Aloha Friday #10
It is Friday!
We know what that means...
As Kailani says:
"In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

My ALOHA....
You know that baby toys can be pretty expensive, depending on what you get them...
And you hear about at Christmas how they end up playing with the boxes and the wrapping paper more than the toy you bought...
So, my question to you is:
What is the "cheapest toy" your baby liked?
With Broxton, I finished drinking a bottle of water and he heard the sound the plastic made...
He was amazed by it! I ended up putting it on the ground and he STILL plays with it!
It rolls everywhere... It makes noises!
Talk about a great "toy"!!!!!!

My son loves paper towel rolls. They make great drum sticks, elephant noses, horns, etc...
ReplyDeleteThey actually liked the homemade stuff the best.

I have to say that the cheapest "toy" Emily ever liked was last christmas my sister bought her a bunch of books and put them in a gift bag with tissue paper. The tissue paper was a BIG hit. She could crunch it and tear it. She had so much fun! ;0)
ReplyDeleteIt is very true...don't go nuts and buy a lot of big toys for small children. I can remember having to stretch Christmas out over several days for out oldest daughters first Christmas. Kind of disappointing for the parent.
ReplyDeleteSimple toys like the phone with the pull cord or the corn popper as always hits.
My son LOVES playing with boxes and those paper towel rolls!
ReplyDeleteThe cheapest were things I made. I fill water bottles with beads and small things and then glue the tops on. My babies always loved that. They also loved things like old remotes or phones. lol
ReplyDelete(following you now.. cute blog!)
ReplyDeleteMine always loved clothes and books.
ReplyDeletedefinitely a box. the bigger, the better. i brought home a new washer and the box it came in served as a "fort" for months! we cut windows out and a door. very, very cool.
ReplyDeleteI would have to say a ball or a balloon. Cheap and hours of fun. (those are after a box)
ReplyDeleteRyan loves my cell phone, but that is not necessarily a cheap toy!!!!!!! lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by JDaniel4's Mom. My husband's family lives in Evans, GA.
ReplyDeleteWithout question, it's boxes of any kind!
ReplyDeletePots and pans!
ReplyDeletesometimes I get my vitamin bottles out! the ones with secure tops and my twins go crazy shaking them!! They also love my water bottles!
