Robots are pretty cool to me, but lets be honest, it is the kid creations of robots that I love the most.  We were recently sent a Time for Kids Explorers - Robots for review and I hate to say it... but it made me happy and sad at the same time. It was neat to see the robots of the past --  an automatic man in the 1900's (to pull a carriage)...  a "robot" from a play in the 1920's...  the list goes on and on... I thought that was neat, but then I started seeing the robots around today... Fireman robots, Police officer robots, even soldier robots.  I think that is neat, but at the same time, the more the robots do things, the less need of actual humans ... then what will we be around for? ...

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. Do the little kids in your life ask plenty of questions?  Do you remember the kids in your life asking about everything when they were growing up?  I know that mine does!  Every day is filled with plenty of questions and I try my best to answer them.  I will admit, I am not one that knows it all and I will not try to act like I do (thank GOODNESS for the internet!)  One of the latest books we were recently sent is perfect for us... Time for Kids - X Why Z Animals ---  Little Kids Ask.  We Answer. YES!  Just what I need!     As with most books I love, it is a hard backed book, that has 96 brightly photographed pages to amuse and delight children of all ages...   T...

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. Yesterday, I shared that I wanted to do a book countdown for Christmas (credit goes to wherever I saw it online to start with, I can not remember now where it was) The book yesterday was also from Time for Kids...  It was X Why Z ...   (geared for kids 4-6 years old, although I enjoyed reading it myself... I always knew I was a kid at heart!) Today, Time for Kids - Big Book of Why : Crazy, Cool and Outrageous . I can not seem to seem to find an age on this one, so I am not sure what age it is geared to. All I do know is that it is pretty crazy, cool and outrageous!!!!  Contents: Human Body - Body Parts, Body Systems, Senses, Emotions, Gross Stuff, Diseases Animals - In the Wild, Reptiles...

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. With all the social websites these days, I am not sure where I saw it first...  Facebook?  Pinterest?  Blog?  A random website?   Anyways, I saw where parents were taking books...  YES BOOKS  and wrapping them up...  Then, they did a countdown to Christmas and each night they let the kids unwrap a book.   I love this idea... you know how much we love books here.. I have now decided that I want to try this with Broxton this year... and I think it will be fun with some of the books to have when his brothers are here!   I will say, I have not decided if I am going to go with 25 books or just 12...    I also have not decided the order of...

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. I am not sure if I told you or not, but Broxton is taking Karate classes... He loves it and although he is the "baby" of the group, he tries to handle his own... The last time he had class, one of the "older kids"  (age 6)  made a comment about being 6 and having a phone to play on... he responded that he had a tablet.... Why am I telling you this?  Because this week, he felt that he needed to bring something "cool" in to show his classmates! You know what he took? Time for Kids - Dinosaurs 3D  - One of the latest books he has been reviewing!!! He was so excited! When the book first arrived, the two of us looked at it...  Then, he had Marc look at it with him... I wish I had be...

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. I love trivial things... That must be why I was so excited when the Big Book of Where from Time For Kids showed up... I knew that Marc and I would enjoy it... I was glad that the boys were here, as we had a great time reading and guessing the different things...  The Big Book of Where was very informative of 801 Facts Kids Want to Know!!! I know one thing, everything these days is a question and a discussion with Broxton.. I love that he is so curious, but sometimes, I just do not know the answer and he won't take "I am not sure" for an answer when I am driving...  Time for Kids - Big Book Of Where Chapters: Home North America South America Europe Asia Africa Australia and Oc...
