Summer is ending, Celebrate with a #Giveaway

Summer is almost over.  Seems like school just got out for the summer and now here we are starting back.  I remember when I was in school we got 3 months off for summer... now seems like they are getting shorter and shorter.  Honestly, I would not mind year round school, if they incorporated nice long breaks in between, but I think I am in the minority on this one.  Seeing as though I am a working mom now, we really did not get much time to go and do like we have in the past, but I tried to make it as fun as I could.  We planned a trip to the beach for several days and let me tell you... WE HAD A BLAST!!!!   I do wish time would slow down, as I know my "babies" won't stay "babies" forever... but I honestly LOVE watching them grow up and become who they are.  Yes, I have hopes and dreams... all parents do, but in the end... I want them to be WHO they are meant to be!

    We enjoyed the last 2 days of our vacation to Arizona. The first 2 days were rocky with Mica feeling so bad with hives all over.

    I started off the summer with foot surgery which has kicked my behind even up to today so our summer has been slower than usual. We did go to Wildwood for a weekend. I also took my daughter up to Met life stadium where we stayed overnight to see the Taylor Swift concert she won tickets to.

    It is a hard choice which card I would want. I love Target but seem to be in Walmart so much more since it is closer to me so I guess I would pick a Walmart card please.

    Well our summer started off badly but we did have such a shining light come into our life we were all just so shocked it happened so quickly!! My husbands brother & his wife have been in line for adoption just but few months , we all have been trying to do more together cause boys lost both parents 5+ yrs ago just months apart. Would u know it they got a call in Febuary 19,201!! They were up right after birth they met the Mom,Grandparents and Aunts & big brother!i was sick the day they come home with her but I told my husband to go up hold take pictures!! He did great pictures. I cried I was having gallbladder attacks I went almost 2yrs like that before they figured it out cause my heart was going up to 200+ ! But it's been great with our new life we Welcomed into Our Family with Open Arms & Open Hearts She is Our Family & she just is learning how to roll & jabber, scoot we just have so much fun!

    We've had a busy summer! One of my favorite things, though, was a family day just a few weeks ago. We had to take care of one bit of business, then we had the rest of the day free. We went to a fun restaurant for lunch and stopped for ice cream afterward. We played "Pass the Ice Cream." (It's less expensive to get a large cup of ice cream (half chocolate, half raspberry soft-serve) than three smaller ones.) So we get to tease each other with things like, "Ahem ... I think your turn is up."

    Definitely ... enjoy this time with them while they're growing up! As the mom of a young adult, I can tell you that it's both exciting and sad to see him finishing college, applying for full-time jobs, and thinking about leaving the nest.

    We didn’t have too much fun this summer. I moved to a new city with my family and gave birth to my baby girl just one week later on June 4. She was 4 weeks early. I have 2 other kids, ages 12 and 9, who are just so in love with having a baby sister. They start their new school Wednesday and are extremely nervous. We are on new adventures in 2018.

    Something fun I did this summer? We really didn't do much of anything this summer. It was just so hot and we didn't plan good when school was out, but we plan to make up for it this fall!

Fire Fly Toothbrushes - #giveaway

Is it a hassle to get your younger kids to brush their teeth? Broxton loves it and asks throughout the day if he can go and brush his... Now that he has a new toothbrush!!! We were sent a couple toothbrushes from Fire Fly Toothbrushes and I just love the concept! With Fire Fly, they light up! You just press the button and they light up for a solid minute. What we do here is a little system. First, Broxton brushes his teeth for the first minute. (just a teeny bit of toothpaste) Then, I brush the next minute (once again, minimal toothpaste.) Finally, he gets to brush them a final minute (no toothpaste.) The system is working and his teeth are clean! During the day, when he wants to brush them.. He can, but with no toothpaste. As we all know, it can sometimes be a bit difficult to take the temperature of a sick child. Hey, some adults are known to be big babies... The longer they have to wait, the fussier they become. Well, with the Exergen Temporal Scanner ... Wait is something that can be eliminated! Why do I say that? Just because the wait is merely 2 seconds!
