Own #Paddington 2 on Blu-ray Combo Pack & DVD on April 24, or Own It Now on Digital! #ad

This past weekend was a busy one, let me just tell you know.  Savannah had a couple doctor appointments earlier in the week.  Friday she had surgery to put tubes in. (Yeah, I know it is a normal procedure and super fast, but this mama was freaking out about them having to put her to sleep.)  Anyways, Saturday we had Broxton's first soccer game of the season.  He had a great turn out of people there to support him for game one.  More on all of that later... Right now, I want to tell you what we did Saturday night.  After an emotional and busy week, we decided that Saturday night was going to be a nice quiet night at home.  We had just received Paddington 2 for review, so we knew what movie it was going to be...

We saw the first Paddington in the theater (and many times since at home) so when we heard Paddington 2 was coming out, we knew it was on our list to see.  We had planned to see it in the theaters as well, but one thing after another... and well, lets just say it was headed to DVD before we even thought about having time to go to the movies.

I popped popcorn and we settled in for family movie night.  Savannah thought she was a big girl and sat there and watched it with us...
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!!!
Oh and let me just tell you, I have ALWAYS said I wanted to go to London... We can agree that this movie makes my desire to visit even greater now!

Press Release:
Following the worldwide hit “Paddington,” one of the most successful family films of all time, this much-anticipated sequel finds Paddington (Ben Whishaw) happily settled with the Brown family in London, where he has become a popular member of the local community, spreading joy and marmalade wherever he goes.

While searching for the perfect present for his beloved Aunt Lucy’s hundredth birthday, Paddington sees a unique pop-up book in Mr. Gruber’s antique shop, and embarks upon a series of odd jobs to buy it.  But when the book is stolen, it’s up to Paddington and the Browns to unmask the thief.
See my babies watching the movie together?

As I said, we loved it.  I will tell you this... It did get me a little teary eyed.  I am not going to elaborate, as I don't want to spoil anything... but it gets you with the emotions!  I think he really teaches you about your life having an impact on those around you and how no matter the size, big or small, you can make a difference!  I think it is also a great movie about family and friendship and I am glad we now have it to add to our family library!

  1. I still have never seen the first one. These movies look cute. I remember watching Paddington Bear on PBS when I was a kid.
