It's fall, y'all!  The weather is getting cooler, the leaves are changing colors and football season is in full swing!  Yes, its a wonderful time of the year!   I have never been an avid coffee drinker, I leave that to my mom and dad that both can not seem to function without at least one cup to start their day. That doesn't mean that I don't enjoy a nice cup from time to time, but I will be honest with you... I just can not get into the whole drinking HOT coffee when it is HOT outside.  Cooler weather, yes please!
I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with Community Coffee in reviewing some of their K-Cups in the past and today I get to tell you about a few more (among other things!)

Some time ago, I learned that not every child owns a book.  It breaks my heart to hear this, as I love to read and love sharing my love of books to Broxton.  We have a great collection of books and it is fun to add more to our ever growing library.  We were recently sent a few new ones for us to review and now I get to share them with you.

In one book, Sewing Stories, we get to learn of an artist named Harriet Powers.  This book tells us of her birth and her years from a slave to an artist through quilting.  Slaves were not taught to read nor write, so they told their stories by sewing. (I did not know that.)  This was a very educational story for me to read and I know that many others will enjoy the story and illustrations…

Not just because of Halloween coming up, although that adds to it.  It is because every where you turn is zombie this and zombie that.  They even play zombie at school at recess some days!   At least around here they do.  When we were sent the book, I want to eat your books by Karin Lefranc and Tyler Parker, I knew it was going to be a hit with Broxton!   (He has not received it yet.  We will be reading this as one of his reading books this week.)
In this book, we meet a Zombie on the very first page.  The thing is, it looks like a zombie, but it isn't a scary looking one, meaning it is great for the younger audienc…
