As a HUGE fan of The Little Mermaid (yes, in my thirties and I will still watch it like its the first time... ) I was so excited to hear that they had released a 2 movie collection of that lovable Mermaid!!! In the 2 movie collection, we have The Little Mermaid Ariels Beginning... and then The Little Mermaid II Return to the Sea. We watched the Ariels Beginning the other night... I was in LOVE!!!!  We get to meet Ariel as just a little young mermaid.... and see her and her sisters.  We get to meet Ariels mom... and see Ariel meet Flounder for the first time! We have not watched The Return to the Sea yet... but I am planning on watching it soon! If it is anything near as cute

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. Remember my post about Percy Jackson?  How I said I had a story to tell you... Well here we go... The other night, Broxton and I had an amazing time!!! We were invited to the Georgia Aquarium to work with the release of the latest Percy Jackson Movie Blu-Ray / DVD  and team up with Project Linus and UPS!!!   What happened? As I said, we went to the Aquarium... and Broxton was immediately mesmerized!!! Getting a picture was like pulling teeth, he wanted to look the other way... Wonder why?! Broxton on the "red carpet"  before the event started...  Hello!!! Stephanie L. Schlund  (of Hunger Games: Catching Fire) was there!!!  Seems that she is really into giving back to charities and those that have

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. A couple of days ago we watched The Lone Ranger.   Talk about a great movie.  Honestly, I knew nothing about The Lone Ranger, prior to the buzz on this one... and let me be honest, I just wanted to see it because Johnny Depp was in it.  I told Marc that I thought Johnny Depp was an amazing actor, no matter what role he is in, he kills it... and for me, The Lone Ranger was no different.   When it first started though, I was totally lost...  I am not so sure what I thought about the flashback from the museum scene to the adventure that tells the story of The Lone Ranger... I know that there has to be symbolism in there some way or another, but it was lost on me...   Besides that (and let me be clear, i

Looking for a great personalized souvenir?  Maybe you own a business?  Maybe you want to buy these for a big event?  Well, when I was at Americas Mart, I learned of a pretty awesome company.. The RGU Group !  They make bulk items for companies.  (Think of like the animals from companies with their logo... Yes, this is them.. but the product isn't some cheap filler item!  It is a good quality product that you would buy individually in a store.) Broxton now has a teddy bear that he absolutely LOVES...   It says I (heart) RGU! I was rather impressed with the options... They have several plush items, Broxtons teddy is from their ZOOVENIR line. They also have a selection including alligators, frogs, lions, penguins

I just wanted to let you know that Percy Jackson- Sea Of Monsters will be available to own tomorrow, December 17th.  Now, I have not seen this movie, but I do know that several friends with kids older than Broxton were talking about it being a great series of books/movies, so I am sure more people know about it.  Anyways - The story I want to tell you (but not tonight... maybe Wednesday?)  will tell you more... but, I can say this...  We had a great time tonight... and part of it was a showing of Percy Jackson.  I did not watch it, as I wanted to be able to watch from start to finish... But I know Broxton zoned in and watched while we were there.. and the

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. When Broxton was born, it was hard for us at times...  I tried breast feeding and it did not work for us...  so, we had bottles out the wazoo!   You know hotels don't have stoves (to sterilize the bottles)  and when we were travelling to see Marc (before he deployed) there were many nights in a hotel... What did I do? I took a TON of bottles with me and was lucky if they had a microwave, I could use my sanitizer...  But, that meant even MORE stuff to carry and that was hard to do...  You know, solo... plus a newborn!!! Of course, now that Broxton is way beyond bottle years, I learn of Steri-bottle . Steri-bottle is a single use bottle that is sterilized and ready to go!!! The packaging

I used to laugh at infomercials...   Until I had Broxton...  Now, he thinks that he just HAS to have every single thing he sees on the TV... and you know, he gets it from me... I know it... as I am the same way...  As soon as an infomercial comes on, I zone in and I know that I just need to have it... Because honestly, it would make my life so much better by having it... I just know it...  I have bought a few things that were total jokes, but I have bought a few that were pretty nifty too!   I have also reviewed a couple that make life easier (I still swear by my meatloaf pan!)   We were sent the Wraptastic for review and at first, I thought it was going to be another gimmick.  If you think abo

Until December 21st, those that are in Atlanta can go visit Santa someplace special...  In a CASTLE!!!  That is right, right in Atlanta on Peachtree Street.   Broxton was pretty excited about seeing the Castle and truth be told, I was excited as well... I had never been in there before, so I wanted to check it out!   The "Castle on Peachtree Street" is also known as Rhodes Hall and it is part of the Georgia Trust of Historic Preservation.   During the month of December, it hosts Santa on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and allows for families to make one of a kind memories during the hustle and bustle of the holidays. You do pay $38 per family, but a benefit is that parking is FREE and that is hard to
