Gift the gift of #MakingMemories with @cfbhall #hosted #imarealfan

If your house is anything like mine, you have plenty of "things."  Why not change it up this year and give more "memories" or experiences?  We recently had the invitation to go see what all is going on at The College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, Georgia.  The kids and I have been in the past and had a great time, so this time we wanted to invite the biggest College Football Fan we knew... my dad!   The kids were SO EXCITED to get to take him somewhere and it was a trip that they had been looking forward to.   FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Christmas at the Rock Ranch #hosted

Image
If you have been following me on social media, you know that we have been to The Rock Ranch on several occasions and we always have a great time.  We love going to spend the day there.  We try to be the first to arrive (good parking! and more time there) and crazy enough, we seem to be the last ones to leave.  We have gone before Savannah was born, meaning Broxton and even an older brother... and of course now with the little princess of the family.  We were recently invited to visit and check out their "Country Christmas" and I was thankful that we did.  As a mama of 2 on a budget, I was wondering if it would be worth the money and time to go.  I mean, if you go for the DAY, it is great... but just to ride through a mile of lights and drive almost 2 hours to get there, I was not sure on that one!    FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or repr...

Center for Puppetry Arts Upcoming Events

Image
Over Christmas, we were invited to check out another great show from Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta... It was the classic Rudolph and I was so excited!  We had a great time, even with a sick one with us!  (These ear infections are for the birds!)  We ended up leaving early because of that, but it was still awesome and it made watching Rudolph on TV that much more special.  Having said all of that, I wanted to share with you the lineup for things at Center for Puppetry Arts coming up. Sesame Street Live - Worth it all! #SesameStreetLive #MakingMemories

Image
I am telling you, we have had so much negative in our lives lately, it is nice to be able to have a little positive to enjoy!!!  We were recently invited to go and check out Sesame Street Live! Let's Party!  in Duluth, Georgia.  Savannah is in LOVE with Elmo, so I was thrilled that we would be able to attend. FTC Compliant Review Policy:  The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing.  Opinions expressed are my own and were not influenced by monetary compensation.  She basically wasn't feeling well and we almost did not attend.  I decided that as much as she loves Elmo and the crew, I would take her and see how she did.  She slept the whole day and on the way there.  As soon as we walked in the door, she was wide awake and alert and acting like she was not sick at all. It was great, she was dancing and singing and j...

Had a blast at @SesameStLive # SesameStreetLive

Image
This past weekend was a great one, being that I was able to take the kids to see Sesame Street Live!  Let's Party!  As I have mentioned before, Savannah LOVES Elmo, so I was thrilled when I got the invitation to go check out their live show.  I was worried for a bit, since Savannah wasn't feeling well... but the crew on Sesame Street must have made her feel better!      FTC Compliant Review Policy:  The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or reprenting PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing.  Opinions expressed are my own and were not influenced by monetary compensation.  Once the show started, her eyes were glued to the stage. She was laughing and giggling and dancing in her seat the whole time. I will be honest, I didn't even read the information about the show, I just knew that I wanted to take her to see it.  Now that I have been, I am telling you... If you an...

Sesame Street Live - Headed to Duluth, Ga!

Image
When Broxton was younger, he loved Elmo and the rest on Sesame Street.  I was excited when Savannah followed in her brothers footsteps and fell in love with the furry little red guy as well!  You can not even begin to imagine my excitement when I found out that Sesame Street Live!  Let's Party! was headed to Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth!  That meant I could plan a great night with the kiddos and work on my whole "making memories" plan for our life!  FTC Compliant Review Policy:  The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing.  Opinions expressed are my own and were not influenced by monetary compensation.  Savannah has always been a bit on the shy side, so last year when she ran up and hugged Elmo, I knew she had a friend in him!  I can't wait to see her face when she sees him up on the stage!  I just wanted to sh...

Sesame Street K is for Kindness Tour

Image
We are totally in love with Elmo around here.  Savannah seems to call Elmo "lalalala" for the most days, I guess because of the song for Elmo's World.  We always call Elmo by his name, but she still has her own name for him.  Well, I about FLIPPED when I received an email to let me know that the Sesame Street K is for Kindness Pop Up Tour was headed our way!   I know Savannah is going to be so excited to see Elmo and that happiness for her makes my heart smile so big!!! Kidz Bop 32 & Life of the Party Tour... #Alpharetta #Georgia

Image
It is always surprising to people when they get in our car the music that comes from the radio. Broxton is a HUGE fan of the KIDZ BOP CD's and they get plenty of play time in there! Once our passengers realize it is a kid singing popular songs they normally start to sing along, although sometimes they are a bit amazed and they just sit and listen. (It is especially funny to watch the reaction of a teenager.) The songs on the discs are the popular songs that are on the radio today... just CLEAN versions and sang by kids.  That means it is mama approved so we get to enjoy good music without the profanity or the bleeping out of words and phrases.   FTC Compliant Review Policy:   The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary c ompensation . When I saw that Kidz Bop was coming out with versio...
