I try to have a wide variety of books available for Broxton to enjoy.  While I might be more focused on one book or another, I don't want him to be limited based upon my likes and dislikes.  While I am more about fiction and "easy reads" these days, I like knowing that Broxton can enjoy it all!
That was the care with A Great and Complicated Adventure.  I had no idea that this author had other books, I see now that I am just getting familiar with someone that others have know about for some time.
I had a hard time getting into this book, but I think this is one many will enjoy!
Bringing back his popular characters—the squirrel, the ant, the elephant, and their friends—Tellegen conjures up a wondrous world where cakes fly, trees can walk, and letters are made of cream, chestnuts, and honey! Perfectly complemented by Jessica Ahlberg's delicate illustrations, these charming short stories will captivate readers of all ages.

  1. That's an author/book I haven't heard of either. I'm curious now though. :)

  2. Mica gets locked into one series or another. Then it's hard getting him off of that series. I guess as long as he's reading it doesn't matter.
