Random Tuesday Thoughts

So, today is Tuesday...
Randomness it is then!

To start with...
If you have not seen MY SISTERS KEEPER, you should definitely watch it!
Have the tissues handy!
I love Jodi Picoult.
Her books are great!

Moving along, I do not know about y'all, but I watched the hangover the other night with my little brother, I was LAUGHING OUT LOUD, like, for real! It was too funny! Now, this movie is not for everyone, so do not go and rent it just because I said so... but for some of you, YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Speaking of not for everyone...
Have you heard all the hoop-la over this new show on MTV, called Jersey Shore?
Well, we watched it the other night...
I hate to say it, but come on now...
These people are killing me!
They say it is supposed to be all about "the Jersey Shore" and representing "Italian Americans", Ummmmmmmmmmmmm I DO NOT THINK SO!
My family is Italian, my husband is Italian... This in NOWAYWHATSOEVER represents ANY of us...
Top it all off, one of the GIRLS on the show gets punched IN THE FACE by some random GUY! Needless to say, MTV blacks it out, so that you can not see the actual punch, but you can You Tube it and see it...
That is just so sad...

Anyways, I have been SICK as a dog...
I got it, and lovingly I passed it on to my mom, dad, brother and Broxton.
Broxton and I are on meds...
The others are just now getting sick, so they are still trying to deal with it with no medication or with over the counter stuff...

    I haven't seen "Jersey Shore," but I've heard a lot about the controversy. Is it a scripted show or a "reality" show?

    Oh my gosh, Jersey Shore. It's like a train wreck. It's about as bad as "Bad Girls Club" on Oxygen.

    I haven't seen My Sister's Keeper, I KNOW I'll cry my eyes out, so I have to wait until I'm ready for that one. I know I won't like The Hangover, not my kinda movie, but glad you liked it.
    I have seen promos for Jersey Shore and I hear Jay Leno make fun of it all the time, he even had some of the "stars" on for his Jaywalking bit - they are so stupid! I know that it does NOT represent true Italian-Americans, my step-children are part Italian.
    I hope you guys feel much better soon, I would hate to think of that poor little guy as being sick, he is too cute. {and you, too :-) }

Fire Fly Toothbrushes - #giveaway

Is it a hassle to get your younger kids to brush their teeth? Broxton loves it and asks throughout the day if he can go and brush his... Now that he has a new toothbrush!!! We were sent a couple toothbrushes from Fire Fly Toothbrushes and I just love the concept! With Fire Fly, they light up! You just press the button and they light up for a solid minute. What we do here is a little system. First, Broxton brushes his teeth for the first minute. (just a teeny bit of toothpaste) Then, I brush the next minute (once again, minimal toothpaste.)
