Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation . Do you have certain holiday traditions that you do each year?  Growing up, I remember ours just like it was yesterday.  We would go to my moms parents house on Christmas Eve, have dinner with moms side of the family and do our gift exchange with my grandparents.  Then, we would load up and drive home.  Once home, we would do Christmas with each other and then go to bed.  The next day, we would go to my dad's moms house and do Christmas with my dads side of the family.  After exchanging gifts with my grandma, we would go home and rest, play with our gifts from everyone and when younger, my grandparents would all come over that afternoon to see what Santa brought us.  Of course the traditi...

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation . With Christmas almost here, I have two final Christmas books for you.  (I tell you, every single time I walk in a store, I am tempted to buy even more... we love books!)  These are two that I know will be a hit for years to come. One is for the younger crowd for sure, but will be enjoyed by all ages.  The other is one for every single age you can imagine, aren't we all kids at heart?   Up first is a cute and fun one...  The Runaway Santa  . We loved it as much as we loved The Runaway Pumpkin that we reviewed for Halloween.  In this book, Santa has so much to do and half of the fun of reading it is to see where Mrs. Claus is hiding on each page.  I wish there was a way to capture...

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. Do you travel during the holidays?  Do you travel throughout the year?  I know when my mom goes on a road trip, she has to have blankets and pillows and everything else under the sun. THAT STUFF ADDS UP for storage space, you know?  Well, there is a solution that we were recently introduced to and I think you guys need to know about it.   It is PillowCape and it is a travel pillow with a blanket too.  If you are not cold, you can turn it into a cape and have a blast playing with it too! As I said, PillowCape is a nice sturdy travel pillow but... they went even further and added a strip of Velcro to each end.  This makes it perfect to keep the blanket in place, if you are looking to catch a...

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. Are you a fan of holiday cards ?  I am a fan of "snail mail" in general and during the holidays, I get so excited every time I go to the mailbox.  I can't say that the rest of the year, since it seems like no one likes to send written letters and all that is in the box is bills or junk mail.  Christmas though, yep...  Every time I see a card, I get all giddy... I love the photo cards, as it is so cute to see the photos that were chosen for the cards.  Growing up, I remember my parents would get so many cards, I loved the thought of the older I got the number of family photo cards that I would receive.  Seems as though facebook and text messaging is killing my dreams man!    Now, mo...

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. I love photos and I am so in love with photos on canvas.  We have a couple photographs that we have hanging up in our house.  (Actually have a few that are not of people, but are beautiful scenery photos that we took that are on our main wall in the living room.)  When Savannah was born, I knew that I really, really, REALLY wanted a nice large photo of her and Broxton - on canvas.  There is just something about a large canvas print. It speaks volumes to me.  Anyways, we had pictures taken of them at the hospital (they change so much those first couple of days!) and I knew that I had the perfect one of them that I wanted blown up large.  Make it even better, I love that it was done in black and ...
