 If you know anyone what so ever that loves Toy Trains... I have THE. BEST. GIFT. EVER. to tell you about.  Broxton loves trains and he will watch video of real or toy ones... It does not matter... You can tell by his love of trains that we watch all the time.  When I heard of the DVD set, Lots and Lots of Toy Trains, I knew Broxton would love it. We already have one DVD that he watches, so I was ready for his excitement. When I put the new DVD on, he was NOT very happy.  It was not the one he normally watched, so he wanted me to turn it off.  I didn't, so he watched for a few more minutes and was hooked!!!! We actually took Volumes 1 and 2 on a road trip with my dad.  I did not know how Broxton was going to do riding for such a long trip and I did not know how my dad or his friend would like riding with a kid, so I was trying to be prepared.    We packed the new DVDs, a couple of true favorites, books and other activities for the trip...

Broxton is starting to venture out more as far as having new "favorites" but I do not think that cars, trains and dinosaurs are going anywhere anytime soon!  He was so excited when he looked into the package that arrived the other day... He spotted Buddy and knew that he had a new Dinosaur Train DVD to watch.   Well, we finally were able to watch it and it did not disappoint! From the educational stand point to the fun of learning and the music... How can you NOT love the Dinosaur Train? The DVD starts out with Buddy, Shiny, Tiny and Don trying to figure out what to get their mom for her birthday... They discuss cleaning the nest... One mentions scrubbing their feet, since Mom always wants them too... but dad comes along and tells them of a big surprise he has in store... Well, typical young kid fashion... the secret slips out almost as soon as mom gets home... So, they go ahead and tell her of her birthday surprise...  A ride on the Dinosaur Train as...

Just in time for the holidays!!!! Broxton has a somewhat new obsession... We have watched the DVD "I love toy trains" and he enjoyed it... Now, it is an obsession. He wants to watch it every single time he can. To the point that he watched it more than once on our road trip this past weekend! It really is pretty neat! It shows you the toy trains... Broxton enjoys it because it has trains loading up candy and stuff. I like it that even though it talks about trains, they ask trivia... Like they discuss Mount Rushmore, then ask you to remember who is carved in the side.. It is great for Broxton and I always smile as soon as he starts singing the All Aboard Song... *Marc does too! Smile that is, not sing :) If you have a lover of trains, Thomas or anything like that... I know that they will be totally enthralled with the I Love Toy Trains Series...
