We have seen the Doctor more than relatives.  Since right before Halloween until now, at least 2 people in the house have been sick.  That means many doctors appointments, many hours of crying (mama and her babies) and of course lots of snuggles and sleep.  That being said, the blog has really suffered, so thank you for staying with me through it all.  As of now, babies are okay and it is just mama that is still sick. Hope that changes soon! I guess I really should take a look at all this talk about oils.  (I will save that for another day, a bit too much else going on right now.)   We are almost in December, so you know what that me...

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation . Have you ever heard of the brand, Feltman Brothers ?  I didn't know anything about it, until Broxton was born and someone gave us one of their outfits.  To say I fell in love would be an understatement. Growing up, my grandmama made our clothes and yep, she even knew how to smock.  I think clothing with smocking are absolutely beautiful, but they can get rather pricey. We were lucky that she was able to smock (*and save lots of money) I am not so lucky now, as far as her sewing abilities.  She is 90 something years old and no longer sews...  So, if I want a cute little smocked outfit, I have to buy one or have someone give me one...   I was SO EXCITED when I learned I would have th...

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation . There are some classics that just never get old. For our house, Tom and Jerry is one of them.  I grew up watching Tom and Jerry, I can remember watching it at Day Care while we all waited for our parents to pick us up. Through the years of watching, I never realized that Tom actually spoke in an episode.  I learned that this week, if you want to know how long that took me to figure out!  Wow.  Talk about being surprised!  (We were watching a marathon on TV and in one episode, he was singing and talking, Broxton and I were both totally shocked!)  Well, now we have a new DVD to add to our collection and I am so excited!  This could also make for a great Fathers Day gift for a little nostal...

Time to let you in on a secret.  I have never played with Tinker Toys before!  I have seen them talked about for as long as I can remember, but physically playing with them has never happened in this house.  I knew it was a house hold name (just not our house) and then I almost fell out of my chair when I learned that Tinker Toys were founded in 1913. What?!  They already celebrated their 100 year birthday?  I didn't have a clue... But come December 25th, I will be immersed into the word of Tinker Toys!!!!  Yep!  Broxton is getting this set for Christmas!  I love when he gets toys like thi...

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. Santa's Magic Toy Bag might be a family favorite for some of you, but for me it was a totally new movie to get to watch with Broxton.  I thought he would enjoy the puppetering of it all, but he really had nothing to do with it.  He was playing with his toys... and would watch this from time to time.   He did follow along with the storyline, but other than that.. He just really wasn't into it.  I believe that if this is a classic from your childhood, you will love the trip down memory lane. Let me know if this is a movie you have watched before!   Image Credit - IMDB Parents will once again enjoy these beloved, 1980s,  holiday puppet specials – not seen since their original Showti...

FTC Compliant Review Policy: I will be receiving a review copy.   Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. As a redhead, I always had  a special love for Ariel in The Little Mermaid.  I remember my mom even giving me a little Ariel figurine (In my teens) because of us both being redheads!  There is something special about us, I tell you what!  Oh, did I mention that I used to own the Soundtrack?  Yep!  I don't care how old you get...  Nothing better than singing "Kiss the Girl"  or "Part of your World"  Well, having a little boy, I never really thought much about introducing him to this great classic ...   Until the previews have been on television and he stops what he is doing to watch it...  That was when it hit me... He needs... no, he  NEEDS to see this! He might not care less about Ariel... (since girls are just "girls" right now) but the story?  The whole un...
