a rain check. I told him that it WAS a SALE price and I wanted the rain check. He said he could not give it to me..
So, I left.
Needless to say, I went back ... It is now $19.99! I asked the "manager/ I can help you with whatever you need" guy if I could get it for the sale price.. ( I even explained my reasoning... )
His response? No, you have to pay $19.99

Other than that...
Hope you have a great day!

Give Me Five Monday - Meme

Becca has a Monday Meme that I want to take part it. I could not find one for THIS MONDAY, so I took her topic from last Monday...

Give Me Five reasons you can be thankful this year.

1. My son. He was born in February and I have to tell you, I LOVE BEING A MOMMY!
2. My husband. Although we are apart in miles, he is ALWAYS in my heart. I can not wait until he is home and I can be in his arms again!
3. My parents. Without them, I think I might go crazy some times...
4. My camera. With that, I am able to keep a pretty good recollection of everything... The birth of Broxton. Seeing Marc off for his deployment. Seeing Broxton grow up.
5. The internet! Without it, I would not be able to talk to Marc... He would not be able to see Broxton growing up... and I would not be able to meet all of y'all!

If anyone wants to help me...

I would LOVE to know how to go about finding all these different Meme's...
I see them on other blogs (but by that point, I am normally late and I don't know if that would be good or not!)
I just saw the 5 question Friday one... Umm, hello? It is MONDAY, I kinda missed that one!
So, if anyone knows how to go about finding some and getting going ON THE RIGHT DAY.....
Please, give me some comment love and let me know how I can join in on the fun!

Also, I saw on another blog about "Daybook" I think...
Anyone that wants to explain that to me, I am paying attention!

Well, that is it...

I am still learning the blogging world. ( I love it, but want to be more active, that is why I am asking about the Meme's!)
Hope everyone has a great day!
