Have you been to see Santa yet?  We were invited to go and check out the Adventure To Santa at North Point mall here recently and we had a great time.  Broxton was in school, so Savannah and I headed out for a "girls" trip. Have you ever heard of Adventure to Santa?  It really is pretty cool!!!! I think his favorite part was when the snail ( voiced by Snoop Dog) says "Slow Motion Baby!"   Well....   Guess what?! Turbo is being released November 12th and I personally think that it will make a great gift idea for kids of all ages!   My problem is deciding what to do... save it for a Christmas gift, or go ahead and open it up now to watch again?  ( I tell you, we loved it!) Last year, Broxton saw a preview for the movie, Rise of the Guardians.... That started him wanting to see the movie.  We never made it to the theater to watch it, so when he started seeing the advertisements for it being released on DVD (March 12th, 2013) I knew we would be trying to see it soon.  I will admit, I also wanted to see the Movie, it just had something that drew me to it... We had the chance to review it and I am telling you.. This is a MUST HAVE for any Easter gift you might be thinking... We tried watching it the other night with my family and I just could not get into it... I was totally lost...   I was starting to think that I was going to be disappointed in the movie.  We turned it off with all plans for me to watch it later... Once Broxton and I returned home, I put it on again... This time with the caption on too, as I was having a hard time hearing it.  I am not sure if it was just because it was turned down low at my parents house or...

 A couple of weeks ago, we watched How to Train Your Dragon for the first time... I am really not sure why we took so long to watch it, but I am glad we finally saw it...   It was a great movie.. Now, it seems like those kids and those Dragons are always making me laugh. We were sent a DVD with the different characters of DreamWorks movies and I hate to admit it, we watched it twice.  We laughed (once again) with the kids and dragons from the How to Train Your Dragon movie... Then, we laughed harder at those crazy animals from the Madagascar Movies... Finally, poor ol' Shrek tries to give Fiona a Christmas to remember with Donkey being Donkey... Broxton was laughing (until he noticed they changed the lyrics to the Christmas songs he is learning and he was not very happy they sang it wrong... so we sang his version louder and all was okay again!)   I laughed and noticed I was laughing at parts that I did not catch the first time around... SY...

We all absolutely LOVED the first Kung Fu Panda, so when I saw that the second one was about to come out, I was hoping to get the chance to review it. We watched it here one night... I kept wanting to watch, but Broxton kept telling me that we had to wait for daddy to watch.  It was so funny, he even had to go put the DVD under the tree until Marc was home... So, we finally got to watch and it was another great movie. I will say that I felt like it wasn't as funny as the first one... It was still good, but it had a more serious tone than the original. In this movie, Po goes to China to help out... While there, he learns of his origins... Think about it, we never knew in the first one how he came to be where he was... This is a great movie and you can also get it as a 2 disc set... With the second one, you can also purchase the set which will include the Secrets of the Masters DVD.
