Sesame Street Live - Worth it all! #SesameStreetLive #MakingMemories

I am telling you, we have had so much negative in our lives lately, it is nice to be able to have a little positive to enjoy!!!  We were recently invited to go and check out Sesame Street Live! Let's Party!  in Duluth, Georgia.  Savannah is in LOVE with Elmo, so I was thrilled that we would be able to attend.

She basically wasn't feeling well and we almost did not attend.  I decided that as much as she loves Elmo and the crew, I would take her and see how she did.  She slept the whole day and on the way there.  As soon as we walked in the door, she was wide awake and alert and acting like she was not sick at all. It was great, she was dancing and singing and just full of joy!!!!

Sesame Street Live!  Let's Party!  was a great show to take Savannah to see.  There was going to be a party on Sesame Street, but no one could agree on one theme.  One wanted a beach theme, another a super hero theme, one wanted cookies, while one wanted more of a bird theme.  As each theme was introduced by each character, there was also music and dancing for it!  Perfect to get you out of your seat and laughing and dancing! 

We had great seats and were ready for the show. The two people on Sesame Street were discussing how they wanted to have a party, but they each had a different theme in mind.  At this point, several of the different main characters of Sesame Street entered and had their time on the stage.  I loved how they did it, as each character had one on one time with the people.  Savannah loved seeing each of them! 

 Popcorn makes everything better... As per tradition that was started with Broxton, we had to get a thing of popcorn to enjoy during the show. 

 Of course she was thrilled beyond anything when her best friend, Elmo, showed up on stage!   Personally, I wish Elmo would have had more time, but it was fair and each character seemed to have equal time on stage. 

Since Sesame Street Live is geared more towards the younger crowd, it was great to have the show broken up with an intermission around halfway through.  At this point, she decided she was going to be a silly girl and use her bag as her hat!  

Before we went to the show, Broxton was frustrated that he had to go to a "baby show" with us, but once he was there, he enjoyed it too!  Savannah was up dancing and singing and seeing her excited like that makes all of us happy as well! 

After intermission, we started seeing the characters share the stage and it was great to see them all on stage together at the end!  It was also a great time to see that while Elmo has a special place in Savannah's heart, she actually really loves all of them!
