Aloha Friday # 17 Autograph?
Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggyfriends!
My Question this week...
Do you have any celebrities autograph? Or, is there any celebrity that you would like to meet?
I have some autographs... I think my best story would be when I was like 16. My cousin and I snuck in to meet.... PATRICK DUFFY! LoL, you know... from Dallas?! Well, we met him and he wanted to know how we got it.. we told him we snuck in and he told us to be careful, that we could get in trouble.. He then proceeded to tell us to call him UNCLE PATRICK so that no one would think anything! We got our pictures with him, got his autograph.. then said, goodnight Uncle Patrick, it was great seeing you!
CLASSIC!
My ex got an autograph from a Dallas Cowboys player he met a few times, and we gave it to my nephew for Christmas. I rode an elevator with the owner of the Green Bay Packers, and talked the whole time, but didn't know until I was "schooled" when we stepped off. I've seen Emmet Smith, Dion Sanders, Bret Farve, etc. I even saw John Laroquette one time in front of the Hard Rock Cafe. He laughed at me. I've never really been big on autographs. I'm always afraid it's a bother to the celeb being asked. :)
ReplyDeleteI met Paula Deen. But we went to her house with my friends husband (who works with her husband). So I didn't want to be a "fan" at that time. No autograph, no picture. But she did kiss Brian because he said he was her biggest fan. I'm just glad he didn't ask her to make him some food.
ReplyDeleteI gave the autographs of several children's authors in books. Eve Bunting and Steven Kellog.
ReplyDeleteNow, before I tell you this, you have to promise not to break into my house and steal it from me......but, I have Jordan Knight's autograph. lol My grandpa had jury duty in ATL and he was at the courthouse.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember getting an autograph and if I did it must not have been that important! LOL I would love to meet Dolly Parton...She is my hero and my kid loves to dance to any of her songs! ;0)
ReplyDeleteThat is too cute! I have Robert DeNiro's autograph. I was working at an optomotrist/optician's office in a city where he was filming a movie. He needed glasses for the movie nad came into our store to be fitted for them. I walked out of the lady's room and walked right into his chest - he's kind-of short. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry I'm late! Happy Aloha Friday!
ReplyDeletePatrick Duffy was so cute. Good story and autograph, too. I don't have any autographs from celebrities that I know of. I would love to meet Brad Pitt!
I have an autograph from Klaus Miene (sp?) Scorpions- singer. Whooooo, lol. Not many more other than that.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any celebs autograph, however I'd love to meet....hmm so many choices. I'll settle with Oprah for selfish reasons :)
