“I participated in Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for  Baby   Mantra . I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.” Created by two sisters on a mission to provide safe and ecologically sound skincare,  Baby   Mantra  is a certified natural, cruelty-free and gluten-free  baby  skincare line that offers environmentally conscious products from ingredients to packaging. All products are made in the U.S. and are inspired by all-natural home-based remedies. I was pretty excited when I learned that I would be getting the Baby Mantra product line for review.  I know that my "baby" isn't technically a "baby" anymore since he is 5 now, but the way I see it, if it is safe enough for a baby... It surely must be safe enough for MY BABY!   Not to mention that he has the eczema starting to flare back up again, so I wanted to try and go ahead and deal with it s...

FTC Compliant Review Policy: The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. I received a Rug Doctor Portable Spot Cleaner sample to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own. *** ALL PHOTOS BELONG TO JUMPIN BEANS BLOG.  *** I was so excited to get an email saying I would be getting a Rug Doctor Portable Spot Cleaner for review.  You can imagine the spills and stains from having a house full of boys...  Some are stains from when certain people don't take their shoes off when walking in the house.. others are spills from beverages / food...   Yes... even on "picnic nights" ON picnic blankets, food stains somehow manage to appear.    In the past, we would try and blot it up - clean it with some carpet cleaner which meant scrubbing away...  Let's...

Are You "Healthing" or Just "Cleaning" #Lysol

Image
The other night on Glee, the episode was about "Guilty Pleasure's" Do you happen to have any because I know I do... I have a slight obsession with the smell of Lysol. Growing up, I remember the daycare that I went to... and later my brother went there as well. They always had Lysol on hand.  Never really knew why, at that age - I thought it had to be to cover up the smell of dirty diapers and stinky, sweaty kids!  I am not sure if that is why I have always trusted the name, but I have always had Lysol on hand... As long as I can remember....  To spray in the bathroom and all over the bathroom. (I am NOT a fan of bathrooms at all!) Actually, Lysol is always around our house...  (Remember, my slight obsession.) When Broxton had the flu, we went through TONS of Lysol. I used it to spray down the remotes, the phones, the door knobs, the light switches... and most importantly... HIS TOYS. We literally laid them out and sprayed... over and over again... ...

Scooby Doo Mystery Workshop

Image
Remember how I told you that Broxton has decided that he is a big Scooby doo fan?  Well, he is going to be getting a couple Scooby doo gifts for Christmas from my parents...  and now, I have learned of the great Scooby Mystery Workshop !   It is a great website for kids to go and click to make a "wish list" for what all they want for Christmas that is Scooby Related. I had to head over and check out the website.  We are already finished Christmas shopping, but Broxton does have a birthday in February, so we can plan ahead!  I had NO CLUE what all they had as far as Scooby Doo Products!!! I figured they would have the plush toys, but I had no clue all the other items! The Mystery Workshop actually has 50 items that kids can click on and add to their wish list. (Plush toys to ornaments, figurines to bedding!!!!) Then, you just let them click and add them to the list.. After that, you can choose to print the list... Or you can email it! What a great wa...

Spread #Cheer this Season! The USO and Cheerios are Teaming Up!

Image
I am not sure exactly how many of you personally know someone that has deployed or is being deployed, but let me tell you, the USO is a great organization that is there to help. The USO has been around for what seems like a million years. It not only provides support for those serving, but also for the loved ones left behind. I will never forget being in the Atlanta airport and seeing the USO stand waiting there to greet the service members. It was a feeling that makes me so very proud to be an American. Once I became an "Army Wife" I got to see first hand how supportive the USO is. Marc has a toiletry bag that the USO gave all of them. It wasn't just the bag, it had the necessities in it: Soap, razor, shampoo, deodorant, lotion, chap-stick and more! He even said that before they deployed, the USO had an area set up to allow them to grab things they needed before they left the states. If the soldier has a layover when coming for R & R, they can take advantage of the ...

Back to School with T.J.Maxx

Image
When I think of back to school shopping, I immediately start thinking of what all we need. One thing, clothes!!! I hate to admit it, but I never thought about T.J.Maxx and Marshalls carrying more than clothes! I did not know that they had book bags and lunchboxes! I was able to join up with the campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of T.J. Maxx and Marshalls to go and see what I could find. I decided that we would check out T.J.Maxx, as I had not been to this one yet. I first of all went to the infant/toddler section. I guess it was out of habit, as I knew that I was there to get clothes for the older boys. The clothes and prices for Broxton was great! They had the outfit sets (I love those, as it makes it easier for Marc to dress him when they are like that! LoL !) They had adorable pajama's and a decent selection of toys!!! Then, I snapped out of it (remembering Marc was in the car... he is NOT a shopper!) and we headed to the older kids area. Well, let me back track. ...

Neutrogena Wet Skin - Review

Image
I have finally figured out part of my problem... I am lazy. Or maybe I just get to excited. Or maybe both. Okay, I am sticking with getting too excited, the lazy just doesn't sound that great... Especially when you hear what I am talking about. You know how I have complained about getting sunburned? Mostly it is because I do not remember to apply sunscreen. But then again... SOMETIMES, I do apply... But then, I forget to reapply. Think about it... Who really wants to get sunscreen all over them... Then wait like 20 minutes until they can get in the pool. (That is another dislike I have) I have found the quick and easy solution! Neutrogena has read my mind! They have... They REALLY have! Let me tell you. I received the new Neutrogena Wet Skin Sun Spray for review. We went to the pool the other day. I grabbed it and threw it in the bag with our towels. We got to the pool and right as I went to get in the water, I remembered the spray! I grabbed it and sprayed... Shoulders, chest, ...

Tylenol - New Changes and Improvements Heading Our Way

Image
As a mom, I try and do anything and everything in my power to make sure to take care of Broxton as best as I can. I know when I was pregnant, I was so worried that I would not know what to do, or what was right. Sure, I had my ups and downs (still do!), but I call it learning! With that in mind, I knew that I would follow along my moms path and go with the name of familiarity. That being said, TYLENOL would be in our medicine cabinet. Not that I hoped to ever need it, but "just in case." I figure, if it was good enough for my mom to give to me... and Broxton's doctor to give to him.. Then it was the name we trusted to keep on hand! We have always depended and trusted in Tylenol. Did you know that they are rolling out new changes and improved Tylenol? They should be hitting the shelves as soon as this cold and flu season. I for one am very happy about this, as it has been hard for me to find a medicine with the same trust as Tylenol for us. Just what are the Tylenol Upd...

Dr. Scholl's Custom Fit Orthodics - Review

Image
Every single time we go to Wal -Mart, I see the Dr. Scholl's Custom Fit Orthodic kiosk . I have wondered who actually buys them, as I never see anyone on the machine. I looked at the price and thought they were a bit steep for just a random pair of shoe inserts... According to Marc... I am wrong. These are not "just a random pair of shoe inserts." Working with Mom Central, I was able to review a pair of the Custom Fit Orthodics and since I am such a wonderful and loving wife... (Okay, since I stay home with Broxton and Marc goes to work on his feet...) I thought it would be great to let Marc be the one to try them out. We went to Wal -Mart, as that is where I always see the kiosk... You can click here to see where one is located close to you ... You just go up and stand there on the machine. They ask you a few questions... It makes you stand on one leg at a time... (They have bars to hold onto, so its not like you are going to fall over when you lose your balance! It...

Old London works for me! - Review

Image
Have you ever heard of Old London? Melba Toast? Ring a Bell yet? Well, I am not going to lie... I had never heard of them, until last year. My mom bought a box and I quickly decided that I was in love! I had to try all of the Melba Toast and I quickly decided that I loved the Sourdough and the Sesame the most. So delicious! It was also so nice to have in the pre -packaged packs! Whew, at least they could tell me when to stop enjoying! I was happy to see that I would have the chance to participate in the Mom Central Old London Blog Campaign. Now, I already knew I loved Old London, but I did not know what else they offered! Now I do! Also, Broxton had to help me review them... He enjoyed every bite just as much as I did! I think that the Bagel Chips might become a regular in our pantry! I enjoyed the Spicy Cheddar, but I really want to try the other flavors offered as well! (French Onion, Garlic & Herb and Sea Salt) We enjoy our Old London variety plain... But, I have also enjoyed t...
