Karate Kid meets Fast and Furious in Brick Mansions. I wanted to watch it, since it had Paul Walker in it and I just love him... (Rest in Peace, hate that such a great actor is gone.) I guess this was the last movie he finished filming before he died... Anyways... I was excited to see this movie and it did not disappoint. I watched it after putting Broxton to bed and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I was a bit confused in the start, since I did not read the synopsis beforehand... I tell you, I saw "PAUL WALKER" and that was all it took...
The movie starts with Paul Walker in a meeting with a few big wigs.. but quickly we head to following "Lino" as he jumps, kicks, flies and does whatever he has to do not be caught by the Drug Lords of Brick Mansions... I will say it again and again... FAST PACED!!!! It was only an hour and a half, but it felt like it went by to quickly for me! This is one I will be watching again soon! I just had to go ahead and tell you about it now, it is that good!

SYNOPSIS:Fast & Furious star Paul Walker takes it to the limit in this gritty thrill-ride packed with high-flying Parkour stunts. Walker stars as Damien, an undercover cop determined to bring down Tremaine (RZA), the crime lord who murdered his father. Tremaine rules the violent criminal compound known as “BrickMansions,” but he’s thwarted at every turn by a heroic ex-convict named Lino (David Belle). Their paths never should have crossed, but when Tremaine kidnaps Lino’s girlfriend, Damien and Lino become unlikely allies, and must work together to stop Tremaine’s sinister plot to devastate the entire city.
Paul Walker was a great actor. I plan on seeing this movie. Looks good.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the movie recommendation. Hadn't heard of it until now, but I've noted it to mention to hubby.
