Fun night with the @BiloxiShuckers

Life has been pretty hectic lately around here. (Saving that for another day!)  I just wanted to recap about an amazing time we had over summer break and share a bit with you.  If you have been here for a while, you might know that we love Biloxi, Mississippi. In 2015, they went and upped their game, bringing in a Minor League Ball team!  (See what I did there?) You read that right, they now have a baseball team!  Last year, we were not able to make it to a game, so when we planned our summer trip for this year, we planned it based on their home schedule and I am so glad we did!
FTC Compliant Review Policy:  We were given complimentary tickets.  I was not required to post this, but I did want to share.

When we got to Biloxi, we came right in time for bad weather. It ended up changing our plans some, but it all worked out for the best and we made the most of it!  We were able to make it to a Friday night game and the tickets we were given were amazing seats! Broxton had so much fun he wanted to go again, unfortunately, we were headed back out, so we only made one game!

So, let me just try and tell you a bit about it...
We were staying at the Beau Rivage, which is DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET!  We just walked on over when it was close to game time and that was super easy.  The park is small enough that I don't think any seat is a bad one, but it is large enough to hold a good amount of people and have a great time.   The best part to me?  The background of the field is the beautiful Beau Rivage!

Like I said, we had a great time, but I do need to add that it was hotter than I don't know what.  At least it was to me, but then again, I am not used to heat.  I am an indoor kinda gal!

The game was actually a double header to make up for the bad weather earlier in the week, so we had that as a bonus!  I feel that the Shuckers have really made this a great place to bring the family as they had fun events going on!  I noticed they had a bounce house, but we didn't go over there.
They had entertainment between each inning.

We even had Schooner (the mascot) come over and walk around right in front of us! Just imagine the shock and excitement to a 2 and 8 year old! Hype people in the stands with trivia and all the fun you expect at a major league baseball game, just more affordable with a family!

Remember how I said I had the kids with me???  Well you KNOW that means we had to check out the food! This place had a little of this and a little of that.  Don't quote me on it, but I think I saw them even selling red beans and rice stuffed sausage!

I can not say it enough, we had a great time!  We are already planning our next trip to go back to Biloxi and I believe we will be trying to get more than one game in at that time!

Final thing, when we left, it was just the kids and I.  I felt totally safe walking out of the park and back to the hotel.  If you are planning any trips, make sure to keep Biloxi on your radar.  It is perfect for all ages!  The Biloxi Shuckers make it a great time for the whole family!
