A few Peppa Pig activities to enjoy! #peppapigdvd

Image
We LOVE Peppa Pig and her brother George in this house.  WHY??  (Said in my best George voice.) Well, it is because they are just so cute... and who doesn't like jumping in Muddy Puddles???  I was lucky enough to be sent a Peppa Pig package of goodies in celebration of the newest Peppa Pig DVD and we have been having a great time with it all.  (More about that later.)  Today, I wanted to share with you a few activities that you can print out to enjoy with your little ones.   Just click to enlarge, print and enjoy!  I know we will!    Just an FYI, I think I am going to print the alphabet sheet out, laminate them and make it a memory game too!   How fun would that be? Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. F is for Feelings is a great book that we recently received for review.  Free Spirit Publishing has pulled through again and I think that this is a perfect book for my son as he is just starting Kindergarten. Why now?  Well, he is still coming into his own person... even more so now that he has started "big kid school"  and it actually has opened up conversation for us. F for Feelings goes through the entire alphabet and gives a colorful illustration of the feeling being discussed.  Each feeling comes with one or two sentences to explain the feeling... "A is for AFRAID.  I am scared."    - We were able to talk about when he was afraid and how that feeling moved into another ...

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. I will be the first to admit that there are several words in our vocabulary that are considered "bad words"  just because I was raised that way...  Take the "F-word" for example... (shh.... fart)   When I was a kid that word was just as bad as that other f-word if you asked my grandparents...  so, not even thinking about it... I realize that these words are not to be used by my son... I know some boys like saying "nasty" words like booger and fart, but honestly... my kid brother used to get grossed out by the word "snot" so like I said, words are picked carefully around here... I will admit, I was quite excited to get the Alpha Cards, He's All Boy package... I thought it...

Nickelodeon Encourages Learning With Latest DVD's : Let's Learn

We were sent a couple of the latest DVD's from Nickelodeon. They are both "Let's Learn" with one being 123 and the other being ABC. I was excited, as Broxton has not really watched these characters too much and I love that they are educational.  As soon as the package arrived, he was excited to see the Umizoomi's on the cover.  (We have seen them a few times and he is always so intrigued whenever he watches.) The fact that they use the different characters from Nickelodeon's popular shows to teach and include it all on one DVD is great to me.  He has loved watching the DVD's and I have loved hearing him interact with them.  Hearing and watching with him makes me see just how smart he is!      LET’S LEARN: 123s Kids can count on Nick Jr. friends to make learning math as easy as 1, 2, 3 in these five play dates!
