Spinning Forward - Book Review

I just finished a really great book!
I wanted to get up and write this post last night, but then...
Of course, Broxton woke up..
So, that was put off until today...
Then, today has been one thing after another, so I am FINALLY getting it posted now...

Debut author, Terri DuLong, really shows what she is made of!
I am anxiously awaiting the next book!

Spinning Forward takes us to Cedar Key, Florida as Sydney Webster tried to find herself.
Living in Boston, Sydney realizes that with the death of her husband, there is so much that she needs to figure out. Luckily, she has a best friend that provides the support needed to try and do so, in Cedar Key. Is moving to Cedar Key the answer? You have to read the book to find out! This book does show the atmosphere of smaller towns. Having gone to a college where everyone knew EVERYTHING about you the moment it happened, I could totally relate to the surprise Sydney had as the townspeople knew things so quickly. (I am sure Boston was NOTHING like this!)
The self discovery that takes place with Sydney proceeds to open so many more doors. The journey of her emotional self as well as physical and financial is something that we get to watch unfold before our eyes.
The characters were so vivid, I felt more like I was a fly on the wall, versus reading the book!
I loved this book! The characters, you loved them... you wondered about them... I could feel myself falling into this book, you know the page turner where you have to know what happens next? The one where you are just as mad at what is going on as the actual characters?!

I am so glad that I got the chance to review this book!
Please go and check out her website.

*****I was sent a complimentary copy of Spinning Forward for my personal review. I did not receive any monetary compensation for this review. This is my own personal opinion. *****
