I used to wear contacts all the time...

Then, my eyes started to suffer.

Working in a smoky bar did not help, I started wearing my glasses more and more.

Then, it turned into wearing contacts only when going out or if I was going to be in the car for a bit (had to be able to wear sunglasses then!)

I finally got a new pair of glasses before Marc deployed...

Nope, my prescription did not change, I was just so tired of the lenses...

My previous lenses were pretty old!
I should have kept the old ones.

These glasses were super expensive and the least favorite of all the glasses I have ever had.

I said I wanted to go and get a new pair, but as we all know, glasses are not cheap!!!!

That was until I found out about eyebuydirect.

The big one for me was material...

They have: Plastic, Metal, Flexlite, Titanium.

I went with plastic.

I learned the hard way that the materials mess up my skin.

Where the glasses touched my face (at my temple) I kept having a green line, I was told that it was a reaction with the material and me... hmmm... Okay, plastic it is then!

The most exciting thing for me...

Virtual Eye Try!
You scan a picture of you (without glasses of course!)

Then, you pick the glasses you want to see and they put them on your picture!
You get to try them on from home..

Yeah, you can sit in your p.j.'s and try on the different styles.

When you are ready to order, make sure you have your glasses prescription handy.

You need to know all that stuff, I don't know what it means, but it helps to make your glasses correctly! :)

Then, once your order is placed, you will have your glasses in about 2 weeks!
How awesome is that?

The only thing?

I have been wearing the thin glasses for so long, it is taking a bit to get used to the frames having the fuller sides! Ha ha!
I am not used to not being able to use more of my peripheral vision!

I think I am pretty used to them now, but the first couple of days?! hello!
