Pokemon Petite Pals - Must have under the tree this year! #Review

Do you have fans of Pokemon on your Christmas list?   My kid brother was big into the Pokemon craze back in his day and then Broxton jumped on it when it got big again with the Pokemon Go.  Of course, anything that Big Brother does, little sister needs to be ALL up in... so of course she LOVES "pick-choo" as she calls him and thinks she knows all about them.  We were recently sent the Pokemon Petite Pals Escape in the Forest Playset for review and it has seen plenty of playtime already!   I thought about giving it to Broxton, but when it was in my hands, I knew Savannah would be all over it.

Pokemon Petite Pals is so stinking cute!  It is a doll house type tree house that comes with accessories and a couple of the characters. They thought of it all.  The parts are super tiny, so it says ages 4 and older, but she plays with them while I watch her and it has been fine.  They have a bed and a table and even a cute little nightstand to decorate the tree house with.  Remember how I said they thought of it all?  Well, they even included lamps and books and little knick-knacks to decorate!

I like how they have other sets that you can build to make the forest bigger.  One thing that I really liked?  The pieces (and the characters) have suction cups on the bottom so they sit up on the play area.  One thing I do wish they would change? I wish they would offer a way to carry it all for travel.

One of the pieces is like a decorative hill or something and it opens and you can store stuff in there, but it doesn't hold all of the characters and accessories. I know that is a small thing, but when you have a kid that wants to take it everywhere when travelling out of town, this would be great!

Maybe they could add a chest of some sort to hold all the pieces or even a cute little poke-ball shaped case.  Either way, an extra way to keep it all together would be great, but not the end of the world.  As I said, she has played with it so very much since she opened it. Broxton has played with it when she allows it.  It is cute to see her sit at her table and play for hours with the play area.  Maybe Santa needs to bring another set this Christmas!   I love the creative play with this and the fact that she and Broxton both love it and can have fun.  The attention to detail really makes it stand out!

Big thanks to TOMY for sending along this set for review!
